You know what, at this point I wish the “trans genocide” these loons scream about was a real thing.
These people are so offensive on a basic human level and will step on anyone to feel “valid” rather than see a therapist.

…and in just months from now: followed by just two years, there’ll be nothing stopping Democrats from reversing any & all legislation against trans people. Indeed: why shouldn’t that new administration bring out legislation which makes being anti-trans illegal?
Then the ‘41%’ will consist of bigots being denied their right to persecute LGBT people.
I believe that transgender people receive years of mental therapy before they can start hormone therapy.
But HRT improves their mental health far more than psychological treatment, so you're just wrong in every possible way.

I’m friends on various social media things with a good number of transgender folks, and I wouldn’t call any one of them “offensive” in the least. Of course, ya know, that’s at least partly because the people I seek out on social media outlets are generally those who I have some sort of common interest with. I’m sure if I knew way more trans people, I’d find some bad apples in the bunch, so to speak. If my almost half a century of existence in this world has taught me anything, I think it’s that you can take just about any category of people you care to categorize them by, and there will be some good people and some bad people and some inbetween to be found in it.

I may not have much online “friends” (more like acquaintances), but I actually care very little about what their sexual orientation or gender identity is as long as we have similar interests and/or opinions. Sometimes I learn by happenstance that someone I talk to or whose posts I follow is queer or gay or trans only afterwards, and then I don’t treat them better or worse or different in any way. I honestly just don’t care that much, it’s hardly the only thing or biggest thing that defines a person. Yes, I’ll admit that sometimes when a disembodied voice shows their face they turn out to be a different gender than I visualized them as, but then I just course correct my thoughts and move on.
Even here on FSTDT, I honestly couldn’t care less what all of your sexual orientation or gender identity is unless it’s relevant to the topic at hand (and I really don’t mean that in an insulting or degrading way). It doesn’t make you people any less or more human. What matters more is that you guys are more rational and more sane than most IMO.
So TL;DR, I truly do not comprehend why being trans is so inherently “offensive” to some jerks.
