Went to an interview for a job down the street. They said "you'll have to wear a facemask" and [I]
said "lol bye"

Well, there's a ready-made job for someone who does wear a mask.
Let's see how your so-called 'Pride' pays the mortgage: thus keeps you from being homeless, OP...!
Maybe this business was trying to stay open, and COVID outbreaks being traced to their business might be, in the best case, a bad advertissement and in the worst case a motive for mandatory closure.

I remember reading somewhere about Spielberg’s friends having been refused at the USAF because of traffic violations proving they weren’t able to function in a strictly disciplinated environment. The mask issue might be another way to verify this.
Considering that there are at least 5 or 6 viable vaccines and tons of people already got sick and masking at best is partially effective, mask mandates are not reasonable. I'd rather get sick at this point if I haven't already been than wear a mask one more minute. Besides it's technically more deadly if you get it when you're 1 year older than now. Wtf are we doing?
My company is estimating a loss of about 3% of our workforce due to the government’s vaccine mandate.
Some think they’re too important to the company to be lost. I think there will be a sharp learning curve ahead. We just dump more jobs on fewer people. An industry tradition.
Strangely, they’re not calculating the loss of job applicants who pre-refuse to cooperate. Much more efficient to dismiss people ahead of actually needing them.

Wish they weren’t but sadly we have too many obtuse plague rats in this species. This thing will not stay the same as long, as it has new hosts to test itself out in, hence we still have to do everything we can to minimize the transmission and new cases spread.

Well here’s a thing: Medical emergency measures don’t give much of a shitsky about what you’d rather. I have badly skewed nose and it makes it visibly harder for me to breathe the air through it in a mask, I hate every moment of wearing them but I still do and will till such a time, as the medical officials in charge of this outbreak announce they are no longer needed.
Because it’s both the empathetic and the adult thing to do.
“Besides it's technically more deadly if you get it when you're 1 year older than now.”
That can be literally said about anything and everything in life past, say 20… What is your point even supposed to be here?
“Wtf are we doing?”
From the above it looks to me like you’re in the process of either inducing yourself into some solipsistic spiral or possibly having a stroke.

The point is that whether it's legally dubious ordinances, constitutionally dubious laws or just peer pressure, we're being asked to sacrifice normal breathing when the benefits aren't that great and may actually be worse for people who already have enough trouble breathing (you included by your own admission). It is bad for kids especially who are no longer learning non-verbal communication not seeing faces much.
We're doing all of this mainly to protect people who both have a great fear of this virus and choose not to take any of the vaccines. Does any of this make sense to you?
It's quite possible that the guy above already had Covid and is vaccinated in which case there's no argument you can make in favor of masking at least for him. None.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
