Atheists believe they cease to exist when they die.

Why then do they even bother to oppose Christians and aggressively work to impose their religion on the culture if all is futile anyway?

The atheists’ battle against Christianity clearly illustrates the spiritual struggle raging around us, pointed out by the Apostle Paul:

FFS, just because we might cease to exist when we die does NOT mean we think THIS LIFE is futile!! That’s the exact opposite of what that means, ya disingenuous MORON!!

Also, Hambone, if you TRULY cared about a “spiritual battle” to “save souls”, you wouldn’t be preaching to the converted by using the same old disproven claims all the friggin’ time. Instead, you’d learn what Non-Christians actually believe and try to argue with us on our terms instead.

It's not that we believe that and more that there is no evidence of anything after this life.

Because most actually don’t care and are perfectly happy for religious people who are able to find homes in religious communities if that’s what they want and those communities help build rather than tear down a person.

There are some who trying to sell books with proactive titles or generate clickbait engagement and every now and then some atheists will blow off steam and implicate all of religion even if they know better intellectually. For those who experienced spiritual abuse in former religious communities than that can be a type of therapy.

Atheists are also working to partner with their pluralist religious allies to push back against the existential threat that people like Ken represent. It’s unfortunate but Ken and his oil billionaire backers have somehow won the branding war over who is “Christian” or what is “religion” and that shouldn’t be allowed.

Well, no, Ken, we just don’t see a reason to think anything persists after we die. I mean, by what mechanism? Energy cannot maintain a patter without a physical base to hold it.

Personally I want future generations to have lives free of the poison of fundamentalism because it rots the brain. We can no longer afford to tolerate such toxic thinking.
