Because you can just retroactively found a country over 400 years in the past. Just like the US was actually founded in 1321 by Donald Trump, the Monopoly Man, and Adolf Hitler.
Never really bothered to listen to this Nick fellow, but even when Carl was just getting off and people suggested him, didn't care much for him. Aside from his team up with the (then) Bible Reloaded, he always just sounds like a smug twat. Veracity of his arguments aside.

Nick Fuentes is the leader of the Groypers, who think the alt-right isn’t racist enough and don’t worship Donald Trump enough. He’s mainly known for flying around the US and trying to convince people to go out on the street and start fighting anyone they come across. A bunch of assholes started a downtown riot in New York after he appeared there and told them to “teach the globalists a lesson”. The people they attacked ended up being arrested by the NYPD while the Groypers were allowed to walk away.

Oh, I "know" about him, just all my info is second hand/reading a few snippets. It's why I focused more on Carl's presentation vs his actual stupid arguments.
Funny enough, the main reason I recognized him instead of me just glazing over the name as just yet another far right wack job was a far right idiot fight awhile back. I forget most of the details, but saw it while looking over Vox's den of idiocy.
I think the gist if it was Nick called out Owen Benjamin for "harming" the more right wing message by being a loony conspiracy theorist (flat earth, moon landing hoax, etc.) And Owen just insulting him back. And Vox of course defended his loony business partner and saying how nick wasn't batahit crazy enough for his standards.
