Well, you could always ask two certain people - who have two sons - about the legality of such, OP:
David Furnish and Sir Elton John.
You would first have to establish that it’s POSSIBLE to make someone transgendered if they’re not born that way. That it’s not just a matter of encouraging and allowing them to transition when they realize it.
TLDR: No.
I hate to be all Helen Lovejoy but I wish these people would think of the children, the trans children. Kids’ brains aren’t developed enough to understand that these attacks aren’t about them but are deliberate acts to gain political power on their backs. That means they will internalize this and falsely think that they’ve done something wrong. It will make them feel worse if they think that might “cause” their parents, doctors, or teachers to go to prison as well as having to fear state welfare agents pulling them out of their homes and into foster settings where they will be sent to conversion therapy or otherwise abused. This has to be hell on their still developing brains.
Political bullies are causing so much long term damage to youth. To any politician that sees this as an appropriate way to get power: if you feel the need to bully children then you are not qualified for even the office of dog catcher.
