So a verse in YOUR religious book, written by a guy clearly biased towards YOUR god, states that anyone who expresses unbelief in YOUR god is just lying to themselves?
Yeah, you can see how this can raise some eyebrows. Are you now going to quote that one psalm about “The fool sayeth him his heart, ‘There is no God’”?
You know, the Quran has got some pretty harsh words for infidels as well. Why aren’t you a Muslim, E.Z.? Doesn’t it frighten you that you might live your life as a Christian, only to die and hear Allah’s voice say, “You were a fool, Emeal!”
Probably not, but now you’ll likely say that Muslims and everyone else is WRONG. THEY are all man-made fairy tales. Only YOUR god is real, only YOUR religious book is divinely inspired, and only YOUR preferred denomination of Christianity is correct.
This might convince Christians already predisposed to believe it, but it won’t help your case when witnessing. For comparison, suppose some prominent incel writes that “all women are born to be sex slaves”. Does that count as evidence that it’s true?
Maybe, but only in the minds of other incels. The rest of us will look on in bemused disgust at what incels perceive to be good ‘evidence’. I suggest you remember this next time you try to present your ‘evidence’ to someone who doesn’t already believe it.
