'Forced To Remain Pregnant'

One of the most common - and one of the most absurd - arguments used by those people is that it is wrong to force a woman to remain pregnant. The absurdity lies in the fact that pregnancy is an automatic process; you cannot force someone to remain pregnant any more than you can force someone to breathe or to digest food. And still they keep saying 'If a woman can't get access to abortion, she is being forced to be pregnant and give birth' and other such itch-shit arguments.

Abortion bans affect the providers, not the women who want their own unborn children dead, and they can always get an illegal abortion if they dare (which I recommend against), so technically they still have abortion access.

The typical common denominator in unwanted pregnancy is sexual congress. And yet still people keep on getting pregnant. Humans are supposed to be able to use their intelligence to override their base instincts, so they should do so.

That’s complete and utter bullScheiße. Breathing and/or digesting food are processes that are required to live and are truly done by the body autonomously. And in the case of breathing, cannot stop under any circumstances. Pregnancy not only is NOT required to live at all, but is initiated by another, external party, sometimes by force. The human body CANNOT become pregnant on its own EVER.

Hell, even Virgin MARY did not become pregnant on her own. She was still impregnated by another being no matter how you look at it.

So, yeah, you fail biology and basic humanity forever.

So to cure this problem, you’ll look after all the unwanted babies in the world?

But we have the technology to end pregnancies, while lacking the ability to become breatharians, so it’s a terribly bullshit analogy.

And Pregnancy itself has risks to the life of the mother. Each state has a mortality rate for pregnant women The states that have banned abortion don’t publish it any more but they still have one.
And women die in childbirth.
Forcing them to remain pregnant is forcing them to accept risk for YOUR sake not their own.

Yes, this is why states want to access doctor records so they’ll know if a woman suddenly stops being pregnant, and why they make it illegal to travel out of state for an abortion.

Shoving food down people’s throat to force them to digest food is done to break hunger strikes. It is also possible to force somebody to breath with iron lung gear but there is little point because a person can’t stop breathing enough to die on their own.
