What is it about Sodom and Gomorrah that was so detestable that it had to be destroyed so completely after which the only thing remaining are remnants of cinder and sulphur? The story of Lot and the encounter with the people of these cities is clear enough, isn’t it? Here I am pointing a judgmental finger at Lot. Questioning his reasoning for living in such a wicked environment in the first place. What was wrong with him? He was aware of the deviant life style of the region yet there he was. Surely there were other worse practices than mere homosexuality. I guess we just weren’t made aware of them. No sir, the example given in these scriptures was plain old homosexual gang rape. And lusting after angelic beings perhaps.

Here in our great country the homosexual life style is actually celebrated and courageously admired. The month of June in the United States has been designated (per Wikipedia) “Pride Month, sometimes specified as LGBTQIA+PRIDE MONTH, is a month-long observance dedicated to the celebration of LGBTQ pride, commemorating the contributions of lesbian, gay (homosexual), bisexual, transgender and queer culture and community”. We’ve come a long way, haven’t we? Do you feel the pride? Sodom and Gomorrah has nothing on us. We’ve expanded our desires to transgenderism allowing a person to identify themselves differently from the sex they were “assigned” at birth. Although they may have male organs, they can simply remove them and now identify as a female. There is legislation in this country protecting confused minors who would like pursue such options.
