I mean, from just the quick look at federal holidays, I'd say the holiday commemorating a genocidal, slaving brute who was reprimanded by the country endorsing him for being excessively cruel would be more "wretched" than a day celebrating freedom from slavery. But that's just me.

And, the BLM movement isn't a centralized group. Their main motive is to bring attention to the discrepancy of how police deal with blacks, violence against the black population, and issues with the police interactions with the black community.

Now, you can find faults with the movement. You can oppose reparations. But if your reasons aren't good you will be called out, and if you say "Oh, this is the greatest nation!" But the people are experiencing oppression than it isn't the greatest "For Them." And hypocritically complaining about trying to improve the nation instead of leaving when all you do is complain how the country is terrible because of the darn commies/socialists/other boogeymen just makes you look like a fuckwit.

People like Gomez are the ones calling America a third world country, claiming it is a "once great nation" and is a banana republic under democrat control. They can't stop talking about how much America isn't great anymore. So why is she still here?

I love this country and people on my side don't talk as much shit about America as Conservatives do. If they love America why do they treat it like shit?
