I’ve seen Satanists, Jews, Universalist Unitarians, and even an occasional moderate Christian or Muslim argue that lack of access to abortion is a violation of their religious freedom. That’s a far cry from abortions being “rituals”, let alone specifically Satanic ones.
“Abortionist” is not a meaningfully homogeneous group, and the majority don’t approach this issue on religious grounds.
Claims like “Abortion is a satanic ritual” is based on the idea that it’s physically and mentally a micro-version of a newborn in the womb
