Also, if the tree of Liberty™ wants blood, shouldn’t he be happy with Trump, considering all the executions and pardons for war criminals he is giving out?
I'd say it wants Trump's blood, @Bastethotep . I mean, he's literally trying to become a tyrant, so he'd be a prime choice.
Hope that his diet doesn't hurt the poor tree though.

It’s generally thought to have been the “star” indicating the birth of the Christ.
When Jefferson was speaking about refreshing the tree of liberty with blood from patriots and tyrants, he spoke about permanent revolutions to protect the liberties from would-be dictators, not about supporting the self-coup of a leader.
The late great Gen. Chuck Yeager would have been the first to say that said Tree of Liberty was refreshed by the blood of his comrades who didn't make it beyond the sands of Omaha Beach: yet, he did his part in WWII. Vietnam, too.

Unfortunately Garrison, like so many others, is turning against Trump because he thinks Trump is a weakling, because Trump has not yet declared martial law.
