Ahh, is this part of the huge international Jewish conspiracy the (other) ultra-rightwing nutjobs are always bitching about?
What … needs to do is he needs to // … a way to get them gone
Free speech? How about correct speech? Geez, learn English.
President Trump … arrest the heads … and shut down Silicon Valley … send the military in and drag these MFers out by their hair … destroy … our Constitution … we will take care of this by any means possible.”
Ok, let me get this straight. The government should ignore and directly go against the Constitution in order to force private institutions which are not obliged to grant anybody anything, except legally fair business practices, to adhere to a law which is meant solely to check government power? Firstly, the POTUS can’t arrest anybody. Secondly even where applicable the 1st Amendment isn’t defended by criminal courts. Nobody gets arrested and sent to jail. It’s upheld by challenges to the courts which then order changes, if necessary. Third, the military doesn’t have any police function on US soil. Fourth, dragging people by their hair constitutes police brutality. Fifth, even if applicable, you can’t defend the Constitution by ignoring it. Sixth, you’re welcome to protest anything you want peacefully, but not “by any means possible” if that includes violence.
Do you know what Silicon Valley is? I do. I’ve been there. It’s an area of San Jose. You wouldn’t notice it as such if you didn’t know you were there. It’s not a closed off compound. You can’t “shut it down.”
They must be shut down. And if not, we need to figure out a way to get them gone.
Once again your total disregard for the English language catches up with you. Your “if not” refers, as written, to “they must be shut down”. So what you’re saying is “if they must not be shut down”, leading to a direct contradiction in the rest of your sentence “we need to figure out a way to get them gone.” I know you meant “if not” to refer to police action, but that’s not what you wrote. Please, please learn English.
*ETA, the proceeding post beat me to a few details.
