However, in the process of separating from the British crown, the baby was thrown out with the bath water.
How so? We've kept quite a bit of British institutions, even if we renamed them. John Adams wanted to have the president be akin to a monarch and we have the Constitution because we've found a weak Federal government to not be working.
It’s possible to make America regal with the right vision. Here’s ours:
I think we'd be more regal if we didn't have Trump in office. Obama was pretty cool.
Monarchy is based on human nature. It’s practical. It puts real-life observations and the welfare of the public first. We avoid romanticism and lofty-sounding ideas that have no real application
I don't see how it does? How does having someone inheirit power because they're from the right family based on human nature? I can see the benefit of raising someone fir the job from birth but it sounds pretty creepy to do so as a matter of course. We Americans don't even like having someone's career decided based on their grades when they're young teens.
In fact, unadulterated kingdoms have historically performed more efficiently and with greater public freedom than what Americans suffer today
I thinks serfs would definitely disagree with you. And the Third Estate in pre-revolurionary France. What freedoms are you talking about and who specifically are you talking about?
