So there is a homeless shelter in my hometown that was built about 40 years ago. Of course, when it was built, it was completely empty around it. The only places nearby were a convenient store and a strip joint. Fast forward now and tons and tons of housing has been built around that homeless shelter that was there first.
I still get the next door feed for this neighborhood and it is entirely about how they can’t understand why there are so many homeless around and why won’t the town come take the mean horrible homeless away (I use homeless here instead of people because it’s clear that these homeowners don’t think of them as such, the terms they use are far worse). They never seem stop to think, “hey, wow, I moved in to an area that has a homeless shelter next door, maybe I should have looked into that before I moved here!!”
Somehow I think Judah_Earl could be one of these fools.
