I don't like the idea of making a "birth defect" something that should carry a negative connotation. Though I would say it's my male anatomy that's the defect and not my female brain. However. living as a woman is actually living as the correct gender, not the wrong gender. And I'm not appropriating anything. I identify as a woman because my brain is wired like a female brain. I say that makes me a woman. It certainly means I'm not really a man. Letting me live as a woman does not cause any harm to cisgender women. All those other options are just too stupid.
