You definitely have a point and I regret my choice of words and amend that part of my comment thusly.

I do not subscribe to misandry nor do I believe women are better than men. In fact, men-hating women get my goat just as much as misogynists.

I separate Masculine & Feminine PRINCIPLES from Male & Female biology. It’s a nuance I haven’t pointed out as well.

Men & Women do NOT NEED each other and can live and thrive independent from each other.

What I meant was that the Masculine & Feminine as metaphysical/cosmic/spiritual/philosophical/etc. PRINCIPLES are meant to work together and co-exist and can’t be apart. Everyone has Feminine & Masculine within them. Both balance each other out.

When the Feminine Principle is rejected or marginalized, it leads to the Masculine mutating into the Toxic Masculine, which bleeds out into the abuse and marginalization of the physical/biological Female.

Also; I agree that we should never stoop to the same misdeeds as the jerks. Like you, I just agree that I’m surprised it hasn’t happened en-masse.

That said; Brazil seems to crank out a LOT of cases of gorefest murders….

* Numerous videos of cartel atrocities that would make even a DAESH goon blush.
* A video I heard about where some player at a local soccer game was insulted in some way and the player’s family ganged up on the insulter….not to merely beat him up (as one might assume in a similar situation with unruly families at a soccer game)….but to kill and dismember him (and this was caught on video).
* One teen kid who got mad at a younger kid he was watching over video game money…resulting in the older kid doing some seriously Nightmare Fuel rape/torture/dismemberment murder on the younger one (and the younger kid’s poor mother had to discover her son’s body).

….Really! To quote the title of an obscure Pink Floyd song, “Wot’s Uh, The Deal?”. Is it a “machismo” thing? Was that family at the soccer match a bunch of cartel goons? Was that teen boy plain messed up in the head or secretly in a cartel?

Cartels seem to be the only explanation for this because “this ain’t normal”, not even for the usual criminal types.
