When I say “melting pot of cultures”, I was thinking about people from different cultures mixing enough to become one type of people with really no culture at all. Or celebrating multiple cultures in their heritage. The leftist part is true. Doesn’t take much to find anti-white leftists on YouTube. At least I don’t think it is. Take Tariq Nasheed for example. I’m pretty sure he is a leftist, despite being against Kamala Harris for some reason. And when I said “lots of leftists”, I don’t mean majority or even all that much. I meant that there a quite a few that you can find.
Also, I didn’t say that racism and xenophobia are right. I’m just saying that it is, for the most part, a part of our nature. Not everybody, however. I don’t mean to imply that we are all racists/xenophobes. Because not everyone retains primitive traits. Racism and xenophobia aren’t beneficial for our survival anymore. You act like that just because we are highly intelligent that means racism and xenophobia are inexcusable. Again, I don’t support those two, and agree with what you are saying, but it may be part of the nature of a lot of people. The best thing for those kinds of people, then, would be to try and suppress those behaviors in some way. But it’s likely that we won’t be able to breed such behaviors out of our species, at least not for a long time. Reason being, of course, that racists and xenophobes tend to reproduce a lot, too. If they reproduce more than non-racists/non-xenophobes do then that makes it even more unlikely that we can breed racism and xenophobia out of our species any time soon.
Also, are you sure that lots of people agree that racism and xenophobia stem from territoriality? That’s just a theory for me. Lots of people say that racism is learned, which is true. But that’s only part of it. The obvious part, that is. We know that a lot of people learned racism from their parents. And those peoples parents learned racism from their parents. The bigger question would be: How and why did it start? And by looking at the territorial behaviors of other apes, we may be able to figure that out.
Again, however, I do agree with most of what you are saying.
