Honestly? Even as an Asexual, this guy just reads as… puritanical and s*x-negative.
I don’t know how anyone gets anywhere as disturbed by it as he is. (And I have no desire whatsoever to find out.)
The way the usual logic of fundamentalists on this subject has very nearly imploded on itself is more bizarre than the way he chose to phrase it.

Agreed.
Life is stubborn, and has survived many mass extinctions even before we started to separate from the other great apes. It would literally take the planet being glassed or sterilized for life to not exist here anymore. But that doesn’t mean we would survive climate change, if it turned into the current worst-case scenario.

Oi. The things he talks about at the end are the early warning signs of an abusive partner (often a narcissist or psychopath). The best thing about that last one is that raising livestock for meat requires a ridiculous amount of food to begin with: in the US alone, you could feed 800 million people with just the grains fed to these animals.
And because of how much energy is retained when anything eats anything else, we’d have more food produced per annum than we would if we changed nothing.
