Paul M. Dohse Sr. #wingnut paulspassingthoughts.com

I have followed politics since I was a nine year old Barry Goldwater conservative. One thing has always characterized my view of the American electorate: cynicism. It was obvious from the beginning that Jimmy Carter would be a disaster. The American people elected him anyway. Everyone knew Bill and Hillary Clinton are corrupt. The American people elected them anyway. Everyone knew Barak Obama had a negative view of America. The American people elected him anyway.

I could never figure it out, until now. For the most part, like me, the electorate has been cynical and unenergized. Look, for some time, at least forty years, everyone knew political promises are made to be broken; we came to expect it. George Bush’s infamous “read my lips” was merely political business as usual. Even more frustrating was the following: Ronald Reagan clearly demonstrated that a smaller government empowers America and its people.

However, knowing the brilliance of the founding fathers of America, who put a failsafe constitution in place leading to a very resilient America, we have always figured we could keep America afloat by voting for the least of two evils. Hence, we made up enough of the electorate to keep things close. Question: who was the last Democrat to win an election by a landslide? See what I mean? The problem has always been inactivity by commonsense Americans who are fed-up with looking and acting “presidential” being more important than keeping promises. The icing on the cake was watching the Bush’s frolic with people who obviously hate this country and everything it stands for in the name of “civility.”

Donald Trump has changed all of that. Finally, a leader who says what he means and means what he says. He not only keeps promises, but doesn’t let opposition from others stop him from fulfilling his promises. It’s the fulfilling of promises times two because he doesn’t use opposition as an excuse to not get the job done. In other words, he views campaign promises as his job description. In the business world, you either get the job done or you don’t, period. This is how Trump is running the country and it is more than we could ever hope for.

Moreover, his unceremonious disrespect for those who disagree with him is balm for years of frustration. It’s payback for those who make America work while being dismissed as worthless grunts by elitists. Oddly, regardless of Trump’s pedigree, we hear, “He’s one of us!”

It’s why the Russia hoax didn’t work. It’s why the Ukraine hoax didn’t work, and it’s why the Coronavirus fear mongering hoax to trash the economy is not going to work, but this time with an added twist.

Everyone knows this virus is being exaggerated so that Trump doesn’t get credit for a good economy, but meanwhile, it has robbed thousands of Americans from once in a lifetime family experiences. This is going to backfire bigtime. Trump has no choice but to send the Navy Seals to take care of a schoolyard bully, but more than likely, it is going to put a quick stop to this virus and Trump will get all of the credit. Meanwhile, people will remember what the exaggerated response costed them personally. This is a political disaster for the Democrats. They have made it personal on ground level.

Have you noticed that Nancy Pelosi et al have changed their tune this week? It’s because they see it regardless of their TDS. In addition, consider that more than half of the people infected, even in China, are now recovered. Again, when the smoke clears, this is going to be a political disaster for the Democrats.

The character assignation and “political qualifications” playbook no longer works because the American electorate is no longer marginalized by the disenfranchised. Trump has begun an era of new politics, and it will result in the mother of all electorate landslides in 2020.

Furries claim to be a mere fandom. That’s it, move on, nothing to see here. What is a fandom? A fandom makes a hobby out of something people are a fan of. It’s very much like a fan club. For example, people who like Ford Mustangs might join a Mustang club or some other kind of car club. I once knew a couple who owned two Huskies and were members of a Husky club. Fan clubs concerning sports figures and movie stars are myriad.

The Furry fandom is a fake fandom; it’s a cover, which is why “fake fandom” will be a major theme of the book I will be publishing on the Furry “fandom.” The introduction will preface the use of ” the Fandom” in the book with the author’s acknowledgment that it is a fake fandom.

Furries like to compare themselves to other fandoms that focus on animation characters and art. “Hey, we are no different than any other club that has a common interest in something; nothing here, get a life and move on.” In the Furries’ avid defense of their sect against my criticism, they are fond of bringing up the Bronies.

Who are the Bronies? Well, they are men who are big fans of the movie, My Little Pony. And, they are very weird. And, they are big into My Little Pony art and other things Pony, but they are not the only fan club that is weird. But, they are a legitimate fandom, and an excellent opportunity to further understand Furryism by comparison and contrast.

As you might suspect, anything that can make a connection of interest between adult men and little girls is bound to be exploited by some, but you have to look hard for actual cases. Most Bronies are young males of the Millennial generation age, which makes sense because the Millennial generation is opposed to what they call, “toxic masculinity.” Many in this fandom tout the benefits of finding their “inner feminine.” In this regard, to some degree, you could argue for Brony ideology, but it isn’t an ideology that drives adverse behavior to any significant degree.

In contrast, decadent, criminal, and adverse behavior by the Furry sect can be found everywhere you point a stick while blindfolded. Bronyism is all about the ponies, but Furyism is about many other things normally not discussed in open settings. Furyism has more baggage than an Amtrak train.

Also, Bronies may use internet handles, but hidden identities are rare. Furries, for the most part, hide their identities. The excuse for that follows: it’s a good idea to hide your identity on the internet because of identity theft. So, if something is a good idea, the motive for doing it is completely irrelevant, right? If the police catch you burglarizing a business in the middle of the night, they should forget the whole thing because you used a penlight to see what you were doing which is a good idea. Hardly. At the beginning of my journalistic journey provoked by a change of leadership at the church I attended years ago, their silly answers and lame excuses told me that there was much more going on than the eyes could see.  Once again, I find myself in the same situation.

Nether do Bronies believe they are ponies. In addition, Bronies don’t believe their true identities are found in ponies. As we will see in future posts in this series, Furism has been classified as a mental dissociative disorder by many psychologists.

Clearly, the election was stolen, and both parties are totally ok with that. Yes, indeed, it could spell the end of America as we know it, but that is not certain and probably unlikely. I continue to be amazed at the genius of America’s founders. No matter what happens, it would seem they saw it coming, and a stolen election by a one-party system posing as two is no exception.

The key is the balance of powers and the separation of powers. For example, it is unlikely that all states or counties within states would go along with gun confiscation. Some counties have declared themselves, by law, sanctuaries for 2nd Amendment rights.

A good person can have a slow progression of cancer. If cancer is not diagnosed and treated, it will eventually kill the victim. Donald Trump exposed the cancer. The next four years could be the treatment, and America could end up being better than ever. This is not wishful thinking; it’s reality, and likely.

Regarding the strategy of Donald Trump’s populist movement going forward, the relevant question is evident: should he start a third party or continue to reform the Republican party?

First, due to the voter fraud issue, Trump’s endgame may not be the White House. He may conclude that widely accepted voter fraud will make that improbable for him. His focus may be the balance of power in the House and Senate. However, a third party with the following Trump has could change what the swing states are on the electoral map to states that enforce fair elections. If Trump maintains a following of 70 million-plus, that makes his options significant.

Fake Fandom: Excerpt From Chapter 4; Anti-Humanity Countercultures | Paul's Passing Thoughts #kinkshaming #pratt paulspassingthoughts.com

In previous chapters, the attempted reformation of the Fandom by the Burned Furs, attempts directed squarely at Mark Merlino, reveal in vivid detail the beginning characteristics of the Fandom. Merlino passively or actively condoned all the characteristics protested against. As documented in the Burned Fur manifesto, a New Age-like anthropomorphic spirituality was prevalent in the movement and is even more prevalent today. Furries routinely refer to their true identities being found in an animal.

As noted in psychological studies that will be looked at closer in this book, the goal is not to become an animal, but to incorporate more and more animalism into the humanity of furries. This is because animals are not all hung-up on human barriers. Beagles relieve themselves on fire hydrants in front of all without giving it a second thought. If a beagle wants to mate with a poodle in someone’s front yard, the pair give the desire no second thought. Gee, if only humans were like that. After all, look at how hung-up we are about many things resulting in unnecessary expenditures for things like bathrooms. Humans spend a lot of money to prevent indiscretions; otherwise known as “hang-ups,” and being “overly serious.”

The list on this perspective can go on and on. Dog’s are man’s best friend and infinitely loyal. Pets never argue with you, and we can even speak for them with no protest by the pet. If only humans were more like that. This is where there is a fine line between philosophy and religion; anthropomorphism, in its most ancient forms, was a rejection of the human race. What better way to reject humanity than ascribing to being more like an animal? Biblicists point to the Apostle Paul’s indictment of humanity at its earliest stages: “they worshiped the creature instead of the creator.” We are speaking to an anti-humanity ideology. Remember, anthropomorphism personifies nonhuman objects, which includes animals, but does not exclude any nonhuman objects like trees, rocks, water, and clouds. People who worship trees are not nuts, they just think trees are better than humans, and if God created humans, He couldn’t be much better. Hatred for humanity will find a contending meaning in anything but humanity. After all, what else is there in the material world? The extreme depends on the degree of disdain. Never underestimate the power of preference by default and what one will do in choosing it.

As noted earlier in this book, the first fanzines of the Fandom were the Vootie APAs. Their stated manifesto was very clear: “No humans (or human logic) allowed.” Characteristics of the Fandom’s beginning followed as detailed by the Burned Furs: any behavior considered abnormal by society at large was vigorously pursued by furries including plushophilia (sex with stuffed animals), zoophilia (bestiality), necrophilia (sex with a corpse), and a list of behaviors becoming and unbecoming of animals who don’t typically masturbate in elevators. Countercultures are such because humans are responsible for culture.

The Furry Fandom: Church’s Way of Making Itself Even More Unsafe for Children | Paul's Passing Thoughts #kinkshaming paulspassingthoughts.com

Is the subject of the Fandom that far away from TANC’s focus of study? Well, I guess not since there is a “Christian Furry” movement afoot. Actually, the movement has become prominent in the church. Perfect. A match made in heaven for sure.

Like church (Protestantism, in particular), most Furry participants don’t know what they have signed up for. Since most Protestants don’t even know what a Protestant is, the two are perfect for each other. Both put children at risk, and both make excuses for the evil they produce. But, of course, what possible connection could there be between what we read in the papers and Martin Luther saying,

“If you are a preacher of mercy, do not preach an imaginary but the true mercy. If the mercy is true, you must therefore bear the true, not an imaginary sin. God does not save those who are only imaginary sinners. Be a sinner, and let your sins be strong (sin boldly), but let your trust in Christ be stronger, and rejoice in Christ who is the victor over sin, death, and the world. We will commit sins while we are here, for this life is not a place where justice resides. We, however, says Peter (2 Peter 3:13) are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth where justice will reign.”

A question: would you hire a person with such a worldview to oversee your church security? When people ask me, “Paul, where is justice in the church?” I will often answer, “Martin Luther said there isn’t any justice in this world to begin with.”

Both decry how they are “painted with a broad brush because of a few bad apples.” Meanwhile, children are acceptable collateral damage and less important than reputation. Both of these cultural movements claim the ideology that created them has no bearing on present behavior. The church may have a better argument than the Fandom, but in light of the headlines the church is trying to overcome, the embracing of a movement like the Fandom is stunning. No, no, church isn’t enough of a hot mess; by all means add the Fandom. No additional baggage there at all.

As will be documented in Fake Fandom, the Fandom began as a sexual revolution using anthropomorphic art as a bridge over cultural barriers. The Fandom was, and still is, a counterculture sex cult. Additionally, anthropomorphism and the manga form of Anime art is used to get around child pornography laws. In all, the Fandom is a perfect genre for child grooming.

As explained in the book, all movements will have those along for the ride who don’t understand the dynamics of countercultures, subcultures, sects, and cults, and how core ideology drives any given movement. Yes, some involved in the Fandom, perhaps many, are hobby enthusiasts and unwitting participants. That is a common dynamic of all movements whether religious, political, or anti-humanity.

What does the ready acceptance of the Fandom into church say about church leadership? Typical lack of discernment? Indifference? In what reality would a person with ill intent not see an opportunity with such a program centered around children in the church where ignorant trust knows no bounds? Imagine such a program being considered by dopy people with a silly grin and glassed-over eyes saying in a small, still voice, “We are all just sinners saved by grace” as the wolf inside the wolf suit licks his chops. Yes, one furry, whose persona is a wolf, attacked me for dissing his Furry program at a local church and the “rich fellowship” it creates with children. May I venture to ask if anyone is dressing up in a lamb suit?

Of course, the defense will be made regarding the good works the Fandom does for charity and not everyone in the movement is a pervert. Church has a better defense for itself in that regard, at least theoretically, while we wait for the headlines about child abuse to at least slow down.

Finally, church has an opportunity to demonstrate that it has “learned from unfortunate events” by banning the Fandom. It’s a grand opportunity to show that it is security conscious and a movement like the Fandom poses too much risk. Until the church proves it can keep children safe, it doesn’t need to add a movement with the same problem.

Sin, Racism, and Mass Shootings

We sin when we do naughty things, but the Bible  has much more to say about sin. The biblical explanation concerning sin explains a lot that goes on in the world that would ordinarily be perplexing. In the devil’s endeavor to be God’s coequal, or perhaps even superior to God, he created sin, but sin is nobody’s slave. The event (creation of sin) is like a Frankenstein movie where the mad scientist creates something that he cannot control. Sin stands alone as God’s paramount enemy apart from the fallen angels. Curiously, while the debate rages as to whether or not God created evil, the Bible clearly states that sin is the offspring of the devil.

Sin is described as a master that seeks to destroy through condemnation. Sin’s ability to enslave is grounded in condemnation resulting in ongoing deaths ending in eternal death. Sin seeks to exacerbate mortality. Control lust, condemnation, fear, and death are sin’s primary characteristics exemplified by those under its enslavement.

The Bible also states that sin uses desires to tempt and bring about death. Present death on the installment plan can be described as a multifaceted subtraction from wellbeing. What the Bible calls “sinful desires” vary from person to person and can take on many different forms. Sometimes we are suddenly struck with a disturbing thought or desire that may leave us a little shell shocked and wondering what kind of person we really are. That’s sin at work. Self confident people who like themselves are difficult to control. What does sin use to create these desires? That would be a worthwhile study to pursue, but lastly on this point, the perpetual fulfilling (practice) of these desires leads to an increased intensity of the desire coupled with habit. This is what we commonly refer to as an “addiction.”

Christ, in contrast, also presents himself as a master. This is how the Bible explains the reality of all of this in human terms. The sin master pays death wages only, while Christ only pays life wages. Christ is a master that, in specific Bible terminology, enslaves us to righteousness. This also means that those enslaved to sin and those enslaved to righteousness can do good AND bad alike, but in the end, this only determines the degree or amount  of wages paid by each master. It means more or lesser life wages, or more or lesser death wages. Those who belong to Christ through the new birth have the wisdom to discern good desires (the desires of the Spirit) versus sinful desires and the power to say “no” to those desires. We are defined by the desires we have and the practice of them. The conscience created by God in every human (the works of the law written on the heart) born into the world also plays into this but will not be addressed in this post.

Let’s first apply this to racism. Sin, in its endeavor to control, will use ANY excuse to do so. This can certainly include anything different. Sin looks for an opportunity to control in every circumstance; so, if you are different in some way, that equals inferiority which means we need to control you for the betterment of mankind. Since you are inferior, your best contribution to society is to know your place and do what the upper crust of society tells you to do. And in some cases, intermingling with superior races can bring all of civilization to a lower  state of being, and perhaps threaten the very existence of mankind. We call this, “genocide.”

So, we now know that former President Barack Obama is a hardcore racist. How do we know that? He commissioned an artist to do his formal presidential portrait who has painted depictions of angry looking black women beheading white women. It goes without saying that this is totally unacceptable. Where is the collective outrage? A populous that has been effectively shamed will keep its silence. Hence, despots can do anything while the commoners best know their place and keep silent.

But is so-called “racism” the core problem? Not really, what this really means is that Obama is a despot at heart. His racism only seeks to control by shaming white people because some were despots in the past. This whole Black Lives Matter and other business like it is an overt attempt to control through shaming and condemnation. Does it work? Well, sure it does; Obama shamed his way into being elected by guilty white people. So, apparently, it is someone else’s turn to enslave others. And what is the final solution for those unable to fulfill sin’s control-lust? Murder, of course, as depicted by other paintings from Obama’s selected artist.

I am a big fan of TV shows like Forensic Files etc. A common theme you hear often in these shows concerns motives. Often, the culprits themselves confess that they murdered in order to experience the ultimate control high; deciding whether or not someone lives or dies. In other cases, they murder because someone would not submit to their wishes. Shunned lovers who can longer control a girlfriend or boyfriend also make the cut; “If I can’t have you, nobody will!” And in many cases, killers confess that they wanted to know what it felt like to kill someone. In other words, they DESIRED to fulfill that particular curiosity.

Do I think this dynamic is largely behind the mass shootings that we see in our day? I do. Frustrated with a life spiraling out of their own control, they partake in the ultimate act of control. When these people enter a no gun zone armed to the teeth, they feel like god; at that moment, they decide who lives and who dies. Do I think they are willing to trade in their whole lives in order to be god for maybe 20 minutes? I do.

None of these current events surprise me or perplex me; it is merely the dynamic of sin’s control lust at work. And if you look for it, you can see it at work in every level and venue of life.

“And I might mention the following: her video reeks of an adult putting a subject in cartoonish terms so the great unwashed children of the world can understand it. The motif of the video alone exposes her elitist mentality.”

Folks, the pro/anti-vax controversy is a brutal arena. In the arena of discussion, neither side is taking prisoners. Why is this issue so volatile? Answer: for the same reason present-day politics is volatile.

People in general, want to be free to exercise commonsense. Unfortunately, elitism has a strong tendency to dismiss commonsense based on a person’s cultural status. This goes past a person’s educational status and flirts with the idea that commoners are unable to discern reality itself. In other words, commonsense is rejected as an intrinsic ability within humanity to know things.

On the one hand, elitist presuppositions grounded in Platonist ideology underpinning much of Western thought has little patience with serfs not accepting elitist unction. How strongly do the elitists feel about this? Look at history; no pain of death has been spared those who dare question the ruling class. On the other hand, the common folks have little patience with freedom to apply commonsense being hindered, and the suggestion that intrinsic commonsense is not an epistemological reality.

If a peasant’s child goes into convulsions right after receiving vaccinations, and those peasants who know of it are getting their children taken away for refusing to get their children vaccinated, that’s when pitchforks are used for things other than throwing hay.

The internet is a potent tool for sharing the experiences of people worldwide, and when people see a recurring trend, they take note of it. The internet enables the public at large to connect dots.

Let’s talk about some commonsense stuff regarding medicine. Even though I am only a MAC (state tested medication aide), I can apply some commonsense to what I know about the administration of medicine in nursing facilities. It is evident, in my field, that one size doesn’t fit all. There are these things called, allergic reactions, intolerance, adverse effects, right dose, right time, right drug, right route, and I could state more. A lot of drugs are substitutes for other drugs that target the same medical problem because a medication for the same condition may, well, kill the resident. These standards apply to vitamins, minerals, antibiotics, OTC, and every other kind of drug.

But regarding vaccines, one size fits all? Sorry Doc, I may be a lowly MAC compared to your medical degree, but you are obviously full of it. And, if you and your elitist buddies are behind legislation that abducts children of people who question that logic, I might even state my opinion in stronger terms.

Locally,  a pediatrician  named Nicole Baldwin attempted to debunk concerns about vaccinations with a short video on Tik Tock. The blowback was significant enough to make her the latest martyr in efforts to calm the great unwashed herd of commoners. Her great struggle was reported on CBS This Morning, a bastion of liberal elitist wisdom. Curiously, the same kind of red herrings, straw men, and doublespeak are used in political venues against those who dare believe in man’s ability to self-rule.

For example, “There is no link between vaccines and Autism.” First, the so-called “antivaxx” crowd is not saying Autism is the only issue or it is Autism per se, but Autism-like symptoms and other symptoms such as convulsions. Secondly, there are no links between the two; so what? There are no direct biological or physiological links between allergic reactions to medications and unique physiology of the individual. For the most part, adverse and allergic reactions to medicines can only be determined by observation. This is why MACs are not allowed to give the first dose of a medication, but are responsible for observing the resident for a period of time after the administration of the drug by an RN or LPN.

Here is my point: the dialogue used by the medical community in this debate is disingenuous and endowed with truth as authority. It’s the same verbiage and deceptive forms of communication used by elitists in the political realm. And it’s like the police saying a traffic accident never occurred because there is no direct link between a cause for the accident and the mangled car with the injured driver inside. Furthermore, the injured person sitting in the car wasn’t necessarily injured by the accident. Really? Even though harm is taking place at the time of some vaccinations, the two are unrelated. A person begins choking while eating a sandwich, but the sandwich is dismissed as the cause. It’s nonsense.

And I might mention the following: her video reeks of an adult putting a subject in cartoonish terms so the great unwashed children of the world can understand it. The motif of the video alone exposes her elitist mentality.

I will summarize and conclude this post with the comment I left on her FaceBook page:

As a STNA and MAC attending nursing school I find the medical community’s collectivist attitude towards this problem very sad. The experience of many parents tells us that something is going wrong with a small percentage of children who get vaccinated. When parents experience their children suddenly becoming cognitively disabled or going into convulsions within hours of receiving vaccines, you can bet they are going to be skeptical of vaccines.

And by the way, 46% of parents are not skeptical of vaccines because they are uneducated serfs, they are skeptical because of what parents are experiencing, and that is what they are finding on the internet, NOT the mere beliefs of dumb hillbillies. I find the attitude that a few children are expendable for the collective good of most children detestable [viz, “The benefits outweigh the risks.” I suppose, if it isn’t your child!].

EVERY child matters. Again, the notion that the internet is a conduit for misinformation by the great unwashed and uneducated is an excuse for not addressing what is actually happening.

What people are experiencing is the issue, not superstition. I think it a little arrogant to tell people their experiences are invalid because of research. I am no doctor, but you only need to be an STNA to know doctors are wrong often and don’t know everything. Trust me, I have many firsthand testimonies.

Paul Dohse #fundie #kinkshaming paulspassingthoughts.com

It has been some time since I posted on the Furry Fandom sect. I have written 17 articles that are prequels to my forthcoming book, Fake Fandom. I am a very busy person, older, and trying to redeem wasted years, so, I pick my projects carefully.

The big struggle with this project was the Furry motif, which exudes harmlessness while the extreme opposite is true; this is a deeply evil and dangerous sect, particularly for children. It is the epitome of a Trojan horse.

The similarities in dealing with Furries and my experience researching cults and spiritual tyranny are uncanny. Furries, exactly like spiritual tyrants, attempt to control their adversaries through condemnation. If you can destroy a person’s self-esteem (a truthful self-assessment) and self-confidence, you can control them. Present Furry attacks on me are, therefore, very familiar and attacks I have been dealing with for more than ten years.

And remember, when people attempt to condemn you through various and sundry accusations, the catalog comes from their own life. They accuse you of faults they are familiar with because they are guilty of those faults themselves. What people accuse you of is a window into their own lives when the goal is to neutralize you through condemnation. Since they don’t know you, they must choose accusations they are familiar with.

FYI, even if everything they are hounding me with is true, I am still going to publish the book and let the folks decide. I have stopped responding to the attacks and are merely compiling the rants for data purposes. These misfits are emailing me with, on average, four different aliases, and even posing as researchers from other countries. It is a completely unhinged mosaic.

Hopefully, the book will aide child advocates where applicable. Presently, when Furries come up in situations regarding children, the issue is dismissed as irrelevant. Even Dr. Phil McGraw deems the sect as a “hobby.” This view of Furries flows from a stunning ignorance that supplies cover for imminent danger to children.

In considering the threat level, I was on the fence for some time, but thanks to the many who have contacted me with information and offers to assist in research, I now understand the depth of this threat. I look forward to working with them to warn others.

“Please note, there is no such thing as hypocrisy in politics; all positions flow from ideology based on the political presupposition. Besides, who are you oh little person of the great unwashed to judge what is hypocrisy or not hypocrisy?”

Elitism is a result of sin, but this is a political post and not a religious one. Nevertheless, let me say that Elitism began in the garden. The serpent came to Eve and claimed to have more knowledge about God than she had. It can also be said that, clearly, the serpent claimed to have more knowledge about reality than Eve. Hence, caste was first introduced, and the serpent was presenting himself as a mediator between her and God. In addition, the serpent was claiming to have knowledge that would benefit her personally.

From this, Elitism was born. Those who have the superior knowledge should rule over those who have less knowledge because those with less knowledge are detrimental to humanity because of their ignorance. Socrates defined sin as ignorance.

Fundamentally, there are two different caste systems: freewill and predetermined. The latter dominated human history until the Enlightenment Era. Those of the Elitist class who should rule over the great unwashed are preordained in some way—usually by lineage. The British Crown is a good example.

America is based on a caste system, but there is a very important distinction that determines how free the people will be under such a caste system. In the American system, Elitism can be earned no matter who you are. This is freedom of upward mobility; this is the freewill caste system. In America, if you don’t like being treated like a loser by the Elitists, you can pursue an education and become one yourself. Remember, it is knowledge based; the perceived knowledge is the moral rule.

Better than both of these is Individualism. This is an organic body concept. To the degree that every individual is the best individual they can be, ALL people benefit. This would seem rather obvious. Think of a body and all of its cells. The 100 trillion cells that make up your body vary greatly in regard to the role they play, and their depth of intelligence and function. Even the most simple cells are well beyond being fully understood by scientists. To the extent that each cell is as healthy as it can be, human wellbeing is determined. In an individualist society, contributing to the success of every individual benefits all of the other individuals. America’s representative republic is based on Individualism while freewill caste is an unfortunate residual product of it.

Communism and Socialism flow from a predeterminant caste system. That is, those of the Elitist class are predetermined. There is no upward mobility for those not preselected. Elitism is defined by predeterminant caste.

Please note, there is no such thing as hypocrisy in politics; all positions flow from ideology based on the political presupposition. Besides, who are you oh little person of the great unwashed to judge what is hypocrisy or not hypocrisy?

Now, let’s put some feet on this. Nancy Pelosi is supposedly a hypocrite because she is for gun control but always protected by a heavily armed security detail that doesn’t have to abide by any gun laws like gun-free zones etc. That’s not hypocrisy at all, but merely a result of her Elitist ideology. According to her worldview; it makes perfect sense.

First, the great unwashed cannot be armed in case the Elitists have to do something they know is best for the whole of society that much of society might disagree with. Along with that comes necessary collateral damage that is outweighed by the greater good. Sure, you may have to watch your family being ravaged during a home invasion while defenseless, but that is unfortunate collateral damage for the greater good. In contrast, if an Elitist is lost, the world has less knowledge and leadership to protect the great unwashed from themselves. The absolute cardinal sin is the belief that individuals know what’s best for themselves. This, in the eyes of Elitists, puts all of society at risk.

In addition, the sole purpose of the individual is to serve the needs of the Elitists; in fact, their total life value is based on their ability to do so. The following excerpt makes this point aptly:

Sharon Osbourne is facing backlash after revealing she forced her former assistant into a burning building before firing him.

On a recent episode of the BBC game show, Would I Lie To You?, Sharon, 67, recalled that she and Ozzy, 71, were home for Christmas one year when their house became engulfed in flames from a candle they were gifted for the holiday.

“This alarm was ringing and ringing,” The Talk host said. “A fire alarm. I sent him [Ozzy] down. And so he went down, and suddenly I hear my name being called. ‘Sharon, Sharon, help me!’ “

“I went downstairs and there he was in the living room and his arm was on fire,” Sharon continued. “He had a sling on. And half his hair was all on fire.”
After noting that Ozzy’s assistant was still sleeping during the crisis, Sharon said that she used a magazine to try and stop the fire on Ozzy’s shirt and hair, but to no avail.

“So then outside there was a fountain,” she explained. “I pushed Ozzy out and then the arm and his hair stopped. And then I think ‘Right, where is that assistant?’ So I go into the guest house and he’s going, ‘Everything Alright?’ and I’m like ‘No, house is on fire. Get out, help. Go in and get the paintings out.’ “

“There were dogs, and I said ‘You must go in and find the dogs,’ ” she recalled telling the assistant. “So he did get the dogs, and the fire engines arrive. Very lovely people. They came and they had this oxygen for the assistant. So then I said to him ‘How very dare you, you work here, and you get more paintings out right now.’ “

“I took the mask and I put it on my dog,” Sharon said, which earned applause and laughter from the judges and audience. She then explained the moment she decided to fire her husband’s assistant.

“After this terrible night, he was not talking to me,” Sharon recalled. “And Ozzy and I were counting everything and we were laughing and laughing and he goes ‘I don’t see what’s funny about any of this. I think I am going to have damaged lungs.’ “

“So then, I just said ‘If you don’t think that’s funny, do you think this is funny?’ And he said, ‘What?’ And I said, ‘You’re fired,’ ” Sharon said, again receiving applause and laughter from the studio.

When it came time for the judges to guess if the shocking story actually occurred, all three predicted it was true — which Sharon confirmed.
Following the revelation, fans flocked to social media to express their disappointment in Sharon.

A rep for Sharon did not immediately return PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Though many are shocked by this testimony from Osbourne, they shouldn’t be; the sum and substance of an individual’s life is determined by their ability to serve the Elitists according to their worldview.

Be sure of this: Elitist rule will rob us of all freedom if we allow it to have political power; Elitism is freedom’s greatest enemy.

Paul M. Dohse #wingnut paulspassingthoughts.com

Let’s talk about root causes. All political victories start with your base being united and activated. The Democrat party is girded by leftist ideology; without leftist support, the party will collapse. Now, what is the crux of leftism? It’s self-esteem built on being better than others. It’s self-esteem and self-worth based on how many people worship you because you have what they don’t. People in general don’t realize there is a minority of people in the world seeking to be gods in their own right. As much as I like movies, movie stars have a god complex. Obviously. As much as I like many musicians, most have a god complex. As much as I like sports, many have a god complex. Journalists think they are the gatekeepers of truth and justice; that is, according to their own version.

And politicians primarily protect their right to godhood. There is a reason most musicians are politically left. There is a reason most athletes are politically left. There is a reason why most movie stars are politically left. There is a reason why movie stars are called before congress as expert witnesses on a variety of social issues which on its face makes no sense at all. They can act, or sing, and that makes them an expert on climate change?

And regardless of what seems to be the case, you never criticize God because any criticism of God must be based on a misunderstanding because our universal presupposition is that God is love and perfection. I agree with that; but such is hardly true of the press. We must ask ourselves why Trump’s “fake news” mantra is deemed sacrilegious by journalist icons like Chris Wallace despite overt and incessant misrepresentations of truth by the press. Obviously, the press deems itself above being questioned; to do so is a violation of the First Amendment via debate and contrary ideas which has never had anything to do with free speech. The opposite is true.

The essense of sin is a desire to control others. Sin is the basis for caste systems that dominate the world. Another angle on this is self-worth based on comparing yourself to others rather than being the best YOU that you can be.

Please note: leftist ideolgy is predicated on others being less. Self-worth is predicated on where you are located on the caste social ladder. Individualism makes all of that irrelevant. Individualism seeks its purpose in self-assessment that is true, earned, honorable, and pleasing to God; leftist ideology is predicated on being worshiped. It is predicated on being a legend in your own mind. The shortcut to all of that is being a victim; self-pity is not only self-worship, but a way to get worship from others on the cheap.

Trump, as an individualist, has committed the unpardonable sin. He is actually working to enable the little people to be the best they can be. In contrast, according to leftist ideology, the little people are preordained to worship the elite. And the best way to injure an individualist is to destroy his or hers legacy. “You didn’t build that.” Individualists want to be remembered by their truthful accomplishments and the example they set for others after them. They are purpose-driven.

The Democrats must satisfy their base, and we now know why their base was rabid over Trump being impeached. Rather than stating numerous examples such as what the actor Rob Reiner tweeted, I will give the thumbnail:

“Donald Trump will forever be known as the only third President in American history to be impeached.”

Bingo. That’s it; the goal was to inflict the ultimate injury. A political cartoon also shows Trump at the cleaners with mud on his suit labeled, “impeachment” and the clerk telling him, “that isn’t going to come out.” Again, bingo. My reply to the cartoon which appeared on Twitter follows:

“And that was the whole point of why they did it knowing that the stigma of impeachment is WHAT [impeachment, period, the big “P”] and not WHY especially in a low information society. They were going to find a reason to impeach him and when you have the majority it can be for eating a ham sandwich. Sad. Petty. Evil.”

The tweet was pulled down shortly thereafter and I am unable to find the cartoon.

This isn’t about Trump at all: he’s just the lightening rod for the whole issue; the collective rise of individuals leads to elitism and their lust for godhood being diminished. Individualism is the primary nemesis of caste.

And caste must confiscate every pursuit of individual liberty and happiness and demand that it be burned on its alter as a living sacrifice. And at some point, we the people must question our funding of these religions for our own entertainment.

While we celebrate their gifts, what they really want is the surrender of our right to exist other than what our existence contributes to their worship…which is our reasonable service in their eyes.

So, I got an email from some Furry guy (maybe a guy, who really knows?) over the weekend from Ireland (again, who really knows?). The Furry, as they proclaim themselves, “subculture” is fighting back against my “slander” and “he” pointed me to several links and even a video. Through all of this, and following the links to other online links, I am very surprised to find the degree of effort to discredit me.

Yes, I have been exposed. I am a “Calvinist pastor” with multiple criminal records. Who knew? I am also a religious Fundamentalist as well. Apparently, a Furry listed many of my articles on an anti-fundi website so I could be tagged with the label in their referencing. I have also been falsely identified with an online identity/handle/avatar that is featured in the video being assassinated at point blank range with an assault rifle. And, where I live was supplied in the video via google maps. Sweet bunch.

Nevertheless, like all of these correspondences, they are a treasure trove of information and data. I am being accused of characterizing Furries based on a “minority” that is aggressively excommunicated from the community, because, you know, they are really a good community that contributes to many good causes.  In article number twelve I outline the various bizarre fetishes that are commonplace in the Fandom (and even part of their official dictionary) and their outcry against those who criticize such behavior calling them “bigots.” It is the only video I have done in the series and discredited because I was apparently “drunk” when I did it. Don’t tell Susan I have been drinking. So, let’s sum up: I am a Calvinist fundamentalist pastor alcoholic with multiple criminal records. It hurts really bad to be judged by those who partake in fetishes like “crinkling.” What’s that? Well, animals don’t use a bathroom, so instead, since the animal is part human, wears a Depends and puts it to use. At one conference they disposed of the used Depends on car windshields.

However, they apparently draw the line somewhere. Interesting. It is also interesting that Furries can be excluded from the community when it is made up of those with factitious identities 100%. The so-called excommunicated can merely re-assimilate with a different identity and they do often. Furthermore, I have plenty of reasons to believe their only sin is getting caught.

The emailer also denied that the Fandom is a sex-driven cult. Then, per the normal, one of the fursuiters who contributed to the video is introduced in a sexually provocative manner. This is a fact: the sect is obsessed with sex in all varieties imaginable and then some.

You know my method of research. I collect the data, and build that data on the foundation of the definitive. What do I know definitively about this sect? First, I agree with them, it is a “subculture.” But please note; on the other hand, they claim to be a harmless fandom of the hobby sort. That’s clearly a contradiction. The Corvette Club is not a subculture.

Secondly, they are of a contra normative reality worldview based on anthropomorphism.

Thirdly, it is all but totally sex-driven.

Fourthly, the sect (another term for subculture) has demonstrable tendencies towards violence.

Fifth, participants are primarily narcissistic, and secondarily defined by bi-polar mental illnesses. The studies that concluded this will be cited in the book.

Sixth, the sect is dominated by the socially awkward.

Seventh, Peter Pan Syndrome is also prevalent within the sect.

Eighth, they zealously evangelize children.

Ninth, the sect is huge in regard to numbers and worldwide.

Tenth, criminal activity within the sect is disproportionate to the norm.

Eleventh, overall, little is known about the sect because of its laborious efforts towards secrecy.

And twelve, pedophilia is rampant and well documented.

lastly, what is the objective of the book? First, and foremost, to educate children advocates in all fields. Secondly, to educate parents.

It should be no surprise in the present political climate that many are calling for the banning of the Confederate Flag and all Confederate monuments. Why? Well, but of course, these all symbolize racism. NASCAR driver Darrell “Bubba” Wallace Jr. is even calling for NASCAR to ban the Confederate flag from all NASCAR events and promotions. The U.S. Navy is seeking a ban as well.

So, let’s think about this. If the Confederate flag represents racism, and the Northern states defeated the Confederacy in the civil war, why are people burning Old Glory? Answer: eliminating the Confederate flag from memory results in the question no longer being begged; eliminating the Confederate flag is an important first step in eliminating the Union flag and what it symbolizes. They are seeking to eliminate the historical antithesis that defines what America is all about: freedom and justice for ALL.

The real beef is with the concept of self-rule despised by Socialism. The people decide what liberty and justice for all means, not the government. Americans, especially young ones always looking for something new (not that Socialism is new) are easily deceived by such notions. Why? They think Socialism will just tweak some negative things existing in our representative republic. Per human history over and over and over again, the useful idiots that partake in the transformation are shocked by the results. The transformation of America would not result in a better America, but the elimination of the American idea altogether. Trust me, liberty and justice for all according to America is much different than liberty and justice for all according to Socialism.

In the quest to eliminate American self-rule, it is critical that American history is eliminated. The Confederate flag is an important reminder that America fought a brutal war to end slavery. The Obamas, as a family, have been very vocal regarding their disdain for the Confederate flag. Malia Obama ripped the Confederate flag from a protestor’s hands in Chicago. Full stop: on the other hand, at a ceremony where the American (Union) flag was a central focus, Michelle Obama was caught whispering to Barak, “All this for a damn flag.”

Question: if liberals successfully transform this country, do you really think there will be no flag? At least the old liberals of the 60s were honest and waved communist flags; we are now pining away in wishing for their return.

Here is the thing about chaos that has been foisted upon the American public recently: it skews the obvious. Um, remember the freedom of speech thing? Now we have the epitome of middle American patriotism like Bubba Wallace calling for the elimination of the Confederate flag? Really, Malia Obama ripping the Confederate flag from the hands of a protestor should say all that needs to be said. With leftists, any speech they disagree with is the proverbial yelling of “fire!” in a movie theater. It is the dangerous act of thinking mankind can be free without destroying the world.

With all of this said, I believe, like many, that the Confederate flag has come to represent American audacity and boldness rather than slavery. Secession from the Union was a bold move border-lining on the berserk. Keep in mind, with many Southerners, slavery wasn’t the issue per se, but the idea that the government was trying to tell them how they could live their lives. Be sure of this: that is closer to why the Confederate flag is prevalent in venues like NASCAR. It’s the idea of courage and the freedom to drive 185 MPH while 3 feet away from another car if I damn-well want to. Bubba needs to sit back and drink a few cold ones while thinking about these things.

I highly recommend a Confederate flag movement. If it survives, it’s a line of defense against what the leftists are really seeking to destroy; Old Glory, and everything it represents.

But meanwhile, we could use some good old fashioned American defiance that the Confederate flag represents rather than the submission to leftist ideas being sought.

The Plaquenil Scandal: The Democrat Party is Knowingly Murdering Their Own Members | Paul's Passing Thoughts #conspiracy #wingnut paulspassingthoughts.com

“The death of Democrat Americans is necessary collateral damage to achieve the greater good: getting rid of Trump at all cost…Democrat celebrities have spoken openly and often about the insignificance of Republican lives, but we should consider the newly revealed democide of the Democrat Party.”

The Democrat Party has now taken its place in the infamous history of socialist and communist democide. The greatest example is China’s Great Leap Forward between 1958 and 1962 when the economic policy of that socialist movement killed between 18 and 45 million people.

Regarding the present Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) controversy concerning the medication’s use to fight the Coronavirus pandemic, the evidence is in, and it is overwhelming. Three parties are guilty of outright murder: doctors who have book knowledge and lack commonsense, the Democrat Party, and doctors who hold to collectivist ideology.  Little space will be used in this post to address doctors who strain at a gnat and swallow a camel (the first party) as they pretty much speak for themselves.

First, we will look at the overwhelming and obvious proof that (as everyone knows) Plaquenil is effective in curing Coronavirus and is also a prophylactic. Fact is, this drug is a weapon that could likely stop this pandemic in the United States dead in its tracks. As Dr. Stephen Smith, founder of The Smith Center for Infectious Diseases and Urban Health, said recently, “I think this is the beginning of the end of the pandemic. I’m very serious.”

Yet, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and on Trump’s C-19 team, said the following on Face the Nation last week: “You know, as I’ve said many times, Margarate, the data are really just at best suggestive. There have been cases that show there may be an effect and there are others to show there’s no effect. So I think in terms of science, I don’t think we could definitively say it works.”

That, my friends, is a blatant lie, and I strongly suspect that he knows it.

The very definition of mental illness follows: it is an inability to deal with, or cope with reality. As will be documented in the book according to those who followed Mowrer, guilt is the lynchpin of mental illness. Guilt leads to all kinds of fear, and fear/anxiety is present in EVERY mental illness.** Conditions such as schizophrenia are attempts to replace a guilty party; namely, yourself, with someone else. If you are “Bob,” you didn’t do it, your other personality, “Joe,” is guilty. The book will show case histories of people cured of schizophrenia by dealing with Bob’s guilt, and thus making Joe unnecessary. Dr. Jay Adams, the father of biblical counseling which was inspired by Mowrer though Mowrer was irreligious, called schizophrenia “a lie” and was able to help many with that problem accordingly. Of course, this does not include physiological problems that cause hallucinations and affect the brain in other ways.

** This is not the same as physiological problems that affect the brain.

Life has taught me some things about death. When I lost my grandmother some years ago, I found that I was unable to accept it. So, I pondered the situation and came to a conclusion: it is ok not to accept death in general or the death of someone close to you; because God doesn’t accept death either. Death is not OK with God; he hates it, and according to the Bible, it is the “last enemy that will be defeated.” When someone close to you dies, a piece of you goes with them; you will now have to find your new normal. You are now less than you were; you must re-calibrate, that’s just the way it is. Death is always a metaphysical subtraction from life.

Death is not a part of life; that’s a bunch of baloney.

There are not worse things in life than death; that’s a bunch of baloney also.

I have seen people in conditions that are so bad that you couldn’t even begin to imagine what it would be like; yet, they hang on to life anyway. Why? According to their testimonies, they are afraid to die. I know people who have a very limited life but want to make the best of what they have, and my career is all about helping them to do that. As long as they are in the fight, I am in it with them.

People hang on to life in hope that they will find some peace about death. They hope they will find definitive answers about death that will enable them to travel through that gate. In our culture that’s difficult because of propaganda spread by those who sell salvation. In geographies where people live from hand to mouth, you can always count on the following: popes, pastors, and self proclaimed apostles are living in splendor. Salvation is big business. What will a peasant pay to save their soul? Everything, including their last penny for one meal.

One of the biggest selling points of religion follows: the church is a sanctuary city from an angry God who wants to punish you in hell for every sin you ever committed. Our view of God and our perception of him is almost helplessly distorted. Christ is presented as a second God of grace that saves us from a God of wrath. This is behind the Christo-centric theology of the church which presents itself as the “under-shepherd” of Christ. The church sells the idea that individual reason and logic cannot understand reality; hence, what we read in our Bibles contradicts what we hear in church, and the result is total confusion about who God is.

Fear of death is compounded because of confusion about God. Fear is the church’s primary selling point. John Calvin and Martin Luther said so.

Hebrews Chapter 2:

Now when it says “all things,” it means nothing is left out. But we have not yet seen all things put under their authority [that is, angels]. 9What we do see is Jesus, who for a little while was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us [“pas” means “all” viz, he suffered death for all], he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace [love], Jesus tasted death for everyone. 10God, for whom and through whom everything was made, chose to bring many children into glory. And it was only right that he should make Jesus, through his suffering, a perfect leader, fit to bring them into their salvation.

11So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters. 12For he said to God,

“I will proclaim your name to my brothers and sisters.
I will praise you among your assembled people.”

13He also said,

“I will put my trust in him,”
that is, “I and the children God has given me.”

14Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had [past tense] the power of death. 15Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.

16We also know that the Son did not come to help angels; he came to help the descendants of Abraham. 17Therefore, it was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters, so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then he could offer a sacrifice [ONE] that would take away [not cover, or temporarily take away] the sins of the people. 18Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested.

NLT [My comments in brackets].

In the Bible; sin, fear, and death are synonymous. If one is still under sin, they are still in slavery to the fear of death. Note, in this passage, that the only thing that frees us from the slavery of fear is Christ’s death…period. Christ’s death makes it possible for us to be God’s literal children, and Christ’s brothers and sisters. We become literal family members of God. Christ went before us to free us from the fear of death.

Note what is missing here: Christ’s imputation of perfect law-keeping. If that is necessary, we are necessarily still under the slavery of fear and death. Perfect law-keeping, no matter who keeps it, is not what frees us from death’s slavery, only kinship does.

Without fear of death, religion has no product to sell, and there are other things that are very bad for business as well: the idea that God wants to save everyone; the idea that people are able to choose God to be free from the slavery of fear, the doctrine of the Rapture, and the idea that God hates death and gave his only Son to vanquish it from reality forever.

The stakes of life are highest in regard to the death issue, and reason’s logical conclusions regarding death and God are the only things that will assure us, and…

…that’s bad for business as well.

This post concerns the latest trending drama in the Southern Baptist Convention. A Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary professor was fired for his position on LGBTQ. By the way, the cultural debate/discussion is underway that argues for the “P” to be added to that as well. That would be pedophilia, and I assume zoophilia (Z, [bestiality] since there is already a “B” in there) will also be forthcoming in the near future. Hey, a sexual preference is a sexual preference; who’s to judge, right?

Paul M. Dohse #wingnut paulspassingthoughts.com

As a lifelong Republican and a Berry Goldwater conservative when I was nine years old, I have always been politically frustrated. I grew up watching the Vietnam fiasco unfold on the evening news and knew it was a humanitarian travesty that utterly rejected life value. No American politician has sought forgiveness for throwing away 50,000 American lives for a war with no clear objective except lame attempts to reason with Communists. Even at my young age, I knew Communism couldn’t be reasoned with.

I watched Jimmy Carter get elected. I couldn’t believe it. I remember a week before an election a good friend sensing my angst put his hand on my shoulder and said, “Paul, Paul, Paul, relax, the American people may be a little stupid, but they aren’t stupid enough to elect Bill Clinton.” I didn’t believe him one bit; I knew better. Then came Barak Obama; twice. I am still amazed at how the framers of the American Constitution had it all figured out; despite Obama’s overt attempt to destroy our Republic, we were spared due to the system the framers put in place.

Now we have Donald Trump, and an election coming in about ten months, but this time, my gut tells me this will be different. Would the American people, regardless of the economic statistics etc., elect an Elizabeth Warren over Donald Trump? In the past, before Trump, I wouldn’t hesitate to say, “Absolutely, yes.” Not this time, again, my gut tells me this will be different, but why?

Looking back, if you think about it, at least in my lifetime, no Democrat has beat a Republican in a landslide. Whenever a Democrat wins, it is either by a slim or moderate victory. This, along with what Trump has exposed, has me pondering.

Trump, regardless of whether or not you would like to have a beer with him, knew something a lot of Americans knew deep down but didn’t want to admit: nether party has been representing the American people for a long time. As an international business person, he knew politicians, for the most part, are elitists who believe they are entitled to unlimited wealth coming from the labor of the little people. When he saw crony capitalism on the precipice of destroying America he intervened.

Different healthcare systems for politicians and the little people; a two-tier justice system; and guns for protecting politicians, but not for the little people. The list goes on and on. And both parties are guilty and have been guilty for a long time; the Republicans are only a little less guilty where complicit.

Two things, primarily, have made the Trump phenomenon possible: the information age and Trump’s genius. The information age has made it possible for Trump to take his message directly to the American people. Elitism’s control of information has been totally decimated. Trump is also smart enough to play politics by a totally different set of rules.

In considering all of this, I am not so sure Americans are totally stupid, but rather stayed home at election time because they sensed no real difference between Republicans and Democrats. In other words, they lost hope in the American political system. Trump, though genius, has a funny way of stating things: he said the political system is rigged; that means Republicans and Democrats have had the same basic status qua agenda for a long time, but the people understood what he was saying. At his inaugural speech, with the brunt of all American political representation sitting behind him, Trump accused all of forgetting the American people in exchange for their own interests and promised to be different. And he kept those promises.

American politicians don’t keep promises. That’s why, until now, election turnout was people wanting free stuff being led by idealists who have never worked for anything in their lives on one side, and eternal optimists on the other, and inactive political pessimism in-between.

Trump is the political savior that no one thought would ever come. The politically disenfranchised initially popped corn and watched the Republican debates purely for entertainment. At least we could watch the politicians get a few pies in their faces for all the misery they have caused us. At least we had someone we could vote for to flip the other politicians the bird. Trump was catharsis—little more. No one really thought a political messiah would come.

Then, as we all know, strange things started happening and hope temtped us. Taking back the Republican party rather then running as a third party candidate was part of Trump’s strategy. Everything was against him, yet, he has prevailed. Indeed, he is a strange character, but it is a ridiculous notion to think any normal person could pull this off.

So, are Americans basically stupid, or basically smart enough to know when voting is a waste of time? In the process of catharsis, was political hope accidently discovered? Are we dumbfounded to discover the process actually still works if we have someone crazy enough to make it work?

This time around, my gut tells me it’s the latter. Trump has exposed the whole rotten bastardizing of the intended system. I believe a vast number of people who previously lost hope and interest in the system are energized. Hope in the American political system has returned.

They were never stupid, but rather smart enough to know that voting was a waste of time. I think that is what Trump has taught me; at least I hope so.

The news stopped me dead in my tracks mentally. A giant mural of teen “environmental activist” Greta Thunberg is going up in San Francisco’s Union Square. Recently, Leonardo DiCaprio praised Thunberg as a “leader of our time” following a day of just chillin’ out together. Shockingly, she has even spoken before the UN Assembly and invited to speak at a TED Talk. She is 15 years old.

A fact reality check: in the 1960’s global freezing was going to destroy the world by sometime in the 1980s; it didn’t happen, and frankly, even as adolescents, we knew better. In the 60s the book, Silent Spring was all the rage and required reading in our junior High School Literature class. The thesis of the book follows: for the first time in human history, man had acquired the ability to destroy the world. Hence, the scientific world was divided into to camps: those who improve and empower a society made up of the collective efforts of free individuals, and those scientists who believe that man must be saved from himself by minority elitists. Indeed, presuppositions concerning mankind are central to all of this. Is mankind totally depraved? Is mankind totally unable? In the total depravity of man ideology, whether of secular political ideology or religion, the truly wise are experts in the knowledge that enables the totally depraved to have their best existence according to what has been preordained for them. They are experts in the knowledge that man knows nothing, which is the beginning of wisdom. Supposedly. It is a zero sum life ideology, a kind of nihilism if you will.

But, does man really have the ability to destroy the world? Well, if you look at man’s execution of the most earth-destroying power at his disposal to date, that would be the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. Not only were several thousand survivors walking around in the horrific destruction and death immediately after the blast, but today Hiroshima is a thriving modernized city full of life. It is unlikely that all-out nuclear war in our day would destroy the earth. For sure, it wouldn’t be a picnic for maybe 20 years afterward, but total annihilation of humanity? Unlikely.

The most formidable threat to the earth is a thing we call natural disasters. Man has no way to create the destructive powers of natural disasters and is powerless against them for the most part. Yet, so far, earth has shown restraint in annihilating itself. Of course, environmentalist claim that man’s abuse of nature causes natural disasters. On the one hand, Silent Spring announced the dawning of man’s ability to destroy himself, while on the other hand, he causes natural disasters that have obviously been around since the beginning of creation. Environmentalism and the total inability of man (total depravity) go hand-in-glove. On the one hand, secular scientists like to promote the idea of a very, very old earth unlike religious zealots who tout the idea of a very young earth, yet, nature in its immeasurable powers hasn’t managed to destroy itself or man in more than a billion years. But yet, supposedly, the end is near because of man and the only way of saving mankind is submitting our misguided notion of freedom to the all-knowing elitists.

Past all of that, the Bible is clear on how life as we presently know it comes to an end, and how.

Why do people believe in the environmental movement? Why do factual arguments fall on deaf ears? Answer: because regardless of commonsense facts, like many other things people believe, it’s what they want to believe. The Bible states that people have a propensity towards living by DESIRES. Unfortunately, for the most part, people are desire-driven. This is what drives me absolutely nuts when I am watching Fox News. They have these ideologues on in order to be “fair and balanced.” Regardless of black and white facts, these people answer with totally bankrupt reasoning. Why? Their thinking and reasoning is desire-driven; it’s what they want to believe.

Why do they want to believe it? Answer: fear. Government in general and elitists in particular offer a safety net. People who fear individualism think you stand or fall on your own. It’s a lack of self-confidence, and the total depravity of man ideology rejects self-confidence altogether. People want to play in the sandbox of life, but they want mommy watching from the kitchen window. They don’t trust the goodness of man to help them in times of need, they trust the elitists. Besides, government has the power to take from greedy individuals and give it to whomever might need it…you. Government elitists are Robinhood; they take from the evil rich people and give to the poor. The Bible says to work with your hands so you can give to people in need.

Truth is whatever your fears and desires say it is. Facts don’t determine truth; individual desires determine truth. And your truth along with your bankrupt self-esteem needs a cheerleader; a hero, really, an image in the form of a person. Yes, your argument isn’t facts, it is those great people of the present and past who confirm your beliefs. They are the monuments of what you believe.
