Homosexuality is an abomination to God . They are made thru molestation, not born that way. That's the only way it multiplies . We as American Christians have allow this to spread thru a weak watered down message from the pulpits. Oh where are the national Christian leaders, that will fearlessly stand up for God and His Word!

“Ray you are quite sick minded person. Thank you for telling me how I think and then on that assumption deem me to Hell. Then tell me that the guy who sexually assaulted the 4 year old girl (Wales, UK), chopped her up and disposed of her body in the furnace can go to Heaven because he can 'repent'. Do you know what, I don't want to go to Heaven if it is full of lying repenting rapists and murderers." - Philip W.

Ray Comfort: "It's understandable that you are angered by such a hennas crime. And so you should be. It reveals something about your character. You feel that way, not because you are an animal as a result of evolution. If that was the case, all life is merely the survival of the fittest and what happened to that little girl was simply the lion devouring the baby antelope. Rather, you are made in the image of God, with a sense of right and wrong and a craving for justice when there is evil. Cultivate that indignation, it’s what makes you different from the animals and it’s what makes justice work. Now multiply that anger a million times and you will get a glimpse of the indignation of Almighty God against evil. He is wrath-filled at murderers, rapists, liars, thieves, adulterers, and fornicators, as well as those who hate, lust, covet, etc. Hell is waiting as God's place of just punishment for all who have done evil in His morally pure eyes. That’s why you need a Savior."

Before I was a Christian I was a little confused as to whether or not I should eat animals (not that that stopped me). I was confused because I hadn’t read the human Instruction Book.

When I became a Christian I found the instructions. The Bible told me that cows were made by God to give us meat, milk, cheese, butter [as well as Greek style yogurt with honey—and of course, ice cream]. Cows were also created to give us leather for jackets, coats, bags, belts and high quality shoes.

Sheep were made to give us meat to eat, and wool for sweaters, hats, gloves and carpets. Dogs were created as man’s best friend (after women), the horse of course is for riding, giraffes just stand around for us to be amazed at the incredible creative imagination of God. And cats—well, I guess they‘re for people who don’t like dogs.

Until the world opens the Instruction Book of Holy Scripture it won’t have a clue where it came from, will have no ultimate purpose for existence, nor will it know how to find everlasting life and avoid the damnation of Hell—unless we tell them:

"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:14).

"How do you explain to unbelievers who think that God is hateful etc, the 'violence' and 'slavery' in the Old Testament, that God is loving, just, kind etc?" Jo Lee

This is a hill upon which to die, particularly for the atheist. The argument is that if God can be proven to be evil, then He has no right to judge the world on Judgment Day. If he can prove that God is wicked, then in his own mind, he can justify his darling sins--pornography, lust, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, etc.

It is because he is secretly trying to cover his sins that you will rarely give him an answer with which he agrees. Seldom will you hear, "Wow! I never knew that. That's very helpful. Thank you. I will now seek after God and soften my heart to the gospel."

If you explain the slavery issue he will run to the issue of violence in the Old Testament (or in the New Testament). If you expound the fact that God is extremely violent in His passion for justice, and that “every one of His judgments are righteous and true altogether," you can be sure he will ask about God not healing amputees, or ask who it was who "made" God.

You must keep clear the commission given to you by Jesus--to preach the gospel to every creature. You are not called to defend the character of God any more than a prosecutor needs to defend the character of a judge to a depraved criminal. God's not the one who will be on trial on Judgment Day. He is, so make sure you don’t run down every rabbit trail that he’s designed to take you away from the issue at hand.

For the sake of the person to whom you are speaking, you have to turn the spotlight off the morally perfect Judge. Then you have to turn it onto the deluded, sin-loving, self-deceiving, self-righteous guilty and depraved sinner, who has the insane impudence and outrageous audacity to point his crooked holier-than-thou finger at Almighty God, and accuse Him of sin.

The crazy irony is that if you ask for specificity as what violent acts God supposedly committed, he will probably point to the Noah flood and say that God "drowned” millions of babies. That's when you ask him if the incident really happened. If he says it did, then, as an atheist, he's saying that God is real and He did send the Noah flood. So he's blown his cover—he’s not an atheist. This is exactly what is said in Romans chapter one. Every human being intuitively knows the Creator exists.

If he holds onto to his atheism and says that God doesn't exist and the Bible is full of myths, then why is he upset? There was no flood and no babies drowned. That's like someone being upset because Cinderella’s fairy godmother turned the coach back into a pumpkin because she didn't get back by midnight.

You started the game, so you call the play. Never forget that. When you want to share the gospel with someone you believe in heading for Hell, don't let him go where they want you to go. If he has a sincere question, answer it, but do so with one eye on the cross. That's where you are heading. If you are not sure how to answer questions asked by the unsaved, you will find 200 of the most commonly asked questions in "The Evidence Bible."

A number of people have asked for my thoughts on Spurgeon's, "I do not know why ridicule is to be given up to Satan as a weapon to be used against us, and not to be employed as a weapon against him."

Those who have studied Spurgeon's amazing sermons will know that he often used sanctified humor and sarcasm to drive home powerful truths.

His suggestion that ridicule be used "against him" is probably used in the same way someone might ask, "Why should the devil have all the good music?" It is a general reference to the sinful world...those scripture says are blinded by the god of this world and are taken captive to do his will.

For example, I believe that atheism is "ridiculous" in the truest sense of the word. It should be ridiculed. This is because the belief that "there is no evidence for a god" is indeed intellectual suicide, a deliberate and willful ignorance of God-given common sense.

To call atheism "intellectual" (when the Bible calls the professing atheist nothing but a "fool") or to refer to Darwinian evolution as "scientific," is to heap fuel on their smoldering fires of conceit.

It is like saying a man is intelligent, who puts his precious life in jeopardy by injecting an illicit drug into his bloodstream. He is a fool of the worst kind, and you would do him a favor by saying such to his unthinking face. That may bring him to his senses.

Ray Comfort #fundie facebook.com

Bob Solo asked Ray Comfort: How do you know your relationship with God is real?

Ray Comfort's answer: First, I know He is real because the alternative is to believe the impossibility that nothing created everything. Creation (nature) tells us that there is a Maker. I then know that my relationship with Him is real because He transformed my life in an instant. In a moment I was “born again,” with a deep love for my Creator, when I didn’t give Him one second’s serious thought in the entire 22 years of my godless life. That fact blew me away and 40 years later it still leaves me with my mouth open.

There are many other ways to know that my relationship with Him is real (the dead and dry Bible coming alive, its prophecies substantiating its inspiration, a love for other Christians I didn’t have before, an all-consuming desire to do what pleases God, a hatred for the sin I once loved, etc.) But it all comes down to trust rather than subjectivity, and that childlike trust rests on this immutable biblical foundation: “It is impossible for God to lie.” He is faithful. Start with that premise and you won’t go wrong.

I like what pastor Steven Anderson said, if we want an aid's free Christmas, all we have to do is put Leviticus 20:13 in action and have our government start putting sodomites to death.

===

As for our Government killing sodomites, yes, this is the right way to go. Sodomites are predators and pedophiles who destroy society and harm innocent people. This is what Romans 1 says about them. "Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

===

I am not going to kill anyone, nor am I urging other Christians to kill anyone. I am saying our GOVERNMENT should kill sodomites because they are evil. And yes, they are all pedophiles.

===

I am aware that not everyone who has aids is a sodomite. I am not saying our government should kill everyone who has aids, I am saying our government should kill all sodomites, which would largely reduce the amount of people with aids, and would stop aids from spreading.

===

Pedophiles are not heterosexual, they are bi sexual, which is included in the word "sodomite", The basic fact is that getting ride of sodomites will reduce the amount of aids in the World and will stop them from spreading. I am actually going to leave this conversation up, because I think people can learn from it, but I am not going to allow anymore comments. If you want to talk more you can message us.

===

Oh yea a big difference, that why most pedophiles pray on females right? You also need to realize that just because someone is married and has children does not rule out the fact that they are a sodomite, most sodomites are bi anyway.

Imagine that you have a Petri dish in front of you. Here now is a biological experiment for you to conduct. Make one small drop of water. Begin with nothing in the dish, and don’t use any existing materials.

You will first need to produce hydrogen atoms from nothing, and then oxygen atoms using the same process. Then combine one oxygen atom for every two hydrogen atoms. This could take you some time as there are an estimated 1.67 sextillion molecules of H2O in a drop of water.

Step two—You will need to make an amazingly complex phenomenon called “surface tension.” This gives the water the ability to resist external forces. In other words it will allow certain insects to land on the surface without sinking. The liquid needs to be drinkable, to be able to evaporate, freeze, boil, cook, cleanse, as well as be able to be used for swimming, surfing, waterskiing, ice skating, ice hockey, snow skiing and snowboarding. Also, make it so that it will quench human thirst.

Just this manufacturing of one drop will make you instantly rich and famous, because it will mean an end to droughts, and the billions of acres of dry soils around the world will become fertile and therefore food-producing. It will mean an end to starvation.

Here’s a quick intelligence test for you to do before you start the experiment. Do you believe that water is intelligently designed? If you say that no intelligence was involved in its construction (and yet you haven’t a clue how to begin to make water yourself), where does that leave you on the intelligence scale?

We must always keep in mind the reason so many hate the Bible. This is an important issue to understand, because if the Bible is God’s Word they are accountable for adultery, fornication, etc., for sinful imaginations, and for lust (which scripture says is adultery of the heart). So their hard-nosed agenda is to prove that the God of the Bible is unjust in His judgments, and therefore any thought of Judgment Day and Hell is bogus.

Most are searching after truth about as much as a man dying of thirst searches after salt ("There are none who seeks after God"-- Romans 3:11). They rather want to bolster their case for an "evil" Bible, so they can fortify their worldview with what they think are mistakes, contradictions, atrocities, etc., within its pages.

I noticed that in response to my last post, one atheist came back with his most powerful weapon for the argument that nothing created everything. He linked to the video clip “Why doesn't God heal amputees?”

Good question. Here’s some more: Why doesn't God grow hair on bald heads, make short people tall, make blind people see, replace missing teeth, cut my grass, and find my lost car keys?

And why does He put up with people who ask mindless questions? We don't know. One thing we do know is that He is holy and perfect, and we have to face Him on Judgment Day.

“How pathetic to believe that a personal God would intervene in a school test while letting children in Africa starve and die of Ebola.” Rich Latta

Here are ten things to do to be an atheist:

1. Deny the Book of Genesis--which explains that we live in a “fallen” creation—evidenced by disease, pain, suffering and death. Then complain about how God (who you believe doesn't exist) allows disease, pain, suffering and death.

2. Expect God to feed starving children, while humanity spend trillions of dollars (that could feed starving children) on war, porn, gambling, entertainment, etc., as well as on space exploration--trying to find out what the Book of Genesis already tells us.

3. Ignore the Bible’s instructions on how to contain infectious diseases through quarantine, and complain when it spreads.

4. Believe the scientific impossibility that nothing created everything, and then crown yourself intelligent for believing the impossible.

5. Believe the insanity that nothing is actually something. Then give yourself another intelligence crown.

6. Believe atheist sites that tell you that Einstein, Lincoln, Carl Sagan, Mark Twain and many others were atheists when in truth none of them were so foolish as to embrace atheism.

7. Regularly have fellowship with other atheists to strengthen your faith and to tell each other that you have no beliefs.

8. Go to Christian sites and push your narrow-minded and unthinking views on strangers, as though you were some sort of religious zealot.

9. Sin your wicked little heart out and “enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season,” because in your own mind you have dealt with God and the consequences of sin.

10. Don’t read the book, “You Can Lead an Atheist to Evidence But You Can’t Make Him Think.”

“You've exposed how flawed your logical processes are by suggesting that pedophilia might become social acceptable. Homosexual relationships are between two consenting adults. Children aren't developed enough to consent, so pedophilia is essentially rape. It also can (and very often does) scar the child for life. If you really think homosexuality is comparable to pedophilia, then you're a beast without morals—” Reece Akinrinmade

The LA Times likens pedophilia to homosexuality:

“Like many forms of sexual deviance, pedophilia once was thought to stem from psychological influences early in life. Now, many experts view it as a sexual orientation as immutable as heterosexuality or homosexuality. It is a deep-rooted predisposition — limited almost entirely to men — that becomes clear during puberty and does not change—.”

The Times then quoted Dr. Fred Berlin, head of Johns Hopkins Sexual Behaviors Consultation Unit:

“Other pedophiles are ‘good people who are struggling. They're tortured souls fighting like heck not to do this. We do virtually nothing in terms of reaching out to these folks. We drive it underground.’” [1].

Studies Show Pedophiles are "born that way"
"In studies, pedophiles show signs that their sexual interests are related to brain structure and that at least some differences existed in their brains before birth. For example, pedophiles show greatly elevated rates of non-right-handedness and minor physical anomalies. Thus, although pedophilia should never be confused with homosexuality, pedophilia can be meaningfully described as a sexual orientation." [2].

"A group of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals say it's time to change the way society views individuals who have physical attractions to children." [3].

It's just a matter of time until those who accuse pedophiles of rape will be considered narrow-minded intolerant beasts who are filled with hate-speech. Moral relativism is a predictable slippery downward path.

History is our teacher, if we will listen.

“If that were true [that I have a God-given conscience], my conscience would match the morality of the Bible, but it doesn't. Would your innate morality tell you to keep the Sabbath holy, if you had never heard of the Bible?” Madeleine Tudor

Conscience can easily be silenced. Many dull its voice and commit adultery and theft without a sense of guilt. Others even rape and murder and have no remorse. However, your question about the Sabbath is a good one.

I’m sure that you know that ignorance of the law is no excuse. You can violate civil law without knowing it and still be prosecuted, and the same applies with the moral Law. You may be ignorant of the fact that because God gave you your life, He requires that you give Him back one day in seven. But your ignorance of the Law is no excuse. Did you know that we are commanded to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength? Have you done that? It gets even worse. God’s Law commands that we be morally perfect (see Matthew 5:48).

Now you know the Law. Now you know how much you have sinned against God by violating the First of the Ten Commandments. Add to that lying, stealing, blasphemy, adultery, plus the many sins of the heart that God sees--such as lust, selfishness, hatred, greed, envy, etc., and you will suddenly see your need of God’s mercy. Once you have His forgiveness through trust in Jesus, you will have everlasting life given to you as a free gift (see Romans 6:23).

"Why does God command us not to kill, yet why did He command so many killings in the Old Testament?”

God never commits murder. All of His judgments are flawlessly judicial--they are "righteous and true altogether." His declaration of the death sentence upon the whole of humanity--"The soul that sins shall die" was impeccably just, as are all of His commands.

To not trust that basic biblical truth is to believe that a morally perfect Creator is a mass murderer. Such a thought in itself is evil and reveals a lack of the fear of God, which is the beginning of wisdom. On Judgment Day the character and wisdom of our Creator will be fully justified.

The Pope is very welcome to believe in evolution if he wishes. But someone should let him know that anyone who professes to be a Christian yet believes in Darwinian evolution, reveals three things.

1. They probably think that they are siding with science. They don’t realize that the theory has no scientific basis—that it’s unproven, and that it has to be received on blind faith.

2. More than likely they are confused between “adaptation” (varieties within kinds of animals—such as the difference between a Chihuahua and a Great Dane) and “Darwinian evolution.” Adaptation is all around us and it has nothing to do with Darwinian evolution.

And, 3. They don’t believe Jesus. This is because He ruled out any thought of evolution when He said “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning made them male and female” (Matthew 19:4).

In a recent post I asked the question which came first--air or lungs, the heart or blood, etc.? Frankten Goethe (presumably a believer in Darwinian evolution) stepped up to the plate and answered each question, ending with "science has evidence for its answers."

Frankten believed that air came first. But if the air came first, where did it come from, and how was it that it had just the right amount of oxygen to sustain human life? While human lungs were evolving how did we breathe? Why did they evolve if life was already sustained without them?

Next he believed that our incredibly complex blood formed before the heart. Why did it do that, and how did it get around the body if there was no heart?

Frankten believed that male and female (for some reason) evolved at the same time, over time. They had to, because they needed each other to survive, as did each of the millions of species, each of which have male and female. Why and how did evolution cause these millions of different species to evolve as male and female, each with different (but corresponding) reproductive parts? How did they reproduce while these parts were supposedly evolving?

Next he believed that water evolved before thirst. We know that we can't live without water, so how did we (and the millions of animals) survive if we had no thirst?

Frankten also believed that food evolved before the stomach. So eggs, wheat, beef, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, apples, and a million and one other amazing foods evolved but we couldn't eat anything because the stomach hadn't evolved. Nor had our teeth, tongue, taste buds, epiglottis, esophagus, digestive juices, as well as small and large intestines.

I am amazed at how such an unthinking and unthinkable unproven and unprovable theory has survived for all these years, and that some have the gall to believe that it's even slightly scientific.

Genesis simply and plainly tells us that all creation was brought into being at once by the hand of Almighty God. A that's not a pleasant thought for sin-loving sinners.

“False converts? What do you know about me Ray? I was raised in church. Got saved as a teenager. Went to bible school. Volunteered and worked in churches. I believed. But through personal study I developed questions. Theological issues, moral issues, issues with certain books (not written by who they say), issues with some of the stories, etc... It led me to question the validity of the bible. Does it mean there is no god? No. But, to me, it made me question the whole belief system. This was a personal journey. I've never read any atheist books or anything like that. It is what I questioned that has led me where I am. Just don't accuse those of us like me of being false.” Keith Phillips

One of the marks of a false profession is that he "believes.” Look at how scripture puts it:

If you jumped over someone’s fence, ran across their lawn, entered their house through an unlocked front door, then went into a number of rooms before being apprehended, you would probably face a charge of unlawful entry and get around 30 hours of community service. This is because it wouldn't be considered a serious crime.

Recently, a 42 year-old Texan named Omar Gonzalez, jumped a fence, ran across a lawn, entered a house through an unlocked door, and then went into a number of rooms before being apprehended. He faces up to 16 years in prison. The house into which he made unlawful entry was The White House.

The reason for the difference between the two punishments, is the party against whom the crime was committed. One was against a mere citizen, the other was against the office of the President of the United States. You can catch a glimpse of the importance of the President’s position by the punishment imposed.

All sin is against God. That’s why it results in death and damnation.

For the apologists of Islamic Jihadists. A little history lesson to keep in mind when next you wish to point out the problems within Christianity as an illustration of other "bad" religions.

Hitler was NOT a Christian. He was affiliated with Romanism but loved pagan religion especially the Thule society. And he was a left wing socialist, not the prime example of "right wing extremism"

The Oklahoma bomber was NOT a Christian. He was a left wing progressive who hated the Bible.

Jim Jones was a minister in a left wing denomination but was NOT a Christian but rather a Bible hating social justice advocate.

The Crusades were NOT an example of aggressive and violent Christianity but were one false religion (Roman Catholicism) at war with another false religion (Islam).

Hope that helps

As I demonstrated in my debate with Bill Nye in February, creationists can be—and are!—great scientists. No one in their right mind would argue that Sir Isaac Newton, Kepler, or Francis Bacon (inventor of the scientific method) hindered science. Nor would they say that Raymond Damadian, the inventor of the MRI scanner, can’t do science. Observational or experimental science—the kind of science that deals with the present and is testable, repeatable, and observable—does not require a belief in evolution! That’s why both creationists and evolutionists can do amazing things like being involved in building space shuttles and finding cures for diseases. However, when you move into historical science—the kind of science (knowledge) that deals with origins (beliefs about the past), and is not directly observable, repeatable, or testable—your model of origins will determine how you interpret the evidence of the present. It all depends on your starting point! Is it man’s fallible opinion about the past or God’s infallible Word?

“Hey Ray, what do you say to people on the second encounter who have been through the Law with you and are rejecting Christ?” Jason Powell

Be friendly, and ask him if he has given any thought to what you previously spoke about, and let him hear solemnity in your voice. If he hasn’t and he’s still open to listen, reiterate what you have told him.

As human beings we are dense and often need to have things repeated, especially when it comes to the gospel. Think of the millions who are told again and again not to drink and drive, and still do. They think that they are going to get away with their unlawful deeds.

So you have to put the fear of God in him. He’s not going to get away with anything. Remind him of the seriousness of sin, the reality of Hell, of the fact that death could seize him that day and he won’t get a second chance if that happens.

We don't have to prove to anyone that God exists. Everyone intuitively knows that He exists, but they willfully suppress the truth (see Rom. 1:18). Every person has a God-given conscience, which is the “work of the law written in their hearts” (Rom. 2:15). Just as every sane person knows that it is wrong to lie, steal, kill, and commit adultery, he knows that if there is a moral Law, then there must be a moral Lawgiver.

In addition to the testimony of his impartial conscience, the atheist also has the testimony of creation. It declares the glory of God, His eternal power, and divine nature, so that the person who denies the voice of conscience and the voice of creation is without excuse (Psa. 19:1; Rom. 1:19–21). If he dies in his sins, he will face the wrath of a holy Creator, whether he believes in Him or not.

This is why I don’t spend too much time trying to convince anyone that there is a God. To do so is to waste time and energy. What sinners need is not to be convinced that God exists, but that sin exists and that they are in terrible danger.

The biblical way to do this is to go through the moral Law and explain that God considers lust to be adultery and hatred to be murder, etc. It is the revelation that God is holy and just, and sees the thought-life, that convinces us that we are in danger of eternal damnation. That is what sinners need to hear to send them to the cross for mercy.

So never be discouraged from preaching the gospel, and don’t get sidetracked by rabbit-trail issues that don’t really matter.

This made me smile, because it's so true. Every "proof" we see of UFO's is blurred.

Proof of God, however, is the opposite. It is vibrant, focused, succinct, absolute, and it comes in four forms:

1. Creation: It is scientifically impossible for Nature to have made itself.
2. Conscience: Every culture, from the beginning of time, has a God-given and society-shaped knowledge of right and wrong.
3. Commandments: God gave us the Ten Commandments (which are confirmed by the conscience) to show us that we need His mercy.
4. Conversion: We can come to know God simply by obeying the gospel.

God's note is the Bible. It says, "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you...I will give you a new heart...Old thing pass away, all things become new."

I believe the Bible, not because I welled up some sort of faith in its words, but because it said that God would make me a completely new person if I would repent and trust alone in Jesus.

It authenticated itself as the Word of God by supernaturally doing what it said it would do. The power came on and transformed me overnight into a brand new person.

This didn't come about because of anything I did. It was a completely independent source of power that took me out of darkness and brought me into light. Therefore every other promise in it about Heaven, Hell, and everlasting life is utterly true altogether.

This man got up on the heckler's box yesterday at Huntington Beach. He was a science teacher who believed in evolution. He also maintained that he was a Christian.

Of course, like most believers in Darwinian evolution (as Richard Dawkins calls it), he was confused between adaptation and evolution. When Scotty handed him off to me, the man used the f-bomb. This was because I challenged the nature of his so-called commitment to Christ. No one who says he is a follower of Jesus can embrace the unscientific theory-tale of evolution. This is because Jesus said, "Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female...'"(Matthew 19:4).

When we look at the fossil record and the existing creation we see observable scientific evidence for male and female. In all of the different species of birds, fish, animals and insects (except for a few low life's) we see male and female, each bringing forth after their own kind.

Creationism can be observed and tested. Evolution can't. Not in a million years. If you think it can, watch four leading evolutionary scientists flounder like gasping fish in a dry desert, as they vainly try and think of some: www.evolutionVsGod.com

When was the following written?

“Our declining society is an outward expression of an inward rejection of the Creator. And our freedoms are being eroded as Christianity is being slowly eliminated. Christians may wake up one day to find Christianity outlawed.”

That certainly sounds like a description of America today, doesn’t it? But it was published 26 years ago—in 1988. The paragraph comes from page 97 of a book *(now out of print and replaced by the book 'The Lie') I co-authored as a companion to The Genesis Solution film in 1987, featuring a live presentation I gave that the Lord has used to build the Answers in Genesis ministry: we call it the “relevance of Genesis message.”

Now back in the 1980s, I had been making the statement that “Christians may wake up one day to find Christianity outlawed.” It was a major part of the talks I was giving in churches in both Australia and the USA. Frankly, many Christians laughed at me for even suggesting that such a change could happen. I remember some Americans back then saying something like, “No, not in America—it could never happen here!”

But look at where America is today—and where it is heading!

Just before God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses, He instructed him to tell Israel to come to the base of Mount Sinai. Moses was to warn them not to touch the mountain lest He “break forth” onto them and they die (see Exodus 19:22-24). This was because, even though God is omniscient, He has an immediate presence.

Words fail miserably to express what this means, but I will try by using an infinitely insufficient analogy. It’s like an extremely good judge who is waiting to pass sentence on the most evil of criminals—a monster of an excuse for a man who abducted, tortured, raped, and slowly slit the throats of a dozen young girls. The man laughs in the faces of distraught and grieving relatives in anticipation, as the judge lifts his gavel to pass sentence.

To his shock the judge’s eyes change and flash with intense indignation, and then with purposeful anger in his words he passes the death sentence. The gravity of his tone and the depth of his wrath were in direct proportion to his goodness.

Again, the analogy is desperately wanting, but it gives us a minuscule insight into the fact that God is so morally impeccable, so absolutely good, so utterly holy that if we were to stand in His presence for a split second, His wrath would spill upon us at lightning-speed, and devour us.

The multitude of our crimes against His perfect Law would draw it upon us like an anvil to an electrified magnet. He would “break forth” onto us.

On Judgment Day He will fall in wrath upon sinful humanity. How inadequate are the words of Scripture to our dull minds if God doesn’t quicken them to us—“Wherefore knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men.”

Are you persuading men? If not, then you don’t know the terror of the Lord. If you are unsaved, are you persuaded today to flee to the cross? If not, then you haven’t seen the depth of your own sins and so need to creep up to the Mountain and listen to the Ten Commandments. I plead with you, do that today before the arresting officer of death seizes upon you, and the celestial beings justly cast you into God’s terrible and dark prison—with no hope of parole.

Christians believe that God made man from soil. How dumb is that? If you just said an atheist-amen to the dumb question, then I’d like you to do something the next time you go shopping in a supermarket.

Look at every food item and ask yourself whether or not it traces itself back to soil: potato chips, milk, cheese, eggs, butter, pancakes, bananas, bread, cookies, grapes, apples, beef, chicken, lamb, pork, popcorn, chocolate, cereal, coffee, strawberries, etc. It takes a little bit of backward thinking, but if you take the time to give it some thought, everything traces itself back to the soil.

Let’s do it with eggs. The eggs came from the chicken. The chicken ate the wheat to make the eggs, and the wheat traces itself back to the soil.

When you were a toddler, your mother gave you milk that came from the cow that chewed the grass that came from the soil. Stated simplistically, milk is rearranged soil nutrients.

So is cheese, butter, yoghurt and ice cream. The substance of our bodies is made up of the food we ate, and all the food we ate traces itself back to the soil (Mother Earth). We are rearranged dirt.

Coincidentally, science tells us that the same trace elements that make up soil are the same elements that make up the human body--carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus. When you die, your body will turn back into soil, and your soiled soul will return to the God who gave you your life.

Hatred, rape, abortion, alcoholism, drug abuse, anger, prejudice, murder, greed, child abuse, hate crimes, drinking and driving, bullying, and domestic violence.

These are just the tip of the iceberg of the problems that infect secular society. They are symptoms of the disease of sin—the persistent pandemic that forever plagues the human race. Albert Einstein was right when he said, “It is easier to denature plutonium than to denature the evil spirit of man.”

These social issues are like stubborn leaks in an old house in a rain storm. If we stop one, another breaks through right beside it.

God gives us a brand new roof when we are born again. However, it is important to remember that the gospel wasn’t given by God to clean up sinful society. It was given to save us from death and Hell, and through it, the symptoms of sin subside.

The reason I believe the Bible is the Word of the Creator is because I have evidence that convinced me of that fact. It didn’t convert me. It amazingly explained what had happened to me after my conversion. It also contains explicit and inexplicable prophecies that pinpoint humanity’s timeline.

The Scriptures warned that at the end of this age (not the end of the world), just before the second coming of Jesus, certain things would be happening:

1. There would be money-hungry Bible teachers, who would slur the Christian faith and deceive many: “There will be false teachers among you . . . and many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words” (2 Peter 2:1–3 NKJV).

2. There would be wars, increased seismic activity, food shortages, and widespread disease: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places” (Matthew 24:7 NKJV).

3. The moon would become blood red: “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD” (Acts 2:20 NKJV).

4. People would become selfish, materialistic, and blasphemous: “In the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers” (2 Timothy 3:1–2).

5. The world would embrace homosexuality as a normal lifestyle: “Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot . . . on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed” (Luke 17:28–29). Some believe that Sodom was judged because of their inhospitality. However, the Bible makes it clear that Sodom was given over to homosexuality. The Scriptures say that Lot was “oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men.” These people were “those who indulge[d] the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise[d] authority” (2 Peter 2:7–10 NASB). Jude 7 warns “Sodom and Gomorrah . . . having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire” (NKJV).

6. Religious hypocrisy would be prevalent: “For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]” (2 Timothy 3:5 AMP).

7. Men would deny that God created the heavens, and that He destroyed the world through Noah’s flood: “There shall come in the last days scoffers . . . For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished” (2 Peter 3:3, 5, 6).

8. The future would become frightening: “. . . men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken” (Luke 21:26 NKJV).

9. Skeptics (motivated by the sin of lust) would mock these signs, claiming they have always been around: “Scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, ‘Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation’” (2 Peter 3:3–4 NKJV).

10. The city of Jerusalem is pivotal in Bible prophecy. Scripture says that it would become a major political problem for the nations: “And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples” (Zechariah 12:3 NKJV). The powerful Arab nations want to annihilate the nation of Israel, so that they can have Jerusalem as their center of worship.

Jesus said, “Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled” (Luke 21:24). Jerusalem was controlled by the Gentiles (non-Jewish nations) until 1967, when the Jews took its possession. For the first time in two thousand years the Jews stepped into Jerusalem. This sign shows us where we are on the prophetic clock. We are living on the very edge of the coming of God’s kingdom—when His will, will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. The tragedy, however, is that despite these evident signs, most will ignore the warning to get right with God and eventually end up in a terrible place called "Hell." Don't let that happen to you.

Scientific Facts in the Bible

If the Bible isn’t inspired by God, explain why it insists that newborn males be circumcised on the eighth day (Genesis 17:12). Medical science wouldn’t discover for thousands of years that prothrombin (essential for clotting) is at its peak on that day.

Or explain how it is that 2,700 years ago the Scriptures said, “It is He who sits above the circle of the earth” (Isaiah 40:22). At a time when science believed the earth was flat, it was the Scriptures that inspired Christopher Columbus to sail around the world.

About 3,000 years ago the Bible asked, “Can you send out lightnings, that they may go, and say to you, ‘Here we are!’?” (Job 38:35). We now know that sound can be sent at the speed of light so that we can instantly communicate with someone across the globe. Science didn’t discover this until 1864.

Over 3,000 years ago, the Bible said to wash under running water when dealing with disease (Leviticus 15:13). Until the mid-1800s doctors washed their hands in a bowl of still water, leaving invisible germs, spreading diseases and resulting in the deaths of multitudes.

If the Bible isn’t God-inspired, explain how the writer of the Book of Job knew around 3,000 years ago that the earth “hangs...on nothing” (Job 26:7)—thousands of years before science discovered that this massive earth does indeed freely float in space.

How did the Bible writers know over 3,000 years ago that “the life of the flesh is in the blood” (Leviticus 17:11)? It wasn’t until the advent of the microscope that science understood the vital interaction between blood and flesh—that every 23 seconds the blood cleanses and nourishes each cell in the body.

Or explain how over 3,000 years ago Scripture prescribed quarantining (Leviticus 13:1–8). Up until the 17th century, those with contagious diseases stayed in the same rooms as the rest of the family, and doctors were mystified about how diseases spread so rapidly.

The Bible proves itself to be inspired by God. It is His Instruction Book for humanity, and that’s why we must listen to it when it warns that after we die we have to face Him in judgment.

"Christians make up the majority of prisons while atheists only cover about 0.2% of the entire prison population."

When prisoners are enlisted they are no doubt told to give their religious affiliation--whether they are a Jew, a Moslem, a Christian, a Hindu, etc. I’m sure that one of the reasons they ask that question is that it's probably not a good idea to put a Moslem and a Jew in the same cell. Few list their religious affiliation as being “atheist” because, as we are so often reminded, atheism is not a belief.

Most people who have some sort of belief would check "Christian" because we are still known as a Christian nation rather than a Moslem, Hindu or Jewish nation. Those atheists who keep parading this "statistic" in an effort to prove that atheists live on a higher moral ground need only look at the 110,000,000 human beings who have been slaughtered under atheistic communism, to bring them back to reality.
