Lastly, even if I have many issues with the latino and black communities, I think I've always respected that there is something "warm" to their cultures. Mexican people are incredibly gregarious--they have massive parties with the whole extended family, they invite everyone, and everyone is always welcome. As for blacks, you go to any black neighborhood and it seems like everyone knows each other. Everyone's outside, people are socializing, and I know it sounds cliche but they all call each other "brother and sister." I think that's really cool.
I find that kind of warmth to be totally lacking in Asian culture.
Finally, and more big picture, I don't like these kinds of questions because they all seem to have the same underlying message: well, okay, you don't want massive amounts of THIS group in your country, but what about THIS one??? I was at university at around 11pm last night because I had an assignment due at midnight and of course I left it to the last minute because I've been busy LDARing the past few weeks. Some political prisoners also went to the gulags, which is again questionable, but not genocide.
Second, the number of people that went through the gulags was very variable by year, and at almost all times significantly lower as a percentage of population than other prison systems, such as the modern US's, and the survival rate was fairly high for work camps, although again, variable. The gulags were a penal system, one that is highly suspect, but definitively not a genocide.

Oddly, many Jews themselves are convince they are in fact a race in need of protection from racism, and that this is supported by genetic research. I think that this too is false, as the only valid characteristics of "race" in the context of "racism" are those which render the target group unchangeable physically conspicuous. People with Jewish ancestry, at least in the UK, can pass as non-Jewish people simply by dressing like non-Jewish people.

I think the main reason why many people deny race is that the fact that some races being on average less intelligent makes them feel so bad for those races that they refuse to maintain the belief. They only feel this way because they know it's true but would rather avoid the issue.
