Now I'm imagining a gay porn parody of the show "The Apprentince"...
Otherwise, I'll second Bastethotep: What?
The slash fiction written of Finn/Poe.
Now, FAILman & Cunter's Hate Child: A former First Order Strormtrooper-turned-Resistance fighter or an X-Wing pilot.
Which one kills you first...?!
I interpreted this as “gays recruit children”. I mean, I know the Jedi recruit children, but do the Sith? I haven’t seen the prequels, so I don’t know if that was addressed.

I think Episode 1 was a decent movie, that would have been great if it hadn't been for Jar Jar Binks. Episode 3 was *mostly* good, but Anakin's turn to the dark side was handled so terribly it nearly ruins it. It was like somebody opened up his skull and flipped a switch from "good" to "evil". But, the opposite basically occured at the end of Episode 6 - "look, son, I threw the Emperor down a well so I'm good now, let's just forget about the unspeakable atrocities that I'm responsible for when I'm smiling at you as a blue ghost at the party later" (perhaps my least favorite of all the Star Wars movies - only episodes 2 and 8 could compete). Now, Episode 2 was a steaming pile of garbage. That plot about the origin of the clone army was just sooooo fucking stupid. I mean, yes let's use this mysterious army supposedly commissioned by along dead Jedi master that was created with the help of the assassin who tried to kill a senator and ended up fleeing to join the separatist forces! That's not suspicious at all! The fight between Dooku and Yoda was cool though.

I did wonder why Lucas choose to make Anakin a petulant dim-bulb, & then make him almost cool & likable right before he goes evil. That’s tight writing right there. Darth Maul & Duel of the Fates were the only redeeming qualities of Episode 1. Episode 2 is without a doubt, the worst thing in the entire franchise-I still can’t over the CGI ping pong ball muppet they turned Yoda into for that last fight, even if it was neat to watch. It was just so ridiculous I couldn’t look past it. That was the 3rd movie Mr. Crimson Ghost & I ever saw, I spent the last half of it looking at my watch. Always a good sign when watching any movie, especially a heavily promoted one. As for the new ones, Rogue One is hands down the best one.

Yeah, I agree with most of what you and Spacewyrm said. There are many ways Anakin’s turn to the Dark Side could have been handled better.
That being said, while I agree Rogue One is awesome and one of the best, I do happen to love Episode 8 as well, more than 7 & 9 actually. The Ghost Yoda scene alone elevates it for me, and lots of other things too. Plus I think the Raddus is an awesome-looking ship.
Anyway, I just happen to think Rian Johnson did a better job at making a SW film by pulling stuff out of his ass then JJ did, even when the latter had plans to work with. I don’t hate 9, I just think it it could have easily been much better. For example the fact that you actually need to read the Visual Guide and the Expanded novel to actually understand most of what’s happening is always an unforgivable thing in a story.

Actually, the Sith kinda do, but on a much smaller and secretive scale. Mostly because of the Rule of Two (One master, one apprentice) that Darth Bane implemented hundreds of years earlier.

Yeah, Rogue One was really good. That one might be my favorite Star Wars movie out of all of them. You know, I thought I had a bad opinion of episode 2, but it sounds like you dislike it much more than I do. When I get talking about Star Wars with my dad or sister, it's rare that I don't start ranting about how I would have wtitten the prequels differently, with some rant about how dumb episode 2 was. I also think that killing Darth Maul in Episode 1 was unfortunate. He should have returned in Episode 2 (nobody can convince me he was originally intended to survive that). But, I must be a bit of weirdo, since I actually enjoyed the prequels overall. Even if Episode 2 is hard to stomach and a lot of Episode 3 was clunky and weird, mostly I think because they tried to fit way too much into that one movie. Though, I feel today that even the original trilogy is dumber to me now than when I was a girl. Still better than either the prequel or sequel trilogies though.

Personally, I think Episode 9 explained enough for me to enjoy the movie without thinking I was missing something important. There were a lot of things about Episode 9 that bugged me, but one of my biggest problems is how disappointingly boring and uninteresting the Knights of Ren turned out to be. While I can't say I didn't enjoy Episode 8, I do dislike the plot. I thought the trip to Space Monte Carlo while they were in the middle of being chased by the First Order fleet made no sense. I agree that the ghost Yoda scene was a great. I also liked the visuals on salt planet at the end, and I think the "fight" between Luke and Kylo Ren was pretty cool.
Confused?
