I am amazed at those who condemn the obvious self-defense against vehicular assault, but cheered the summary execution of unarmed Ashey Babbit for the crime of trespass.

According to witnesses and footage, Good was ordered to leave by one ICE member. She did so, while probably terrified out of her mind, and was shot several times by another ICE member while driving away under the thinly-veiled excuse of “fleeing while attempting vehicular assault”.
Not to mention ICE outright threatened a nearby MD that wanted to help her.
Meanwhile Babbit *spit* was part of an armed and furious mob attacking government officials and attempting a friggin’ coup.

He was beside her then motionless car attempting to rip open the driver’s side door when she started to drive away. Hard to run someone over when they’re beside your stopped car trying to rip the door open, even harder when you’re quite noticeably turning turning the car away from them when you do start moving. And then after he shot her repeatedly in the head which police are trained not to do because it causes the driver to slump over the wheel on the accelerator causing a crash which is exactly what happened he got in his own car and drove off - fleeing the scene - which is NOT what cops do. It’s also not what happens if you’re “lucky to be alive, recovering in the hospital” from being hit head on as the rest of your horrifically false narrative goes.

Ashli Babbit was at the spearhead of a mob chanting for hangings crawling through the barricade she had just violently smashed open and not with her bare hands. After stepping over her body the mob, disappointed they would not be murdering the entirety of the House and Senate, settled for looting the Capitol Building and smearing shit on the walls. You know, as the average American tour group does. And then they got to go home completely unchallenged, the police barely even looked for them it was everybody else around them that made all the effort to punish them in the aftermath.

If it had been BLM the National Guard would not have seen a need to wait for an order from the president to not only deploy the second the mob was up the stairs but they would most likely use deadly force with no further need for authorization. Hell, they just might have declared the Capitol Building and all inside lost deciding to just shell the whole block.
