Alabama U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville says President Donald Trump should defund major American cities where leadership is “godawful”

Tuberville appeared on The Benny Show with Benny Johnson on Wednesday, commenting on several issues, including his upcoming run for the Alabama’s governor’s seat

Tuberville was asked if President Donald Trump should cut off funding to large “sanctuary” cities that attract immigrants

“You can stop the federal funding,” Tuberville said. “President Trump can do anything he wants when it comes to the federal. Again, these inner-city rats, they live off the federal government. And that’s one reason we’re $37 trillion in debt

“And it’s time we find these rats and we send them back home, that are living off the American taxpayers, that are working very hard every week to pay taxes”

Tuberville drew fire for some comments about whether people from urban areas should come to Alabama

“Well, don’t be expecting a free lunch, I promise you,” he said. “Bring your lunch with you because you’re not going to be welcomed if you’re going to bring that Communist, Islamic atmosphere with you. We’re not going to deal with it. I’m telling you right now..

“They are going to try and overwhelm us....We have got to fight back”

Pretty sure it’s congress that makes the budge. Trump using executive orders gives him line-item veto on budget matters.
Right now, Trumps war on Immigrants has run the migrant workers out of South Dakota. And his trade war with China has caused then to drop a MAJOR Soy Bean order with South Dakota. Crops aren’t getting harvested and they can’t sell them anyway. So they’re facing a, IIRC, $50 billion budget deficit.
If he cuts off federal funding to the states, why will they pay their federal taxes? And then who’s going to rescue S. Dakota from Trump?

The kind of idiot that still saw a need to defraud the university he coached at despite a multimillion dollar salary while running the team into the ground and then blaming the team for their slipping performance while you screamed abuse in their faces. Then publicly bemoaning that you couldn’t find a way to legally punish them for walking away and finding better schools to play for because the ineffectual racist banshee that made more in one year than any of them would see in their lifetime even if they managed to go pro was pretty clear he thought they didn’t deserve to be there to start with. Which was rich, considering you broke your own contracts.

Free lunch? My god the arrogance of those words coming out of you. The performance of student athletes was what earned you millions with no effort of your own, just indulging your need to be cruel to them while they got nothing. Not even a literal lunch, they would forfeit their tuition if they accepted so much as a sandwich and in one famously terrible case a ride from school. And you’d rub that in their faces while eating a free meal from a sponsor, licensing out their image from you while the athletes you leeched the entirety of your lifeblood from were frequently at risk of literal starvation or homelessness. Sponsorship deals that dwarf what they “owed” in tuition a hundred times over, a tuition they were treated as having been an unearned handout despite putting more hours into maintaining their academic obligations and sports performance than someone with two full time jobs. Again, for nothing. Not even a proper education as they would be funnelled towards so-called paper classes. Classes with no purpose but to bang out low-effort course credits while teaching as little as possible to keep a profitable athlete’s grades up without having to resort to actually putting any time, effort, or school resources actual teaching because that’s money spent on the cash cows rather than being written off on overpaid coaches and nonsense building additions to fake like school sports are a non-profit endeavour. The topics of these classes are scientifically formulated to let shitheads like you mutter jokes about "woke degrees” that aren’t worth anything and are emphatically NOT the reason people have trouble finding gainful employment. The STEM tracks and a degree in finance - you know, the actual majors your athletes were studying for that this filler is supposed to round out and put some unconvincing glitter on - simply end up in the shredder just as quickly as if their major actually WAS “women’s studies” while another fucking leech like you mutters about “free lunches” for people who didn’t earn them.

But hey, at least back then you were picking on guys who could lay you out flat if they finally decided to believe their futures were as shit as you wanted them to believe they were. Now you’re obsessed with women’s bathrooms and as gross about it as everybody’s favourite disgraced author.

Yet ‘illegals’ wipe $1tn off the deficit every 10 years thanks to their activities.

Businesses in America run by complete idiots that voted for this shit never figured out that their entire financial solvency relies on the people they voted to deport. People they pay less than they would have to pay white Americans who they clearly disrespect just as much. And these arrogant financial geniuses who didn’t realize if your workers get deported they cannot do their jobs are BEGGING AND QUITE COMICALLY THREATENING those workers to come back into work for less than minimum wage with ICE actively hunting for them at their jobs, through the taxes they pay, kidnapping them directly from the offices where they are participating in the process of legal immigration, even being dragged out of actual fucking naturalization ceremonies and just forget the risk of being summarily shipped to die in fucking Sudan without any legal representation so ICE can make their astonishingly unrealistic arrest quotas SlenderMiller demanded of them or else be shot dead by some random fucking hick who could just be pretending to be ICE. CITIZENS carrying their proper papers have to worry about that shit because these animals don’t actually give a fuck, they will shove your passport down your throat the moment you try to show it to them and watch you choke to death on it laughing to themselves. But of course, it’s the people being asked to assume this risk for someone else’s profit margin - a profit margin they did not seem to think linked in any way to the work being done until the money just stopped magically appearing - are the ungrateful freeloaders.

Free fucking lunch? Immigrants should be more grateful? Motherfuckers you’re the fucking hookworms and tapeworms eating them alive. You’re entrenched and hidden in the soil they came to till and whose harvest you reap waiting to spring from hiding, burrow into their flesh, and feast. And yet you call them the parasites for “invading” the soil you infest, “superior” because you just as arrogantly and wrongly declare yourself “native” to it like your ancestors didn’t come off a boat themselves. They’ll live without you, they’ll build because that’s what they came to do, the whole appeal of the fabled “American Dream” was that all you needed was the willingness to work to have a successful life. I think they voted to lean into the threats they’ve been using to leverage overwork and sacrifice for less and less reward being even more terrifying without thinking they would be any more tangible or that they, as the masters of their own reality, would be the ones who decided if it happened or not. An illusory safe harbour with a lot of strings amidst constant threat. They in their infinite smugness and certainty the world only continues to turn by their leave very much seem under the impression they could have called ICE on one upstart to have them taken away in front of the rest who ICE would simply pretend they don’t see unless directed straight at them because it isn’t their status that was the issue but their disobedience. Police to these people are just hired goons that serve at their pleasure under other pretexts, situations that falsely imply a favour or protection is being extended. The threats being made good on without their permission is what they didn’t vote for. Examples were supposed to made of those with too much dignity and what amounted to “unclaimed property” in their eyes that could be snapped up by a competitor, not those in their servitude already sufficiently cowed by fear and falsely engineered gratitude.
