It was like having a bad case of the flu for a couple of weeks, but we recovered just fine. That’s something the liberal media hacks and government won’t admit; the recovery rate far exceeds the fatalities. And that the numbers of deaths from the virus were deliberately inflated. Another fact they conveniently overlook is that 78% of people hospitalized with covid were obese or had pre-existing medical problems.

I was vaxxed and still caught it - but took three years. Felt like a cold with extra fatigue, and was gone in two weeks with no lingering effects.

Our entire house had it, everyone. I almost died deaf and choked to death, had to wear earbuds deep in and had to have people speak through a mic to me to even register the words for like a week over. Our roommate was so delirious she almost brained herself on the tiles while being on the crapper in a fit of a faint, my hubbie, a titan of resilience that he is only took a week and a half absence from work while he was coughing like he had a case of consumption… We all got something from that stuff, my lungs don’t work as well no more(though of course actively smoking grass does not help here), I have a bit of deafness in my left ear most days and I still am fucking happy every day that I didn’t get any brain damage from it all.
It was like a bad cold and a couple of days with the ‘flu. But I got it at the end of 2022. If I hadn’t worn a mask it might have been earlier, when it was much worse.
My then GF never got it at all, despite intimate contact (incl. kissing) with myself on the first day of symptoms.
I went to the ER in May 2021 with a terrible cough, scared to death, but when I asked, "Is it Covid?" I was told, "No. You have double pneumonia."
I said, "Oh, thank God," (because pneumonia is very treatable) and the 2 doctors interviewing me laughed and said, "Yeah, we're hearing that a lot."
Still spent 2 nights in hospital while they got my blood oxygen levels up from the 80s. I've never been so glad I don't smoke.

I got it a couple of months after I got the most recent booster, but it was a very mild case. It was actually worse the time I got the flu. But a huge part of that was the vaccine and the additional booster. And since multiple family members have had blood clots (way before the pandemic) and my grandmother died from a blood clot, I think I’m really lucky.
However, I have had persistent memory problems ever since I had it. I can never remember if I locked my car and have to click the the fob to make sure it’s actually locked. I go int9 the grocery store for one thing and I get there and I can’t remember what it was. I’ll make a plan with friends and then by the time we’re off the phone or I get home or whatever I don’t even remember making plans and so I don’t write anything down to begin with. I’ll say I’ll do something for a project or a group or something and then before I get off the phone or whatever it’s gone.
This is not like me. I take cognitive tests once every couple of years and in the past I’ve tested in the 98th percentile for working memory. But no more. I sure hope this goes away eventually. And what I’m dealing with is far less than others who have long COVID and can’t do things like climb the stairs anymore because they get too out of breath.
