You couldn't pay me to watch any modern comic book centered thing. Actually, I take that back. Dan Houser is finalizing his American Caper crime fiction comic book series for his studio, Absurd Ventures, so maybe there's hope. That releases next month as a 12 issue franchise.
Anything from Marvel, DC, DarkHorse, Image, and Valiant, I will only read from 20+ years ago while their golden ages were much earlier. Valiant was on a fucking roll in the early 90's with badass and crazy characters that were so crazy that they were awesome. Turok, Eternal Warrior, Magnus The Robot Fighter, BloodShot, NinJak, etc.
The funny thing is that Bloodshot, Eternal Warrior, NinJak, and Turok, were diverse characters that weren't woke either. Modern comics piss me off too much with their woke BS. It hurt my soul to see Superman's son kissing a boy on the front cover of a comic book and generally being a pushover. The Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2 games are the video game form of modern comic books where leftist propaganda is shoved everywhere.
