On January 10, 2025, the Vatican approved new guidelines allowing openly gay men to join Catholic seminaries to prepare them to teach congregations—on the condition that they live a celibate (Catholic definition: unmarried) life. This drastic departure from the 2005 rule, which barred gay men from seminaries altogether, is yet another glaring example of how the Vatican continues to compromise biblical truth to appease the world.
This isn’t the first time the Catholic Church has abandoned the Bible, and it won’t be the last. The Vatican teaches that only priests and popes can rightly interpret the Bible, hell isn’t permanent, you can “atone” for sins in purgatory, and doing penance for yourself or a loved one will get you to heaven faster. Their blasphemous worship of the virgin Mary goddess and the Eucharist wafer god are two more contradictions of the Bible’s clear teaching.
When the Catholic Magisterium—the supposed "teaching authority of the Church”—holds the power to overrule Scripture, it’s only a matter of time before they justify any and all sin. The current situation with gay clergy is just the latest symptom of a much larger problem: not holding to the Bible as the final authority.

WITH SODOMY LAWS REPEALED, WILL AGE-OF-CONSENT LAWS BE NEXT?

As homosexuals press for acceptance, their even more perverted cousins, the pedophiles, are marching in their shadow.

CBN's NewsWatch reports that sexual predators who target children have learned a how-to lesson from the homosexual movement on seeking legitimacy.

Several years ago homosexual activists began preaching the message that consenting adults should be allowed to do whatever they wished sexually. They were so successful in selling this message that the lawmakers removed the sodomy laws from the books in most states.

Now pedophile organizations such as the North American Man Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) are pushing against the age of consent laws. NewsWatch says, "Americans are continually bombarded with images on television and in magazines of grown-up looking children striking provocative poses."

The Calvin Klein ads which were recently pulled because of public outcry are cited as an example. This media hype begins to desensitize the public.

NAMBLA believes that eventually their message will be accepted: "And what about the notion of the age of consent...in this age of adolescent sexual precocity? Shouldn't it be lowered to a more realistic standard? Say, to fourteen, thirteen or twelve?"

EXPLANATION: First, let's get it straight. You do not have an "Alma Mater." The term "Alma Mater" results from the combination of the Hebrew word for "virgin" (almah) and the Greek word for "mother" (meter). Thus when you speak of your "Alma Mater" you refer to your "Virgin Mother," a terminology which we fairly say can only be used by Jesus Christ.

Satan is scheming to corrupt our children like never before. Schools, movies, books . . . they are all presenting witches, demons, werewolves, etc. as “fun” and entertaining. The poor kids have no idea that everything demonic is hated by God, and that we are forbidden to even be involved, or “familiar” with such spirits. Halloween is on its way to becoming the biggest holiday of the year! Everything satanic is being glorified.

Is it any wonder that when these kids get older, they are more likely to experiment with witchcraft and the occult?

Want to pull them back to reality? You do it by handing them our Halloween tracts. For some kids, this will be the only time they will be exposed to the gospel.

This Halloween, millions of lost kids will come to the front doors of Christians— asking for a treat. What an amazing witnessing opportunity.

Many Christians celebrate holidays, such as Halloween, without thinking about their origins or true meaning. It is impossible to separate Halloween from the Druids because they originated the "holiday."

For several hundred years before Christ, the Celts inhabited what is now France, Germany, England, Scotland and Ireland. Celtic priests were called Druids. These people were eventually conquered by the Romans.

Information about the Celts and Druids comes from Caesar and the Roman historians, Greek writings from about 200 B.C., and very early records found in Ireland. Greek and Roman writings about the Druids dwell heavily on their frequent and barbaric human sacrifices. The ancient Irish texts say little about human sacrifices, but detail the Druids' use of magic to raise storms, lay curses on places, kill by the use of spells, and create magical obstacles.

Human Sacrifices
Davies, however, a 16th century writer who traced his family lineage directly back to Druid priests who fought against Caesar, clearly describes the human sacrifices of his ancestors and the secret sacrifices still performed regularly by the Druids of his time.

By 47 A.D., Rome finally defeated the Druids in Britain and outlawed human sacrifices. The few remaining Druids went underground.

Today a growing group of people claiming to be of direct Druid descent, still practice their religion, including human sacrifice. Those in England still perform ceremonies at Stonehenge.


November 1st was the Celtic new year
October 31st was celebrated by the Druids with many human sacrifices and a festival honoring their sun god and Samhain, the lord of the dead. They believed that the sinful souls of those who died during the year were in a place of torment, and would be released only if Samhain was pleased with their sacrifices.


Monks Fascinated By Druids
Irish records tell of the fascination the Catholic monks had with the powerful Druids, and Druids soon became important members of their monasteries. Pope Gregory the Great decided to incorporate the Druids' holiday into the church. He made the proclamation, "They are no longer to sacrifice beasts to the devil, but they may kill them for food to the praise of God, and give thanks to the giver of all gifts for His bounty." Pope Gregory III moved the church festival of October 31st to November 1st and called it All Hallows or All Saints' Day. Pope Gregory IV decreed that the day was to be a universal church observance. The term Halloween comes from All Hallows Eve.

The founding fathers of America refused to permit the holiday to be observed because they knew it was a pagan holiday. Halloween was not widely celebrated in the U.S. until about 1900. In the 1840's there was a terrible potato famine in Ireland which sent thousands of Catholic Irish to America. They brought Halloween with them.

The modern custom of going from door to door asking for food and candy goes back to the time of the Druids. They believed that sinful, lost souls were released upon the earth by Samhain for one night on October 31st while they awaited their judgment. They were thought to throng about the houses of the living and were greeted with banquet-laden tables. People greatly feared these spirits and thought that the spirits would harm and even kill them if the sacrifices they gave did not appease Samhain. They carved demonic faces into pumpkins or large turnips, placing a candle in them to keep the evil spirits away from their homes.

The tradition of bobbing for apples and giving out nuts came from a Roman addition to the Druidic New Year’s eve. The Romans worshiped Pomona who was the goddess of the harvest. They combined their harvest festival to Pomona with Halloween.

Very little archeological evidence of the Druids has been found, but there is excellent agreement between the Roman and Irish documents. Both clearly state that the knowledge of the Druids was never committed to writing but passed from generation to generation by oral teaching. This was to protect their secrets. In his writings, Davies indicates that he came under much persecution by his family for putting in writing his information about Druids. The same is true today. Nothing is put into writing. The Druids continue on secretly with much the same traditions.

The widespread problem of harmful substances such as razor blades, drugs, poisons, needles, etc. being placed in the Halloween treats here in America is no accident. Testimonies of several ex-Satanists show that these children killed and injured by the "treats" are sacrifices to Satan (or Samhain). Satanists throughout the world continue to perform human sacrifices on Halloween.

Stone Age' Another Evolution Myth
Issue Date: November/December 2005
The term, "stone age" is deeply imbedded in our language. Yet, it only illustrates how thoroughly the evolution world view permeates our thinking. The term evolves from the idea that there was a time in man's history when he was so primitive that stone tools were all he knew how to manufacture.

The current Creation magazine, published by Answers In Genesis, discusses the history of the term and the view that there were three stages in the evolution of man's advancement: the stone age, the bronze age and the iron age. It seems that the "three-age system" was invented by a coin collector, Christian Thompson, who was appointed as the first head of the Danish National Museum.

The museum contained piles of "prehistoric" tools, weapons, and other artifacts. Thompson's job was to bring some order out of the chaos. So, he decided to classify every thing by its material. He presumed that, if man evolved, his first tools and weapons would have been rocks that he picked up.

Since bronze, or brass, was easier to work, he assumed that its invention would have been next, followed by crude iron implements. Archeologists admit, however, that all three types of tools are found together in archeological digs. The concept so neatly fit the larger erroneous assumption of evolution, that the "stone age man" dressed in skins and carrying a big club, is a popular image in our children's serious history books.

Again we only need to turn to the Bible for perspective. In Genesis 4:22, Tubalcain was "an instructor of every artificer in brass and iron." This was before the flood.

Thus we see that the "ages" of man is just another popular idea with no basis in fact. One by one, the "proofs" of evolution are disappearing. Author Thomas Heinze has written a book on The Vanishing Proofs of Evolution. In it he details the myths supporting the evolution world view and shows how none rely on reasoned fact. All the facts point to a Designer whom we know as Jesus Christ.

Recent pictures of the moon’s surface have evolutionists scrambling for an explanation. High-resolution images by a lunar orbiter since 2009 show over 200 new craters on the surface. “Not only does this study invalidate the idea that craters only form over long eras, but the research suggests that these regular impacts could completely alter the surface of the moon within a timescale of thousands—not millions—of years,” wrote Garrett Haley on Christiannews.net.

Evidence like this continues to pile up against the “theory” of evolution, proving that the teaching of evolution is the result of bad science, not good science. True science inspects the evidence and proposes a theory and goes to look for more supporting evidence. Bad science assumes something is true and fakes the evidence to try to prove it. As the evidence piles up it continues to contradict the false assumption.

When Darwin first proposed the “theory” of evolution, men who had rejected God were desperate to find a “natural” explanation for where we came from. They were delighted and set out to find proof of the theory. When they found none, they began to fake it. They “discovered” Piltdown man, who was concocted from a human brain case with an orangutan’s lower jaw, with filed teeth and a filled cavity. They glued moths to tree trunks for pictures that were debunked after they were used in millions of text books. They assembled “Lucy” from bones, that some believe could belong to monkeys, scattered over a mile apart.

So, who is evolutionist’s creator? Time! When asked how the complexity of a functioning eyeball could evolve, their only answer is “millions of years.” Yet, even their physicists admit that everything in the universe is falling apart, not getting more organized.

This kind of bad science is behind much of Satan’s lies. Evidence that homosexuals are “born that way” is non existent but many have bought the lie. Bad science is also behind the effort to find other worlds inhabited by aliens who may have found the solution to the world’s ills.

God says that the solution to man’s problem is a change of heart, not some fix by alien beings from another, more advanced world. Bad science is also behind the effort to alter the DNA to make a super race of people who never get sick or die. Again, bad science is being used by godless men to sell a delusion (lie) to those who reject God.1

The Apostle Paul warned Timothy to avoid “profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:” It is amazing that Paul’s description is a perfect fit for false science such as evolution.2

Evolution and those who support it are indeed, profane. Webster says, “profane” is “characterized by irreverence or contempt for God.” Most evolutionists have chosen to believe that man came from primordial soup instead of being created by God. Some try to shoehorn God into the process but have to deny the first chapters in Genesis to do it.

Bad science is also obviously in “opposition” to God when it works so hard to find another origin of the universe.

Good science, on the other hand, has given us ways to use God’s creation to build the most prosperous nation in history. That prosperity has funded missionary efforts taking the gospel to all nations. Now the lies of evolution, Marxism, humanism, globalism and false religions have created world-wide chaos. Jesus said that the end would come after the gospel had been preached to all nations.3 But we are supposed to keep winning the lost by exposing Satan’s lies until the last minute. The best way to find those open to the gospel in any crowd is wide seeding of gospel tracts.

Recent weeks have seen a number of new maneuvers by Pope Francis pushing the causes of a world religion and world government.

On the religious front, the pope and Anglican Archbishop Justin Welby recently met in Rome to pledge their “undeterred” efforts to “see their two churches” formally reunited. Declaring agreement on baptism, communion, and use of the Bible, they admitted remaining differences on the role of women in ministry and views on sexuality. Should the Vatican succeed in absorbing the Anglicans and Episcopalians, some 85 million new members would be added to the pope’s idolatry.

An article in the last issue of BATTLE CRY ("Lutherans Decided Reformation 'Struggle' Is Over") detailed the meeting between the pope and the Lutheran World Federation on the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Reformation. During his trip to the year-long celebration in October he suggested six new “Beatitudes” to deal with today’s problems.

One conferred a blessing on “those who helped protect and care for our common home.” This continued his signature theme of environmentalism, the subject of a recent encyclical. The pope has chosen to push the climate change hoax as a common enemy that all religions and political ideologies can relate to.

Another addressed immigration with a plea for mercy for the “abandoned and marginalized.” Here he was building support for the developed nations to open their arms to the floods of refugees from the turmoil in other nations. Doing so will overwhelm their resources bringing the economic and social chaos necessary for the rise of the antichrist.

Still another highlighted “those who pray and work for full communion between Christians.” Many evangelicals and other Protestants have fallen for the pope’s enticements to unity. While Catholicism has steadfastly refused to give an inch on its core beliefs in a wafer god, Virgin Mary goddess, and salvation by works, Protestants have abandoned biblical truth for the siren song of love and unity at any cost.

Other “new beatitudes” dealt with forgiveness for persecution, seeing “God in every person,” and sacrifice for others.

Information also surfaced recently about Francis’s involvement in the United Religions Initiative (URI) while he was Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio in Argentina. URI is a movement started by a San Francisco Episcopal Bishop, William Swing. URI promotes interfaith dialog and cooperation with the goal of persuading all religions to live in harmony for the good of all. Financial supporters include George Soros and Bill Gates.

The pope’s involvement fits neatly with his other efforts for world political and religious unity. URI boasts of 200 chapters in 80 countries and works closely with the UN on mutual initiatives promoting globalization, again preparing for the antichrist.

In a recent speech the pope warned against a “virus of polarization,” the turmoil in the world created by hostility between different nationalities, races, or beliefs. Comments like this also come from the pope’s agenda to destabilize existing governments preparing for the rise of the antichrist to establish a one world government and religion.

This Jesuit pope is openly campaigning for the new world order: ecumenism, the blending of religions, and globalism, the elimination of nation states and establishment of a one-world government and a one-world economy. To achieve this, all “extremists” must be eliminated, including those who reject a one-world Bible and who dare to “proselytize” (soul winners).

Jesus said the night would come when we could not work for the kingdom. New laws in Russia, China, Egypt, and India are making soul winning more difficult. Shadows are also gathering in the Western World.

We need to get more gospel out while we can. Tracts are still the cheapest way to reach more people in a short time.

Lutheran officials are joining Senior Roman Catholics to make October 31, 2017 the end of their Protestant “protesting.” That date marks the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s posting of his “95 Theses” on the door of a Wittenberg church. That event is considered as the beginning of the split from Rome’s counterfeit “church,” that released the true gospel to “all nations.”

In the joint announcement, they claim that: “The awareness is dawning on Lutherans and Catholics that the struggle of the 16th century is over. The reasons for mutually condemning each other’s faith have fallen by the wayside.”

This can only be explained by the descendants of Luther abandoning the Bible. The biblical “reasons” have not changed. That means that either they gave up the Bible or have twisted the meaning —or both.

Those “reasons” included (and still include) worship of a wafer god and the Virgin Mary goddess, and bowing to a pontiff who claims to be Christ’s vice president in charge of all religion on the earth. The indulgences that Luther objected to are still being handed out as get-out-of-purgatory cards. Alternate mediators are still being installed with Mother Teresa being the latest example.

The article announcing this event cites “ecumenism, globalization and the secularization of Western societies” as the cause for this “celebration.” If we understand biblical prophecy, these terms illustrate how we got here and where we are going.

The “secularized” societies have decided they can build heaven on earth without God. Through science and reason they will conquer disease, poverty and even aging and death.

Then, through “ecumenism,” all religions will agree on a common teaching and values supported by common literature including a gutted Bible. Thus “globalization” will unite all economies, political systems, and religions, which they hope to merge into a harmonious “global” community. All “fundamentalists” will be charged with extremism and marked for elimination.

Piece by piece, this utopian fantasy of heaven on earth is being assembled. But the preserved Bible that we have today says that it won’t happen. It speaks of the spirit of anti-Christ that is behind all this humanistic maneuvering. Then, at last, the incarnation of that spirit will emerge as the beast out of the bottomless pit.

But how do we know that? Because we have the KJV, a complete Bible, one with a solid history of God’s promised protection of His word. The creeping confusion of modern Bibles is well along toward producing the gutted one world Bible that will support that one world religion. But the PR campaign against the Classic English King James has almost succeeded in the minds of even the “Protestants.”

So, should Bible believers join the 70 million Lutherans who belong to the Lutheran World Federation in calling for the end of Protestantism? Is there really nothing to “protest” any longer, as Paul Crouch declared several years ago on TBN?

The celebration statement claimed that “belief in Jesus” was enough for unity. But is the Roman wafer Jesus the same as the Biblical Christ? Should we repoint our prayers to the Mary goddess and hundreds of “patron saints”? Shall we give up the assurance of salvation through Christ’s finished work on the cross for a hope-so eventual exit from purgatory?

Sorry, Rome hasn’t changed. These “sheeple” Protestants have abandoned the Biblical Jesus for sweet ecumenical wine. God commands us to come out of this counterfeit, prostitute “church,” to avoid suffering her plagues on judgment day.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan have just pledged 3 billion dollars to “cure, prevent or manage all diseases” by the end of the century. Chan, a pediatrician, is hoping to spare the pain she sees when she delivers bad news to parents. Few people would argue with this noble goal.

But it is one example of an impossible dream held by so many of the leaders in the “world.” It is a place opposed to God’s plan of salvation, redemption and true abundant life.

The dream sits squarely on the lie of evolution. This generation, baptized in technology, believes that they can speed up evolution by altering DNA and create a super race, freed of disease, aging, poverty and hatred. Robots, bright with artificial intelligence, will be willing servants to bring a utopia of abundance and harmony.

This counterfeit heaven on earth will be funded by the mountainous fortunes amassed by such as Zuckerberg and his techno-cohorts. Sadly, many who claim to believe the Bible are buying into this fantasy instead of discerning the “signs of the [end] times” that describe the increasing chaos until Christ comes to rule in righteousness.

Daniel is told in chapter 12 that “—many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” This certainly describes our freeways and internet. But he was also told that: “Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.”

We still see multitudes around the world, coming into Christ’s Kingdom and being “purified, and made white.” But also many are “tried,” with persecution rising in much of the world. Instead of being on the threshold of a new, man-made era of harmony and abundance, those who “do wickedly” will torpedo the dreams of those who refuse to include God in their plans.

America’s prosperity is the direct result of including God and honoring His word. That abundance has financed the spread of the gospel to all nations, just as Christ promised in Matt. 24:14. After that, though, He said that the end would come, not some man-made utopia.

Only righteousness can exalt a nation (Prov. 14:34.) As long as the hearts of sinful men are unchanged, sin will bring reproach: poverty, war, hatred, by those who “do wickedly.” The enemy of men’s souls, the trinity of “world, flesh and the devil” will not permit man to get his dream, no matter how much money they spend.

Daniel was told that the wise will understand. And Solomon declared that “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise” (Prov. 11:30). Never before in history has temptation of the “world” been more subtle for the Bible believer.

Church leaders and future leaders are told that using tracts is old fashioned and doesn’t work. Evangelism must be done through the long process of building a relationship to get permission to share the gospel.

But random sowing of the gospel seed does work. Thousands have written or called Chick Publications, testifying of changed lives from the message in a single tract —or a series of tracts found at random times.

Is there a Death-bed Window into Eternity?

There have always been stories of death-bed agony or ecstasy in the last moments of life. So, when the tract, Kitty in the Window, portrayed a gruesome death scene of a face frozen in horror, one soul winner wrote to Chick Publications with her own story.
She was a pastor’s wife and told how a mother and children received Christ and began attending their church. The husband was violently opposed to the gospel and ordered the pastor off his property. Eventually he prevented his family from attending church.

Later, the family called the pastor to come visit the man who was seriously ill in the hospital, hoping his heart might have been softened. But it wasn’t! He again ordered the pastor away.

As it appeared that the man would surely die, the pastor’s wife called the family to see if she might be more accepted by the man. They agreed to try. She relates what happened:

“The family said yes since he was so sick and probably wouldn’t be mean to me. But when I got there —I watched him die. It was the most awful and frightening thing I had ever seen. He sat up in the bed with his eyes wide open and mouth gaping. His arms flung in the air and he said, “Help me!” The machines then began to buzz, nurses came, and his family was screaming together, ‘He went to hell! Oh, God, he went to hell.’ The nurses closed the man’s eyes and put his hands down to a normal position. As long as I live I will never forget that death.”

Someone has reasoned that modern medicine has changed this so that we rarely see this today. Most people die in hospitals where they are carefully monitored and given sedatives in the last hours, dulling the senses and “allowing a peaceful death.”

But this may be denying us strong evidence of the reality of the hereafter. One Chick Publications staff member, who grew up in Mexico, said that such portrayals of distress, or bliss if they are believers, are common where she lived.

One research file obtained on the internet listed hundreds of deathbed stories, posted at http://www.cuttingedge.org/shaw/. The book is old but the experiences are timeless and descriptions highly detailed. Some are even of famous “infidels.”

Other accounts are of famous believers who displayed great joy at being welcomed by angels or deceased family members.

Part of our witness as believers is to remind people of the long view. Life does not stop at the grave as evolutionist and humanists would have us believe. Satan’s answer to these death-bed experiences is hallucinations of the expiring mind, but man cannot escape the spirit within that whispers otherwise.

And when we hand someone a gospel tract that speaks to that vacuum in the soul, some will respond to Christ’s gift. Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing who will respond and who will reject the message. That’s the reason Jesus used the parable of the sower to show the need to spread the gospel seed widely.

Over the centuries, gospel tracts have played a major part in preparing people for revival. Never has there been a more desperate need for revival, than now. More and more missionaries are discovering that if they saturate a community with Chick tracts, they often get sufficient response to start a congregation. We were so excited! My wife Deborah and I were going to hear my Bible college Greek professor preach on the Resurrection at a local church. He said Mark 16 would be his only text. I was sure of what he would say. But I was so wrong.

Instead, this text critic told us about some “very significant omissions” in “the oldest manuscript,” Codex Sinaiticus. He claimed that, originally, Mark 16 only had 8 verses. He guessed that the last 12 verses were added later, because someone simply misunderstood the abrupt ending to the Gospel.

In verse 8, the King James and most Bibles say the women left the tomb afraid —which seems a strange way to end the Gospel. But he claimed “afraid” could also mean “in awe.” So the women left the tomb “in awe” —end of story. He wouldn’t read verses 9-20, because, they weren’t in the “oldest and best” Greek Codices (big books) Sinaiticus or Vaticanus. So Jesus never appeared to anyone, nor even rose from the dead, according to this “text critic’s” gospel of Mark.

My wife Deborah and I left that church on Resurrection Day —with no bodily resurrection!

Our professor taught, like most text critics, that Mark was the first Gospel written. But all history shows the order as Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. Then text critics say that Mark was written by someone else, after Mark died. So none of the Gospels or New Testament books were written by eyewitnesses. But the books themselves say they are (Acts 4:20; 2 Cor. 15:4-8; 2 Peter 1:16-18; 1 John 1:1-4).

If you trust text critics, the original gospel had no bodily resurrection! That’s because their favorite two manuscripts out of 620 —Sinaiticus and Vaticanus— are missing the last 12 verses of Mark. But why trust them? Are they really “oldest and best”? Few text critics have even seen more than a page or two. They just trusted their professors— and doubted the consistent witness of history.

But things are changing. Now we can see high-quality photos of Vaticanus and Sinaiticus online. And we can ask the simple questions people should have asked over 150 years ago. Why would critics disregard the evidence of 5,700 other manuscripts? What made these two so good and reliable?

History proves that Satan couldn’t destroy the Bible. So he decided to use scholars who claim they can “fix” the Bible. And they do it with manuscripts that have no history. They just magically appeared: Vaticanus in 1475; and Sinaiticus in 1844. Suddenly everyone was supposed to change the Bible to match them. And they don’t even agree with each other in thousands of places!

To this day, no one has even done chemical tests to figure out the age and makeup of the parchment and ink of Sinaiticus. They’ve exposed other counterfeits that way. But they refuse to check Sinaiticus.

We already have a trustworthy Bible. The Hebrew Old Testament was passed down through the tribe of Levi, carefully copied. Later synagogues followed those practices. Then from the 500s to 1000 AD, the Masoretes continued carefully copying. The Masoretic Old Testament Text is reliable.

The New Testament was passed down in Greek by faithful believers. They continued to be carefully copied, despite persecution, exile and death. Though handwritten, they are amazingly consistent. When published, the result was the Protestant Reformation which produced the King James Bible, God’s preserved words, carefully and accurately translated into classic, enduring English. You can rely on every word of it, including Mark 16:9-20.

Anti-Jewish Persecution Rising in U.S.

A steep rise in anti-Semitism is occurring in America, with a significant portion in U.S. colleges. "We are disturbed that violent anti-Semitic incidents are rising," observed Jonathan Greenblatt, chief executive of the Anti-Defamation League.
Assaults Up 50 Percent

ADL reports that the number of actual assaults on Jews in the U.S. in 2015 was up more than 50 percent over the year before. It tracked 941 incidents of harassments, threats, and vandalism. 56 of those were actual, physical assaults. They believe that there may have been more not reported by the victims.

One international group with chapters in many universities is called the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement. Wikipedia describes it as a "global campaign attempting to increase economic and political pressure on Israel to comply with the stated goals of the movement: the end of Israel's occupation and colonization of Palestinian land."

Hate Crimes: Jews 56 Percent —Muslims 16 Percent

The FBI weighed in with a report that 56 percent of the anti-religious hate crimes in the U.S. in 2014 were "motivated by anti-Jewish bias." This compared with only 16 percent targeting Muslims.

Results of this indoctrination in the universities are showing up in the younger leaders in government and business. Relations between the Israeli government and the current White House have become increasingly strained.

Only in the last 75 years has America demonstrated serious anti-Jewish efforts. During America’s founding, George Washington received major help from Jewish merchants. Gratitude for that remained until the early 20th century.

Hitler’s Philosophy Came to America

As biblical righteousness began to give way to the cancer of humanism, Hitler’s philosophy spread to this continent. Business leaders such as Henry Ford bought into the white-race superiority doctrine as well as the age-old view of the “Jewish Problem.”

At that time, God moved world leaders to open the door for a Jewish homeland in Israel. Amazing stories are told of warring angels supporting Israel’s fight to defend their new home against impossible odds. America’s ambivalence toward the new state appears to have cost one U.S. president his life and disturbed the sleep of other ones.

Or how many today know that Henry Ford actually bought a newspaper publisher in order to spread Nazi propaganda? Or, that he actually got a medal from Hitler for his efforts?

Zechariah: Jerusalem a Burdensome Stone

Zechariah spoke of a day when Jerusalem would be a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone for all people, but He would cut in pieces all who came against it (Zech. 12). Today, we are seeing prophecy fulfilled. Satan’s kingdom is winding down.

Does Your Bible Have Doubting Footnotes?

Most people don’t pay much attention to the notes in their Bible. But they were put there to be helpful, so, what do you think when you read this in your Bible:

(New International Version 1984)

[The two most reliable early manuscripts do not have Mark 16:9-20.]

Or this:

(New King James Greek-English Interlinear)

[(16:9-20) NU brackets vv. 9-20 as not original.]

Or this:

(New King James Version)

[16:20 Vv. 9-20 are bracketed in NU as not original. They are lacking in Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus, although nearly all other mss. of Mark contain them.]

So what are we supposed to think? The first one is pretty simple: Mark 16:9-20 is not reliable. The second and third ones are less direct; filled with unintelligible gibberish that only the highly initiated can decipher.

If we common folk get curious, what could we learn? First, I want to know —who says? Who is raising this doubt about this important passage that tells me about Christ being raised from the dead and His ascension? This even chips away at the Great Commission!

You say: “The Scholars!” Well, it was “scholars” who gave us the “theory” of evolution. And are they really being helpful here? This is my BIBLE! My eternal destiny depends on this book. And the scholars don’t know if these verses belong in it!? So, what else do they want me to doubt?

It gets worse. Author David W. Daniels says that when you research deeper into these scholars’ thinking, they claim that Mark was the first gospel written (about 80 AD, years after Mark was dead!) and these verses were probably added later by the “church.” Furthermore, the other three gospels were written even later, by who-knows-who, and based on Mark, so maybe they did not originally have anything about the resurrection and ascension, either. Luke 24:51 contains the only reference to the ascension of Christ in the Gospels, and it’s missing from Sinaiticus, as well!

See where this goes? All behind an “innocent” little footnote. But it gets even worse. The third example mentions the Sinaiticus and the Vaticanus. Sinaiticus is ¾ of a Bible written in Greek that was “discovered” in the mid-1800s. Vaticanus was held by the Vatican, seen by almost no one, until after Sinaticus was published. Again, the “scholars” decided, on dubious evidence, that they were really old, like around 300 AD.

Well, modern technology has given us a whole new look. Please notice that the third example states that “nearly all other manuscripts of Mark contain this.” Would you believe all 618 other Greek manuscripts? Why would TWO out-vote 618? The clue is in the first example: “the two most reliable early manuscripts.” The “scholars” again decided that these two are more reliable, simply because they are “early.” The assumption is that the closer you get to the “original autographs” that the apostles wrote, the more accurate. (Please remember that they believe the gospels were not written by the apostles, but someone later after 80 AD.)

Would you believe that almost no one was able to see the whole Sinaiticus until about 7 years ago? Pieces available were scattered from England to Russia. But now someone combined it all on the internet. And what Daniels has discovered looks very suspicions —but complicated. He has laid out a series of YouTube videos that raises serious evidence against the assumed age of both manuscripts. But, if they are not “oldest,” can they still be the “best?” No, because their being “reliable” depends on the fact they are so close to the “originals.”

But when Daniels looks at “best,” he learns that there are thousands of other discrepancies like the one in Mark 16. One-fourth of the books are missing from the Sinaiticus and both include the fairy tales called the Apocrypha, used by the Vatican to support some of its pagan doctrines.

Are You an Extremist?

“The decades old trend, that Christianity is irrelevant, is increasingly giving way to the notion that Christianity is bad for society,” declares the Christian pollster Barna Group.

As suicide bombers target airports and subways, “religious extremism” is increasingly blamed. Governments struggle to maintain a balance of freedom for all beliefs, but it is obvious to the public that religious belief is the motivation behind the jihadists. After the Brussels bombing the pope asked for prayer for the terrorists who were “taken in by cruel fundamentalism.” Islam is okay, it’s just those “extreme fundamentalists.”

Unfortunately, as the general public becomes more non-religious, Bible believers get painted with the same brush. There is rising concern about strange people who go to church instead of brunch on Sunday, who read an old book of legends about a mythical being who rose from the dead, and who question evolution. The last straw is when these weirdos engage in “proselyting,” and try to convert your children. These “extremists” need to be watched.

Satan has always tried to push the gospel into the margins. As usual, the change in the meanings of words is a tip-off to where it is going. Over the past 50 years, “fundamentalist” has gone from someone who is admired for holding fast to the fundamental doctrines of scripture, to synonymous with Muslim “extremists” who act out the “fundamental” doctrines of the Qur’an.

Adding to the confusion is the pope’s statement that Christians and Muslims both worship the same God. This lie is also held by many western government leaders. Even former President George W. Bush stated this right after 9/11.

But when the heart is unredeemed, liberty becomes freedom to sin. Then, Satan’s false religions become tools for death and destruction —his ultimate goal. Then Satan can sell the idea that all religions are bad, including biblical Christianity.

Increasingly, we who were known as strange “fundamentalists,” are lumped together with more suspicious “extremists” on the way to becoming feared “radicals.” What was once mainstream biblical views on hell, sodomy, and marriage are now considered antiquated Neanderthal concepts.

So, what’s a soul winner to do? The Great Commission doesn’t give us room to run and hide. More and more we are ambassadors from a foreign Kingdom, on assignment to this alien world that is under Satan’s heel. We must keep up our witness of the joys and benefits of our Kingdom —His love and sacrifice for lost sinners.

When we see ourselves as the sower in the parable, we know that not all gospel seed will sprout. We must spread generously, however, for there to be a maximum harvest. In the hustle and bustle of living, there is rarely time for discussion about the Kingdom. But it only takes a few seconds to hand someone a tract containing the seed of the gospel. When we do, then the Spirit has something to water, and God gives the increase.

Satan’s “extremists” bring death and destruction. We must be winsome “extremists” graciously inviting the bewildered to consider our Kingdom and our King whose name is true Love.

But we are under the same instruction as Ezekiel in chapter 3:18. We will be held accountable if we neglect to warn the sinner.

Why Mutilate the Body? It's About the Soul!

The current dust-up over forcing ladies to accept men in their restrooms and showers is causing a lot of rethinking. This, in addition to recent stories of young children receiving hormone treatments to change their gender.

Trevin Wax asks a number of questions in an article on The Gospel Coalition website entitled "7 Troubling Questions About Transgender Theories." One question illustrates Satan’s central strategy to lock in the people caught in this bondage.

Wax’s question number 3: "When a person feels a disjunction between one's sex at birth and one's gender identity, why is the only course of action to bring the body into closer conformity with the person's psychological state, rather than vice versa?" In other words, why is it necessary to alter the features of the body (by hormones or surgical mutilation), instead of the beliefs of the soul?

Wax is referring to the practice of hormone therapy and surgical sex change rather than dealing with what is clinically known a “gender dysphoria.” In fact, several states have been pressured to outlaw any attempt by professional therapists to help troubled children recover from this dysphoria (confusion).

Satan knows where his weakness is in this debate and is attempting to close the door to lock these slaves into this destructive life style. By convincing governments to pass laws against professional counseling, this is only one step away from outlawing witnessing to homosexuals. This will likely come about when it becomes a hate crime to approach someone about God's biblical view of this sin.

God does not leave any room for debate on any sexual identity outside of male and female based on birth. A definite division even on clothing is clear in Deut. 22:5 so that there is no confusion introduced into society.

The whole "sexual revolution" has occurred because the culture has come to approve all kinds of unbiblical sexual activity. Mankind’s natural curiosity and fallen nature wants to explore whatever the culture provides or approves. Therefore, if sin becomes legal, and the culture approves it, even young children have no defense, especially when the parents are willing to fund the hormone treatment.

Satan does not let up until all doors are shut against the gospel. That is the end game of the homosexual steam roller. Toleration is not the goal; only full approval. All objection must be silenced backed by the power of the state.

Yet, the gospel will never be completely silenced. As soul winners, our mandate is basically one-on-one. The Kingdom that we serve, is bigger than any earthly province. We must stress that “gender dysphoria” is curable by the blood of Christ. No need to change the features of the body. When the heart is renewed, the body will be fine.

We cannot, however, overlook the role of Satan’s henchmen. As emphasized in the Chick tract, Home Alone, demon involvement must be addressed by the power of the Holy Spirit. As Wax points out, this is not about the shape of the body, it is about the condition of the soul. Yet, modern psychology, without spiritual rebirth, has proven ineffective, to the point that homosexual behavior has been declassified as a mental disease.

Soul winners should welcome any help from the government in curbing this sin and protecting our freedom to witness. But the final solution is a new creature in Christ, one lost soul at a time. In our darkening culture, we must soberly pray for greater compassion for those in this bondage, and more opportunity to share how God’s genuine love can satisfy where Satan’s counterfeit cannot.

God Angry About Dividing His Land

Anyone who assumes that the U.S. has always been supportive of Israel and the Jews, needs a closer look at our history. Originally, the founding fathers recognized them as part of our Judo-Christian heritage and treated them well.

Prosperous Jews responded by generously funding the war efforts that won our freedom from the oppression of Britain’s King George. From then to the rise of Hitler, there was, basically, a close relationship.

But, as humanism began to replace America’s biblical perspective, some U.S. leaders started buying into the rising anti-Semitism. For all the good that Henry Ford did for modern transportation, it is shocking to learn that he was sympathetic to Hitler.

The feelings were mutual because on July 30, 1938, Hitler awarded Ford the Grand Cross of the German Eagle for Ford’s 75th birthday. This was after Ford published anti-Jewish books and bought a newspaper to run articles against Judaism.

From that time on, America’s attitude toward the Jews began to deteriorate. President Franklin D. Roosevelt refused to help Jews escaping from Hitler’s holocaust, even turning back a ship load trying to find asylum.

When World War II ended, FDR fought against Israel becoming a nation. His abrupt death allowed Harry Truman to switch back to helping them. He was the president who immediately recognized Israel as a nation when it was formed in May 1948.

Another president, Richard Nixon, was also in a position to assist Israel in 1973 when the Arabs again tried to push the Jews into the sea. In the middle of the night, Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir woke Nixon and pled for military support.

Oddly enough, Nixon’s mother had long ago admonished him to “help Israel,” if he was ever in a position to do so. That night, through Meir’s pleas, Nixon claimed he also heard his mother’s voice. He immediately ordered a massive air lift of supplies which turned the tide of the battle.

Subsequent presidents, up to the present, have pressured Israel, one way or another to give up more of God’s land to the Arabs. Several references by the Old Testament prophets find God using the term: “My Land.”

Author John McTernan details the squeeze on modern Israel by Western Nations in his book, As America Has Done To Israel. Israel has agreed several times to try the idea of “land for peace.” Each time, they have come out on the short end of the deal.

McTernan also points out the cost to those nations who have failed to bless Israel. According to Gen. 12:3 and elsewhere, scripture is clear about the curses that follow dealings with those who turn against the Jews.

Because America has begun to deal fast and loose with Israel, major calamities in the U.S. have escalated. Billion dollar disasters, which occurred only every few years before 1987, now number in the dozens.

In 2011, 242 disasters were declared with 12 costing over a billion dollars each. Hurricane Sandy alone in 2012, did $75 billion in damages. Often, these could be directly co-related to some act against Israel’s benefit.

McTernan’s book, and the new Crusader Comic” Unthinkable, based on his book, give convincing details of God’s blessing on those who bless Israel and His curse on the nations who offend His people or threaten His Land. Did you notice, also, that the curse usually coincides with corrupt leadership? At the same time of America’s shift against Israel, sin is increasingly being legalized.

Besides offering McTernan’s book, Chick Publications published the new Crusader Comic and a tract on the subject: Somebody Angry? Another favorite tract on the subject is Love the Jewish People. We must not forget that God still requires everyone to come to Him through Jesus, the Jews’ Messiah.

Brainwashing in 4/4 Time

Brainwashing is easy...Hitler's director of propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, told the world how to do it: Hit the streets with your message long enough; repeat it over and over, and soon they will believe it. History shows how well he made it work in Germany.

That is exactly what is happening today with rock music. Through constant repetition, the message of rock music is training the next generation. What is that message? Here is what the shakers and movers of rock music say it is. Frank Zappa, superstar of Mothers of Invention fame: "Rock music is sex. The big beat matches the body's rhythms." David Bowie: "Rock 'n' roll will destroy you. It lets in lower elements and shadows. Rock has always been the devil's music." Richard Oldham, manager of ROLLINGSTONES: "Rock music is sex and you have to hit them (teenagers) in the face with it." Alice Cooper: "The whole idea behind the thing for me is rebellion." Glenn Frey of THEEAGLES: "I'm in rock music for the sex and narcotics." Mick Jagger of THEROLLINGSTONES: "Ours is a group with built-in hate. We communicate aggression and frustration to an audience, musically and visually." "We're moving after the minds and so are most of the new groups." Spencer Dryden, drummer: "Get them when they're young. Bend the minds."

There you have it, right from the horses' mouths. Their goal, through constant repetition, is to fill the minds of the young with perverted sex, hatred, rebellion and drugs. It's open warfare.

And now, "Christians" who want to look as much like the world as possible, are bring the primitive "beat" into churches. The result? Christian young people are developing an ever-stronger rock sound so much alike, you will find them listening to both.

Slowly, but ever so surely, the message of today's rock stars oozes into the mind and soul, for repetition is the essence of brainwashing. And they're doing it to your kids.

Right now, in almost any church you attend, something occurs that has rarely happened anywhere before the late 20th and early 21st century.

People use more than one Bible.

Rick Warren’s The Purpose Driven Life (2002) set the 21st century stage, using 15 different English translations and justifying it in an Appendix. He wrote, “—I have deliberately used paraphrases in order to help you see God’s truth in new, fresh ways. English-speaking people should thank God that we have so many different versions to use for devotional reading.”

15 different translations help you? You may find two or three synonyms, similar-meaning words, in a language, but 15? You’re going to have interpretations -people’s private commentaries— not translations. Want an example?

In Deuteronomy 23:18 God said, “Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow—” Sounds simple enough. The word “dog” (keleb) is translated “dog” all through the Old Testament. It means “dog,” plain and simple. But in modern versions, you get interpretations like these:

“male prostitute’s earnings” (in various forms, Holman Christian Standard, NIV, NRSV, NLT, NET, Common English Bible)

“the money given to one used for sex purposes in the worship of the gods” (Bible in Basic English)

This isn’t translating. This is interpreting. They placed their opinion into the text, instead of the words God preserved. A true translator won’t let his personal opinions or interpretations stop him from accurately transferring the Bible concept to the target language.

But most of those 15 Bibles don’t just have changed translations. They are also translated from a changed text. As it says in Did the Catholic Church Give Us the Bible?, historically there are two different streams of manuscripts. The northern, preserved, apostolic stream comes from Antioch, where the disciples were called Christians first (Acts 11:26). But the southern, polluted stream seeps out of Alexandria, Egypt, the home of apostate Jewish and Christian-sounding philosophers.

Scholars from the southern stream took out the words of God they disagreed with and inserted words that fit their opinions. And yet most modern Bibles come from that polluted southern stream.

Bible-believers from the northern stream faithfully passed down and accurately translated the original concepts into other languages, without inserting their own private interpretations. So then, these preserved words aligned with God’s standard.

All measuring tapes in the U.S. have to be calibrated against a standard, kept by the National Bureau of Standards. Jesus said His words would not pass away (Matt. 24:35). He left us a standard, so we can test all other “translations” and interpretations.

Remove Acts 8:37, and you take away words that refute infant baptism. Remove “yet” from John 7:8 and Jesus becomes a liar. Remove “without a cause” from Matthew 5:22 and Jesus becomes an angry sinner! See why we need a standard?

An article on Crosswalk.com entitled, “How Do I Find the Right Bible?” ends with the question: “What about you? Which translation of the Bible do you use?” Who cares? Many modern Bible teachers spend so much time talking about using the Bible that they forget the point is to believe the Bible! They can’t all, as one author claimed, “contain the life-giving words of God.”

God’s words do not contradict each other.

People use other Bibles but they do not believe them. How can they? They are constantly changed and disagree with each other in crucial places!

But thank God, we have His holy and preserved words in English, the King James Bible, straight from the northern stream. We can believe every word of our Bible.

It has never been a matter of which Bible we use. What matters is which Bible we believe. Whether we use one Bible or 15 from the southern, polluted stream, filled with men’s interpretations, we will only be deceiving ourselves.

Scientists recently examining fossils are baffled by several discoveries that don't fit their evolutionary assumptions of a billion-year-old earth. With the new tools such as the electron microscope and DNA analysis, soft tissue and blood cells are showing up inside fossilized bones believed to be 40+ million years old.

They freely admit that this is next to impossible for blood cells to fossilize without decaying. To cap it off, a fossilized mosquito was recently discovered in a shale formation in Montana. The mosquito was still engorged with fossilized blood from its last victim.

According to evolution's theory, the mosquito would have had to fall in a pond, sink to the bottom and be slowly covered with silt until the million-year process of fossilization could take place. They admit that blood cells could not possibly remain intact through those eons of time. But, instead of considering the possibility that it could have happened on a Biblical time frame, they choose to just scratch their heads in bewilderment, hoping "science" will eventually come up with an explanation.

To Bible believers, the answer is obvious: It is actually a young earth where the cataclysm of the world-wide flood suddenly buried God's original verdant creation quickly fossilizing plants and animals with the pressure of the upheaval.

Creationists quickly pointed out that evolutionary dating is flawed by circular reasoning. The mosquito was found in a shale formation that evolutionists claim to be around 40 million years old. And how do they know that? They assume that the sediment that made the shale was deposited bit by bit over time with no sudden changes in the environment.

So how do they date the shale? By looking at the fossils in the shale that they have dated from a fictional geological column. And how are the fossils dated? By their position in the shale.

This circular reasoning is the best the evolutionist can come up with in his attempt to leave God out of the process. God keeps pealing back the layers of their false assumptions, exposing them to the truth in case some will have an honest heart and consider the possibility of a Creator. 

If challenged, the evolutionist will shoot down the messenger, rather than consider that their theory could be wrong. God won't force the issue. He maintains a careful balance of evidence that allows man to freely choose to acknowledge or deny their Creator. But, for those with ears to hear, he sneaks in adequate evidence to believe the truth if they truly desire it.

Soul winners need to continually raise the issue of Creation. God said He would send strong delusion to those who reject the truth. Evolution surely qualifies as a strong delusion but we must expose that lie so those whose hearts are still open to truth will understand the issue. When I was a teenager, I was sucked into the occult by a simple phrase that unlocked the doorway to the occult. Oh, and I recently found it —in a commonly used Bible!

Want to know what it was? And what it had to do with this picture?

In high school, a friend of my dad’s gave me a book by Hermes Trismegistus. In it I learned a single phrase that is the basis of hermetic science (magic or occultism). It unlocked the doorway to the occult: “As above, so below.”

First, like the hands on the Baphomet image, it means that things on earth (below) come from or are affected by things above. That’s astrology, among other things.
Second, you are taught that it has to do with gaining power, “realizing your true potential.” At that point, you might get spirit guides to help. But how do you know if they’re good or evil? It’s easy. If some being says it will teach you secrets to give you power —it’s evil. God doesn’t do things that way.

But I didn’t know that. So, I got spirit guides. But seeking power led to new religious beliefs.

Opposites, like black and white, above and below, masculine and feminine, good and bad, took on new meanings. They say, “You cannot have one without the other.” That means you cannot have evil without good, or good without evil.

Then, since good and evil are simply opposites, that means ONE IS NOT BETTER THAN ANOTHER. They are all the same. “There IS no bad. There is just what works for you and what doesn’t work for you.” Sound familiar?

Baphomet actually represents what they call the path of enlightenment. And if you are one of “the elect,” then you will be let in on more secrets. At the highest levels, they tell you that Lucifer, who offered knowledge in Eden, was actually the good guy. That would make God Himself the bad guy. Such evil!

See, the Baphomet is not a real creature. It is really a bunch of occultic symbols showing the path to enlightenment, overcoming the light-bearer, Lucifer, to get power: to change metal into gold, or man into a god.

Today, Satanists and popular culture show Baphomet all over the place. Google “Baphomet clothing” and you get over 200,000 hits.

How do people on that path let others know they’re on that path? They use code words, like: “As above, so below.”

God condemns this upside-down thinking.

Isaiah 5:20-21: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!”

Oh, and that other Bible I told you about? It’s Eugene Peterson’s “The Message.” Look at his “Lord’s Prayer” in Matthew 6. It changes “Hallowed be thy name” to “Reveal who you are.” Why? Is God hiding?

Then it changes “Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven,” to “Do what’s best, AS ABOVE, SO BELOW.” There’s those code words. Why did he use them, since they’re not in the text? What kind of “message” is he sending? —And to whom?

Black and white are NOT two sides of the same force. God and whatever God wants, is good. Disobeying God is evil, plain and simple.

And Baphomet is a symbol of rebellion against God, no matter how you look at it. I want to obey God. So I’m sticking with what God said, in my King James Bible.

Pope Has a Plan to Fix the World

The pope has stepped into the push for global sustainability —the world-wide effort to "save the planet" from the destructive efforts of its human inhabitants. Blaming wasteful consumerism and selfish profiteering, he declares that the world is in a mess and he knows how to fix it.

His recent 44,000-word encyclical on the environment pushes the plan for a happy world where everyone loves everyone and mother earth. No one is allowed to have too much so that everyone can have enough. His underlying assumption is that there will be some kind of global authority with the power to enforce harmony and peace, and see that all injustice and intolerance is eliminated.

The pope has chosen the issue of global warming as the supreme danger to mother earth. Ignoring the ongoing debate about the cause, he declares it to be settled science that man's industrial and technological progress is primarily to blame.

So how does this play out in our neighborhood? California's Jesuit-trained governor, Jerry Brown, recently attended a Vatican conference of mayors hosted by the pope. While there he was welcomed also by the black pope, Jesuit General Adolfo Nicolás, and afterward spoke to the conference. The topic of discussion centered around Pope Francis's campaign to stop global warming.

Francis told the mayors that the United Nations needed to speed up its efforts against climate change and expressed hope that an upcoming world summit on the subject in Paris in December would produce an agreement on this. “The U.N. needs to take a strong position on this,” he added.

Several other speakers at the conference included Brown and New York Mayor Bill De Blasio. Brown touted California's efforts in reducing greenhouse gases as an example for other cities and states to follow. Pointing to his state's current record of 25% renewable energy and 40 percent of the nation's electric cars, he pledged to be at the front of the campaign for “sustainability.”

Brown had harsh words for climate change skeptics: “We have very powerful opposition that, in at least my country, spends billions on trying to keep from office people such as yourselves and elect troglodytes and other deniers of the obvious science,” Brown said.

In the process, Brown and other attendees signed a declaration stating that, “human induced climate change is a scientific reality, and its effective control is a moral imperative for humanity."

A significant dissenting voice is Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott who has consistently resisted getting involved in “global climate change politics.” Abbott's economic advisor, Maurice Newman, states flatly that the UN was using false models showing sustained temperature increases to end democracy and impose authoritarian rule.

“The real agenda is concentrated political authority,” Newman wrote. “Global warming is the hook—. It's about a new world order under the control of the UN,” he added. “It is opposed to capitalism and freedom and has made environmental catastrophism a household topic to achieve its objective.”

Besides UN control of the economy, the pope's “Christian” solution in his encyclical is for everyone to worship Rome's wafer god and Virgin Mary goddess. This further proves that the pope is not Christian, but, since idol worship and goddesses are common in all major religions, they will be another common denominator for the coming one-world religion.

Instead of seeing the bad weather as God's judgment and repenting, the world is believing the lie that man is to blame and falling for Satan's trap of world government. The Bible shows that a false Christ will rise up to solve the problems that sin has caused. And he will do it by controlling the economy with everyone having a mark before they can buy or sell.

So, it is not surprising that the false Christ in the Vatican wants to put the UN in control of the economy. And the manufactured threat of climate change is his tool to get everyone to agree with his plan.

But Jesus promised that all nations would hear the gospel before the end (Matt. 24:14). Modern printing, TV, and the internet has largely fulfilled that prophecy. Now we are seeing the beginning of the end. In the chaos, many hearts will be open to the gospel. We need to use what freedom we have left to diligently saturate our neighborhoods and communities with no-nonsense gospel tracts.

We may soon be unable to preach openly, but the little paper missionaries will be hard to stop. Anyone who has, or remembers reading a tract, will know how to turn to God when their time comes.

Biblical Marriage the Casualty of the "Sexual Revolution"

With Biblical marriage reeling under the attack by the virulent gay rights activists, we should have seen it coming. For fifty years, one court case after another has jackhammered away at the foundations of the family.

In most of history, “recreational sex” has replaced God’s plan for “one flesh” bonding of husband and wife when God’s laws are ignored.

Contraceptives were the first issue. In 1965, in a Connecticut case (Griswold v. Connecticut) involving the sale of contraceptives to married couples, an ominous seed was planted. Here the court "discovered" a right to privacy in the Bill of Rights for individuals instead of just in the sanctity of marriage.

By this time, godless Humanism had grown strong roots in our schools and legislatures. If man was truly the spearhead of evolution's progress, then whatever man wanted to do must be good, and whatever he did in private was nobody's business.

No unwanted blob of tissue growing in a womb could be allowed to hinder the enjoyment of those involved. So, in 1973, the court gave the owner of that womb permission to medically eliminate that inconvenience (Roe v. Wade).

More arrows in the heart of marriage followed rapidly. A Missouri case cut fathers out of the picture by voiding a law requiring spousal and parental consent to an abortion (Planned Parenthood of Central Missouri v. Danforth).

Parents of children were next. A New York law barring sale of contraceptives to 15-year-olds and younger was voided (Carey v. Population Services International). Parents no longer had the right to know if their child was planning premarital sex.In 1979, a Massachusetts law requiring parental consent for a minor’s abortion was struck down in Bellotti v. Baird.

Along the way, Texas’ anti-sodomy law was considered a violation of man’s “right to privacy” and was struck down in 2003 in Lawrence v. Texas.

With the foundations of marriage thus weakened, marriage itself came under fire. In 1993, Hawaii’s Supreme Court decided that the state’s marriage law violated the equal protection provision of the state constitution by not considering “sexual orientation.”

This direct attack on man-woman marriage alerted many, and the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) passed congress by a wide margin and many state legislatures passed similar bills.

However, gay rights activists, having succeeded in changing the discussion from “sexual preference” to “sexual orientation,” began attacking marriage in earnest.

If the evolving human animal now included a newly discovered sexual “orientation,” then it was “discrimination” to forbid any of the expressions of that sexuality. Anyone confused over his sexuality could claim victimhood when forbidden to explore new sexual experiments.

Federal and state governments rushed to add legal protection for these “victims,” adding “sexual orientation” to the long list of protected categories along with race, age, and disabilities discrimination.

In 2013 the U.S. Supreme Court gutted the DOMA (Windsor v. United States) after the president and the Justice Dept. refused to enforce it. The battle then moved to the States where bills were passed by popular vote to protect marriage. Powerful gay activists, many made rich by blossoming tech companies, poured millions into a blistering campaign against these votes. Across the country, homosexual judges or those sympathetic to the cause invalidated the laws put in place by the people, using anti-discrimination and personal privacy arguments.

Now, the drive is to eliminate any tattered remnant of normal marriage and put the bull’s eye squarely on the back of those who follow a biblical God.

Since marriage is the central issue, anyone who refuses to bake a wedding cake or design flowers for a same-sex wedding must be made an example of. And the complaints are lodged and fines imposed and everyone wonders what happened.

But this locomotive has been coming out of the dark tunnel for a long time. Only courageous soul winners can stop it. In past revivals no-nonsense gospel literature has played a vital role. We need to plant God’s truth about marriage far and wide.

Last September, in a third meeting with Pope Francis, former Israeli President, Shimon Peres,  suggested that a “U.N. of religions” be established and that the pope would be a good person to head it up. Peres noted that past wars were motivated by conquests for territory, but modern wars are now being “sparked above all with the excuse of religion.”

He suggested that the best way to “combat these terrorists who kill in the name of faith” would be to have someone with “an unquestionable moral authority that says in a strong voice ‘No, God does not want this and does not permit it.’”

Peres was interviewed by the Italian Catholic magazine, Famiglia Cristiana where he said that he believed that Pope Francis should be that “strong voice” because “he is perhaps the only leader who is truly respected.”

How sad that this former leader of God’s chosen people is so blinded by the Vatican’s new posture of friendship and the unbiblical dream of world harmony without Jesus. Yet, they do see that the only solution to present world chaos is world government, but overlook the fact that it will not work until Jesus, Himself, is the “strong voice” who will be able to command necessary “respect” when He returns to rule the world from Jerusalem.

Dear ones in Christ,

Let’s take a peek behind the scenes. We must always remember that the Devil is the father of lies (Jn 8:44). After the mess in the Garden of Eden, the Devil walked out as the god of this world (2 Cor. 4:4). Satan is on a short leash but when the great tribulation comes, that leash is removed for 7 terrible years. Thank God we won’t go into the coming nightmare.

Now if Satan controls the world system, like the news, media, politics, wars and religions, then we’re being fed nothing but lies. The only things we can trust are the words of God.

Ever since the printing of The Authorized Bible of 1611, Rome has cursed its existence. They’ve been trying for 400 years to destroy it. They finally pulled it off! Behold, we are up to our necks in all the new Bibles, all approved by the Vatican. What was once beloved, pure words of God are now detested in “Christian” circles.

Everyone’s on the band wagon, thanks to Satan’s public relations gang. The King James Bible has been smeared and rejected. Do I have anything against the Vatican who engineered all of this? Well, I am a little bothered when the Pope sits as God, the Father (Holy Father), also as God, the Son, (Vicar of  Christ) to his followers, and he speaks as God (The Holy Ghost) ex-cathedra. Yeah, I do have a few things against Rome’s antichrist. He is slightly presumptuous!

I have a lot of Christian friends who use the New King James (NKJV). They’re convinced that the genuine King James Bible is old and out of date. These are great folks. I have no problem with them. I just don’t trust that book. Whenever they read, I check it against my tried-and-true King James. I want to know what God REALLY said. Sometimes they match —and sometimes not.

Here are just three examples why I do not trust it.

[1.]The first one is in Acts chapter 3 where TWO verses, (13 and 26), in the NKJV say that Jesus is God’s servant. But my Bible says He’s God’s SON. Which one is it? Is He God’s servant, or God’s Son? We really need to get this one right! And I just don’t have time to read a Bible that doesn’t.

[2.]In 1st Corinthians 1:18, my traditional King James tells me that the preaching of the cross is the power of God to us who are saved. But the NKJV tells me that it is the power of God to us who are BEING saved. Once again, those are not the same. If I had been raised Catholic, I would be very comfortable with “being saved” because I would have been taught all my life that you cannot really KNOW you are saved. You are on the road to salvation. And if I faithfully do the rituals of the Mass, confession, last rites at death, and suffer a few centuries in purgatory for my sins, then that is added to what Jesus did and, hopefully, it will be enough to get me in to heaven.

But I’m not Catholic. I don’t believe that. Through Jesus, alone, I HAVE eternal life. Jesus finished the job. It’s a done deal.

[3.]There is a little something extra in Luke 23:34 that I hear was not in the first edition of the NKJV, but added later. Just a footnote. Not important, right? But here we see one of the big differences between Christianity and the other religions of the world. The Creator of the universe allows His creatures to torture and crucify Him. But on the cross, He prays, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” That’s big stuff. He forgave the Jews, the Romans, everyone, for this supreme insult. (And He forgives me, too). But there is that little footnote that says something like: “NU brackets the first sentence as a later addition.”

Oh, so they are telling me that the “better manuscripts” leave out His forgiveness, that it was added later? You mean, Jesus really didn’t say that? He really didn’t forgive the Jews? I guess, if I was into replacement theology, I might like to believe that God has cast off his people and replaced them with someone else, but I would have to ignore the verses that say the promises to Abraham were forever. But you see, I’m not into that stuff. I still believe that the Jews are God’s chosen people, that Israel is His chosen land, and that He is going to keep all those promises —like my Bible says.

The NKJV is full of “footnotes” that tell me what I am reading might not have been in the original. Does that build faith? No. So why are we giving a doubt-producing Bible to a generation of young Christians? Why not just teach them the meanings of the classical English in the King James? In school we expect them to learn all the new words of the great technologies we use every day. It’s called getting educated.

When Christians in America went soft on sin a century ago, sin became increasingly legal. The fruit was not immediately obvious but now we are beginning to see a horrible harvest.

Our children are a prime target. The Girl Scouts of USA recently announced that transgenders are welcome to join. If a boy is recognized as living as a girl “then Girl Scouts is an organization that can serve her in a setting that is both emotionally and physically safe,” states the GSUSA web site.

After years of resistance, the Boy Scouts recently gave ground in admitting openly homosexual members, while still resisting openly “gay” leaders. This only slightly lessened the attacks.

For years, our public schools have been purged of all references to God or His words. Now we have a high school in California who is holding a sex education “pleasure workshop” led by a “pleasure activist,” who also leads “workshops” for a sex toy porn shop.

For decades, the traditional family has been under assault. Early sitcoms made the father of the house a stumbling buffoon. No-fault divorce opened the door for both to ignore solemn vows and avoid the hard work of raising a family. Government welfare also financed easy escape from family responsibilities.

Now, this summer, the U.S. Supreme Court has to decide if redefining the family is legal. But abandoning God’s design for the creation and nurturing of children has consequences.

Recent studies show that fatherless homes provide the vast majority of our ballooning prison population. Two-parent homes are much more likely to produce college graduates and productive citizens. Despite media claims otherwise, studies are surfacing, along with testimony of children raised in same-sex “families” that they have suffered serious emotional harm.

Medically, promiscuous men-to-men (M2M) sex accounts for two-thirds of the new HIV cases in the U.S. and 75% of syphilis infections. They are 17 times more likely to develop anal cancer.

Bible believers are becoming increasingly the target with the full force of the government coming down on the heads of Christian business owners. The attacks have been primarily against flower shops and bakeries who refused to supply homosexual weddings. Fines have been levied and death threats are not uncommon against these staunch believers.

Having been somewhat stymied in cowing the Bible believing churches, violence is their next strategy. Just this week, two churches in North Carolina were vandalized. Windows were broken, signs were ripped up and jammed through the grill of the church bus. Pro-homosexual graffiti included expletives.

In California, a recent law makes it illegal for licensed family therapists to counsel teens looking for help to overcome same-sex attractions. The President is pushing for a similar federal law.

The U.S. Supreme Court is scheduled to rule in June on the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) that the president refuses to enforce. Seventy companies including Starbucks, Google, Microsoft and NIKE have filed a brief with the court complaining of the complexity of figuring out how to award family benefits to employees whose “marriage” may be legal in one state and not in another.

Just to show how far it can go, Denmark recently passed a law closing its “animal brothels” to stop a growing “erotic zoo” tourist trade.

Couple all this with the “innocent blood” of 57,000,000 dead pre-born babies, how can we ever again sing, “God Bless America?” Unless we have a quick and broad repentance, God’s wrath against the rottenness in Israel, described by the Prophet Ezekiel, will surely be our fate.

Genuine revivals in the past were often preceeded by saturation with no-nonsense gospel tracts. We need to do it again, while we still can.

One of the arguments that Roman Catholics have against Protestants is that Protestants are all fragmented into the hundreds of denominations. “Rome never changes” is a common theme. However, the present Jesuit pope is doing a left turn that illustrates how the Vatican has always tried to ride herd on wherever history happened to be going. Francis’s path is in direct line with the Vatican’s long range plan. Ex-Jesuit Alberto Rivera describes that centuries-long plan in the Alberto series of the Crusader comics available from Chick Publications.

The early papal institution was organized under Constantine in the 4th century. From that time on, the goal has been world-wide control using spiritual bondage. In the west, this peaked during the dark ages where the strategy was basically convert or die, or pay tribute.

Reaction to this Inquisition-punctuated period led to the Reformation in England and America and the Enlightenment in France and Europe. The popes initially backed Hitler and Lenin to regain control, but that phase did not go well.

In Asia, Jesuit “missionaries” schmoozed their way into the graces of the leaders for a time, until their goal of domination was discovered. Several dozen countries expelled the Jesuits declaring all “Christians” as unwanted. True missionaries have had difficulty penetrating some of those countries such as China and Japan, ever since.

So, where are we today? The tiger has turned sly fox. After World War II, Vatican planners decided to abandon warfare and stress ecumenical love, instead. Beginning in the early 1960s, they convened an “Ecumenical Council” dubbed “Vatican II.” The general purpose of the Council was to redirect the efforts of the “Church” to the modern world.

Much confusing language has been employed in this shift, but basically it is intended to keep the pagan doctrines of works salvation, virgin goddess worship, wafer god, priestcraft, etc. intact while making friendly noises to everyone outside. The language was changed from “heretics” to “separated brethren.” Leaders of other world religions, even governments, were invited to ecumenical prayer gatherings. A new, warm face was turned toward the Jews.

Most mainline Protestant denominations were quick to respond. Even Evangelicals fell for the new image, mostly ignoring the fact that none of the unbiblical doctrines were changed.

Now, with this new Jesuit pope, we see the next chapter. Rivera noted that Rome always adapts to the changing times. She sees clearly that the prevailing new world religion is secular humanism, expressed politically in the liberal “left.” Pope Francis is taking up the leftist, socialist talking points of anti-capitalism, climate change, preferential option for the poor, income inequality, anti-war, globalism, etc.

None of this is about the true, biblical gospel. It is all about Catholicism’s millennium-old thirst for world power. There has been much speculation over the years of the pope’s position as the last-days anti-Christ or maybe the False Prophet. One thing is sure: her pagan rituals guarantee that she is not part of the biblical church of Jesus Christ.

As soul winners, we need to be aware of Satan’s end-time strategies, but not give them any of our time that should be used to obey the Great Commission. All of the cataclysmic events of the book of Revelation are rapidly shaping up. While we have the freedom to do it, we need to reach out to every sinner we can with the life-giving Word of God. If we saturate our communities with no-nonsense gospel tracts, maybe we can promote a revival that would give us a little more time to continue witnessing.

A recent commotion at University of California, Davis, led to a walk-out by pro-Israel students with other students shouting “Allahu Akbar” as they left. The event occurred during a meeting of the Student Government Council who was voting on a Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) resolution.

BDS is a world-wide, pro-Palestinian (thus: anti-Israel) movement seeking to damage the Israeli economy. It has chapters on campuses to pressure the university trust funds to boycott Israeli businesses and investments.

After the walkout, the Student Council voted 8 to 2 in favor of the resolution to boycott and divest, much to the satisfaction of the pro-Hamas group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) who had championed the vote. Jewish leaders and their friends on campus knew the situation was serious when a couple of swastikas were painted on a Jewish frat house a few days later.

UC Davis leaders said that the student resolution does not affect their investment strategies which are set by the UC Regents. Nevertheless, this is only one example of a global effort to discredit Israel’s right to exist. BDS goals are the return of all Palestinian lands to Arab control and the dismantling of the wall that Israel has built to keep out suicide bombers. Of course, if done, Israel would simply cease to exist. This is just one small example of the rising tide of anti-Israel sentiment worldwide. Some of the campaign is the result of general Western hatred for the Jews fostered by Roman Catholicism’s “Replacement Theology.” For centuries, Rome has claimed that the “people of God” is now the “church” and God is done with Israel because they rejected their Messiah.

The Holy Land is just the repository of historical relics to be venerated by the “faithful,” and the Zionists should go off somewhere like Argentina to build their nation and leave the rest of the world in peace. This “anti-Semitism” has plagued the Jews for centuries culminating in Hitler’s attempt to solve the “Jewish problem.”

This latent anti-Israel sentiment in the Western World is only present in political and economic pressure on Israel, but a far more sinister dragon is breathing real fire on the neck of this sturdy little country. “Militant” Islam has vowed to eliminate both Israel (little Satan) and the “Great Satan,” America.

There are hundreds of pro-Islam groups like BDS dedicated to this larger cause. The rise of ISIS in Syria and Iraq is just the latest expression of the Qur’an-inspired violence that awaits all non-Muslim peoples if Islamists have their way.

So, what should the Bible believer do as we watch the “heathen rage?” World leaders are mostly focused on appeasement or military defeat. But the real solution is elsewhere, largely ignored by those leaders. Bible readers know that this is a cosmic spiritual war. Most of the governments of this world are “secular,” opting out of taking sides on spiritual issues. This leaves them defenseless against nations or movements that are fanatical about a spiritual mission.

Islam’s mission is to rule the world for Allah. Even “moderate” Muslims are committed by default to this mission, since they know of no other option.

As soul winners, that is where we come in. We have a superior spiritual option. We just need to get it out there where they can see it. Saturation with no-nonsense gospel tracts can help lay the foundation for the revival that we need to get Islam’s (and everyone else’s) attention.

Beheadings by ISIS are mild compared to the brutal tactics used by Hitler and Genghis Kan. Unless we get busy and promote revival, our time will be short before our freedom to do it will be squelched.

A recent article in Christianity Today is headlined: “Pop Francis: Why Everyone Loves the Pope.” It lauds Francis’ “unscripted” style “committed to breaking down the often-bitter rivalry between evangelicals and Catholics.” It mentions his recent apology to Italian Evangelicals for the Catholic religion’s participation in persecution of Pentecostals prior to World War II.

Note this statement from the article: “At the Second Vatican Council, the Catholic Church adopted a much more biblical approach, transforming its worship and fundamentally changing its relation to modern secular culture.”

How does a new PR campaign and an updated system of rituals make it more biblical? To be more biblical, purgatory would have to go, along with worship of the wafer-god and virgin goddess, works salvation, and the pope’s claim that tradition and the Magisterium are equal to or supersede Scripture.

Even after all these changes, we would have to ask, which Bible? Author David W. Daniels points out in his book, Why They Changed the Bible, how all modern Bibles are increasingly slanted to support Rome’s pagan dogmas. An entire section is devoted to the scheme to include the Apocrypha in the Bible. He describes how the Bible societies were, from the beginning, infiltrated with Jesuits or Vatican sympathizers. Bible societies agreed not only to change text wording to favor unbiblical Catholic teaching, but to add in the Apocrypha whenever requested. Bible translators all over the world are subject to a 1960s agreement with the Vatican to add the Apocrypha to any translation if the Catholic people groups ask for it. The history and tragic results of this are detailed in Why They Changed the Bible.

Seminaries all over the world are starting to require their students to get Bibles complete with something called the “Deuterocanonicals.” This is another word for what we know as the Apocrypha. It is also a deceptive word. It makes the reader think these fairytales, superstitions and occultism are actually a “secondary canon” on a level just below scripture —“scripture lite.” The truth is that they have raised men’s words to the level of God’s words and have lowered God’s words to the level of man’s.

The Vatican desperately needs the Apocrypha in the Bible. When they cannot distort a Bible passage to fit one of their pagan doctrines, they resort to the Apocrypha. For example, their teaching of purgatory is based on the Apocryphal books of 2 Maccabees 12:45 and Tobit 12:9. Using money to pay for sins  appears in Ecclesiasticus 3:30 “Water will quench a flaming fire; and alms maketh an atonement for sins.”

The Apocrypha also contains such strange advice as using smoked fish liver to dispel demons (Tobit 6), and suggest that suicide, in some cases, is manly and noble (2 Maccabees 14:37-46). Strange historical inaccuracies also appear, such as the death records of Antiochus Epiphanes, who must have died twice when you compare 2 Maccabees 2:13-16 to 9:1-29. A search of Christianbook.com turns up 46 items for sale related to the Deuterocanonicals/Apocrypha, with over two dozen Bibles that include them. Supposedly these are only for Roman Catholics, but Daniels’ research discovered that the groundwork has been laid over the decades within the Bible Societies to ultimately produce a Bible with the Apocrypha and subtle watering-down to create one world Bible for one world religion. This Jesuit pope’s PR campaign continues to sugarcoat the bait in the trap for Evangelicals who have already swallowed the poison of the modern (Catholic) versions.

It’s Not a Conspiracy Theory —It’s a Fact!

Students of biblical prophecy have long identified an end-time one-world government. Developments in the last hundred years have silenced those who disbelieved it. Various detailed plans for its accomplishment have surfaced over the years and current events have played out closely according to some of the plans.

One such revelation involves a Dr. Richard Day, late professor of pediatrics at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and a former director of Planned Parenthood, who spoke of the plans of “The Order” to a group of pediatricians in 1969. Dr. Lawrence Dunegan was in the audience and prepared an audio tape from his notes in the conference.

Looking back, the plan's accurate prediction of recent developments is striking. Predictions included making abortion normal (spoken before Roe v Wade), sex education down to the youngest kids, encouraging homosexuality, limiting access to affordable health care and bringing down American preeminence in industry. Another objective was to destroy the normal family structure.

However, one of the most interesting parts of the plan dealt with Christians and the Bible: “The old religions will have to go, especially Christianity... Then a new religion can be accepted for use all over the world. It will incorporate something from all of the old ones to make it more easy for people to accept, and feel at home. Most people won’t be too concerned with religion. They will realize that they don’t need it.

“In order to do this, the Bible will be changed. It will be rewritten to fit the new religion. Gradually, key words will be replaced with new words having various shades of meaning. Then the meaning attached to the new word can be close to the old word and as time goes on, other shades of meaning of that word can be emphasized. And then gradually that word replaced with another word.”

Dunegan explained, “...the idea is that everything in Scripture need not be rewritten, just key words replaced by other words. The variability in meaning attached to any word can be used as a tool to change the entire meaning of Scripture, and therefore make it acceptable to this new religion.”

A classic example of this subtle change is the places in the New Testament where the word “saved” is changed to “being saved.” (See Luke 13:23, Acts 2:47, 1 Cor. 1:18, and 2 Cor. 2:15.) Over one billion Catholics are taught that to claim you are “saved” is the sin of presumption. You are “being saved” and “on the road to salvation” through regular attendance at a re-sacrifice of Christ (Mass), confession of sins to a man who “absolves” them, belief in a wafer-god and worship of a virgin (Mary) goddess.

Do you see how this change shifts the meaning to fit the salvation-by-works heresy of Roman Catholicism? David W. Daniels details in his book, Why They Changed the Bible, how the modern Bibles are a product of over a century of effort to subtly bend the text toward a one-world Bible for a one-world religion. When Bible societies were first established in the early 1800s, ungodly society members succeeded in establishing polluted Greek and Hebrew texts as the foundational translation documents for not only English bibles, but all languages, both common and those used by organizations such as Wycliffe.

His book also describes how the Jesuits were central in this effort. Their goal is to get the Apocrypha included in your Bible to support more of their pagan doctrines. We are very late in this process. The present Jesuit pope is even now pushing hard for unity toward the end-times one-world religion.

The wave of doubt in the Word of God is rising to a tsunami. Two lies are the primary sources for this doubt: 1) homosexual orientation is God given, and 2) evolution.

“Christian” proponents of the first lie include Matthew Vines, author of “God and the Gay Christian,” recently released by Convergent Books, and Vicky Beeching, popular CCM singer and social commentator.  

Vines discounts the biblical accounts of God’s view of homosexuals by claiming that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed over an attempted gang rape; and that Leviticus 18 is old, outdated law.

Beeching recently “came out” as “gay,” declaring that God’s love would approve her affection for another woman. And she stated her determination to spread the lie: “I feel certain God loves me just the way I am, and I have a huge sense of calling to communicate that to young people.”

Another “Christian” singer has gone public, promoting the other lie, evolution. The false science of evolution presents biblical history as so many myths and legends. Michael Gungor, with his wife, Lisa, form the Christian band, Gungor. Like many who doubt the biblical account of creation, Gungor has bought into “theistic evolution,” the belief that somehow, God used the evolution process to create the world and all of creation. Of course, to do this, the biblical account has to be discarded as just myth and legend.

To Gungor, the Genesis account of creation is simply a poem, one of great intrinsic value, but not to be taken literally. But, as someone asked, “If you don’t believe the first 11 chapters of Genesis, why do you need John 3:16?”

This attempt to shove evolution into God’s narrative of creation demonstrates monumental ignorance of the evidence. Author Vance Ferrell, has compiled nearly 1000 pages of evidence in his book, The Evolution Handbook, confounding the “theory” of evolution.

Part two of the chapter on age of the earth illustrates King David’s declaration: “The heavens declare the glory of God...” “Ferrell describes stars so enormous in diameter that they could not have existed for millions of years, or their initial mass would have been impossibly large.”

Also in those “heavens” there are enormous stars that radiate a million times the energy of our sun. But the evolutionist’s own theory about star energy indicates these stars don’t contain enough hydrogen to maintain fusion longer than 300,000 years.

When it comes to our own sun, its radiation that warms our planet is causing it to slowly shrink. To be its present size, it would have been so large 50,000 years ago as to boil our oceans.

Ferrell’s book is a very thick read and a huge indictment of evolutionary theory. Key topics such as big bang, mutations, age of earth, inaccurate dating methods, effects of Noah’s flood, tectonics, archeological dating, DNA, are included in devastating detail.

A whole chapter is devoted to the intelligent design movement of scientists, Christian and unbelievers, who have concluded, from the overwhelming evidence, that creation must have a designer.

This fact sits deep in the heart of man who always assumes that cars, wrist watches, smart phones and bandwidth are all designed by someone. Yet, evolutionists, with a straight face, teach our children that millions of years of accidents created such wonders as their mother, puppies, whales and sunshine.

With resources such as The Evolution Handbook, you can easily counter the lies that Satan is feeding you and your kids at every turn.

Younger and younger children are encountering the question of homosexuality. As they are able, tracts like, Sin City, Home Alone, Uninvited and Doom Town can be used to guide them to the truth. We also need to salt these truths widely into our communities to strengthen those who really want to stand up for righteousness.

A judge in Australia has been reprimanded because he dared state what many have been thinking as we watch the progression of sexual sin in the world. He was temporarily suspended for suggesting that modern juries may be coming to the point where they could not see a problem with incest.

He cited the fact that in the 1950s a jury would have found it “...unnatural for a man to be interested in another man... Those things have gone.”

He observed that the reason for incest laws was to prevent genetic abnormalities in children born to close relatives. The ease of contraception and abortion has eliminated this concern, he reasoned.

Because we are ignoring God’s clear abhorrence for sexual perversion, the situation is getting more chaotic. In Houston, Texas, the lesbian mayor signed a law allowing “transgenders” to use whichever bathroom they wish. Some schools are also wrestling with this confusion.

This year the Southern Baptist Convention was forced to make a clear statement because a pastor at an SBC-member church performed a same sex marriage for his son. They resolved that God’s design for gender did not include a “third way.”

Many other groups are watching the success of the homosexual steam roller, hoping to duplicate the public acceptance of their perversion. In Brooklyn, a 15-apartment complex dedicated to “polyamory” is almost full, says Leon Feingold, co-president of Open Love NY. In contrast to polygamy, (one man, many wives), polyamory is defined as “participation in multiple and simultaneous loving or sexual relationships.”

The North American Man-Boy-Love Association web site continues to advocate for the elimination of the age-of-consent laws allowing adult sexual predators legal access to children.

Many colleges and universities from Bowdoin to Vanderbilt have instituted “non-discrimination” policies telling Christian campus clubs that they cannot bar homosexuals from leadership. While all sinners are welcome to attend meetings, leaders cannot be required to sign a pledge to abstain from unbiblical behavior.

Some voices of sanity are beginning to be heard. The British Royal College of Psychiatrists has come out with a statement that there is no proof that people are born homosexual. This undercuts the laws in some states against “reparative therapy” where professional counselors are forbidden to counsel anyone underage wishing help in converting to a normal lifestyle.

The “born-that-way” mantra of homosexuals was again called into question by a recent report from the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Citing a comprehensive scientific study of 400 homosexual men “—the researchers concluded that homosexuality cannot be traced to specific genes.”

While scientists still maintain that genetics can be a factor, they admit that: “Environmental factors, such as the absence of a father or an unhealthy domestic upbringing, might play significant roles.”

Studies of this sort help bring the discussion back to the biblical viewpoint, that homosexual behavior is a choice. While many “evangelicals” have bought the idea of a homosexual “orientation” which presumes born-that-way, other explanations are surfacing.

One study indicated that an overwhelming majority of those so “oriented” were molested as children.

This tends to support the view presented in the Chick tract, Home Alone, that demonic involvement is introduced early on. Bible believers must continue to present God’s word on the subject: perversion of sexual activity outside His original plan of man and wife is sin. God, through Christ, provided a remedy for all sin, no matter how tenacious its hold on a person.

For children, sexual preference has become a one-way street.

In the state of California, for example, according to laws on the books at this very moment, if children are sexually abused and feel attracted to their own gender, they may be counseled in favor of the idea that they are homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or something else. However, if the children do not like that feeling and want to get rid of it, it is illegal for professional therapists to say or do anything to help them turn from those urges and return to heterosexual feelings.

Even non-professionals are in danger of being accused of discrimination and hate in any attempt to guide them to the truth.

This didn’t happen overnight. For years laws in California and some other states have been passed that allow LGBT advocates more and more access to your child:

SB 543 (2010) allows school staff to remove your 12+ year old child from school without your consent, to be counseled in favor of homosexuality by LGBT counselors, under the guise of “mental health counseling.”

ACR 82 (2010) makes schools into “discrimination-free zones” that will “counsel” anyone who speaks or writes against LGBT behavior.

SB 572 (2009) forces celebration of “Harvey Milk Day” yearly, about May 22nd, teaching children to admire a homosexual predator, who sexually abused males as young as 16.

SB 777 (2007) requires teaching all children from kindergarten upward that gender is not determined at birth, but can be chosen later, based on feelings.

How does this affect your child?

In California, from kindergarten through high school and into college, the law says that your public school child must be systematically indoctrinated into believing that various forms of sexual perversion are good, healthy expressions of “who they are.”

This also means that anyone who lovingly warns them of the dangers of those behaviors must be “bad.” So you, your pastor, Christian counselors or even medical practitioners who dare to warn your child that these activities are dangerous, much less that God forbids such behavior, are now labeled as “enemies of the state.” You have become the enemy. It’s that simple.

Why would anyone do this?

Many people can tell you from personal experience that LGBT men and women have tried to recruit them into their chosen perverted lifestyles. This recruitment is necessary because they cannot reproduce. They must inseminate, adopt, or recruit. And they are seeing to it that laws are written to make your child ripe for the picking.

What can we do about it?

The Devil wants to sweep as many people to a Christless eternity in the lake of fire as possible. We must inoculate the children early, as well as youth and adults, against the lies of the enemy. That means reading and teaching the Bible to them (even the hard parts, like Sodom and Gomorrah and Romans 1).

We may feel uncomfortable talking about such things, but I promise you: there are plenty of LGBT people who are ready to impose their point of view, regardless of what you do or say. Start teaching them now. It is a lot easier to inoculate someone from small pox, than to cure someone who has it.

D&D player (21 years old) Timothy Grice, Lafayette, CO., suicide by shotgun blast, 1/17/83. Detective reports noted, "D&D became a reality. He thought he was not constrained to this life, but could leave [it] and return because of the game."
D&D player (18 years old) Harold T. Collins, Marion, OH., suicide by hanging, 4/29/83. Collins was noted to be "possessed" by D&D as if he were living the game.
D&D player (16 years old) Daniel Erwin, Lafayette, CO., murder by brother's shotgun blast to head, 11/2/84 (right after Halloween). Death was apparently the result of a death pact as part of the game.

D&D player (no age given) Joseph Malin, Salt Lake City, UT., pled guilty to first degree murder 3/2/88 and was sentenced to life in prison. He killed a 13-year-old girl while acting out the fantasy-role game. The girl had been raped, her throat cut, and she had been stabbed twice in the chest. Police said his "violent urges were fed by 'extreme involvement in the fantasy role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons.'"53
D&D player (14 years old) Tom Sullivan, Jr. got into Satanism and ended up stabbing his mother to death, arranging a ritual circle (from D&D) in the middle of the living room floor and lit a fire in its midst. Fortunately, his dad and little brother were awakened by a smoke detector; but by then, Tom, Jr. had slashed his wrists and throat with his Boy Scout knife and died in the snow in a neighbor's yard. (1/19/88, Amarillo, TX).54
D&D player Danny Remeta went on an eight-state crime spree, including murder. In an interview in the DETROIT FREE PRESS, he asked, "Have you ever heard of Dungeons and Dragons? That had a lot to do with it — It is not just a board game. It's a lot deeper than a board game. I've got five friends that are locked up for the same thing [murder] right now because of the game."55
D&D player (14 years old) Sean Sellers was convicted of killing his parents and a convenience store clerk in Greeley, Oklahoma (1/11/87). He was the youngest inmate of death row in the country before being executed for his crimes. His involvement in hard-core Satanism began with D&D, according to his own testimony. Praise the Lord; he became a Born Again Christian some time before his execution!56
