Only in the old fashioned sense, where gay had a sexual meaning before its homosexual meaning: gay lady meant a prostitute, gay house a brothel, etc. Bet you didn't know that. 🤣

I’m thinking that they consider divine/rightward/etc. glory to be utterly and eternally superior to every merriment/gaiety/etc. ever known or discoverable. Even if it’s not really eudaimonic to me (very circumscribed range of Others to aid and be aided by). So neither that nor hedonic…What category is she exalting, then?
