(In a discussion over the age of dinosaur fossils)
I can't help it if you're a fool. I know a lot more than these pseudo scientists. I read the Bible, and it's never wrong

I read the Bible, and it's never wrong
That Bible of yours says that insects have four legs; your 'Omniscient ' God says so:

Whoops!
That Bible of yours says that Pi = exactly 3. Now build for us a wheel based on that; we'll wait, because that's something that even your 'Omnipotent ' God can't do.
...shall I continue or have I sufficiently annihilated your 'argument' by proving not only that Bible of yours but your 'God' more than wrong, OP?!

The bug thing is weirdly forgivable in that a lot of insects have forelimbs which are at least slightly-different looking and use them as manipulative appendages in addition to – or in rare cases, instead of – walking… see mantises, for an example of non-walking forelimbs. Most insects can also rear up and walk on four legs (and some beetles *have* to do so in order to run). And look at ants - most species carry things around with their forelimbs while only walking on their other legs! So given all that, it wouldn’t be too much out of line with reality to assume that insects have four legs… and two arms! I mean, most bugs do also walk on their “arms”, but so do apes. So, like, maybe God decided that this would be an easier concept for early humans to grasp and the whole arms thing was just, you know, implied.
That being said:

This is definitely stupid because even during the days when the earliest books of the old testament were written, it was reasonably well-known in that region that pi was slightly larger than 3 and that 25/8 (3⅛) was considered “close enough”. (22/7 as a better estimate didn’t come until later.)

Tremble before Him, all the earth; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved.
Sure, it’s never wrong, on a planet which constantly revolves around the sun. Yeah sure, Fred, but I won’t quote Proverbs 26:4&5.

'You are a slow learner, Winston,' said O'Brien gently.
'How can I help it?' he blubbered. 'How can I help knowing facts that I know? Pi is 3.14!'
'Sometimes, Winston. Sometimes it’s 3.14. Sometimes it’s 3. Sometimes it’s 4.09. Sometimes it’s all of them at once. Depending entirely on what The Church tells us the Bible says. You must try harder. It is not easy to become godly.'
Confused?
