(Responding a video saying the US lost the war with Iran)
Ummm 🤔 NO.
The US did not just “lose a war”…
War was never declared.
And IF you actually did a smidgen of research with Honest intent rather than emotional manipulation, you’d have a completely different opinion.
Sadly, people will listen to your lies because they suffer from the same mental illness you do.

Fine time to bring that up, ignoring all the times that Trump has said we’re winning the war, we won the war, the war is going well, we won the war again…

No, we went to war. Trump illegally started a war with Iran, got his ass kicked and TACOed once more. And despite his many lies, lost that war.
Reports from the White House say that he knows he lost, but he is confused that Iran won’t give him the same deal he would have imposed on them had he won. He really doesn’t understand how anything works.

Right, right, Trump has lied 70,000 times, but it’s his critics that are mentally unsound.
As I’ve said before, logic does not work on MAGA, otherwise there would not be MAGA to begin with. It’s gotten to the point that I genuinely think MAGA should be legally classified as a mental ilness, and I’m not saying that lightly. MAGA is completely divorced from reality.
The thing about declaring war is that international treaties have made any declared war so expensive and such a disadvantage that nobody does it. The US didn’t declare war when invading Afghanistan or Iraq. The invasion of Ukraine is not a declared war for either side, it would complicate getting intentional aid and keeping trade open so much that even Ukraine has not declared war.
This doesn’t stop wars, they just fight wars without declaring it, everything is a conflict, peacekeeping mission, military engagement, etc.
This is what is called, as the youngsters say, a cope.
If US law is all that matters here, then the last war the US was involved with was WW2. The Vietnam War? Extended military operation. The Korean War? Also just a military operation. The Cold War? A series of proxy wars, which the US pretends not to have been directly involved in even though they sort of were, so they don’t count. But by any sane definition, all of those count, and so did this excursion with Iran. History will record it as a “war”. Hiding behind technicalities is a cope.

Man, we sure do award a LOT of medals for undeclared military activities.
I got the National Defense Service Medal for being on a submarine during Desert Storm. Nowhere on any map that was printed in Newsweek, but we participated. Hell, everyone who graduated boot camp during Desert Shield or Desert Storm got the National Defense Service Medal.
First, there wre armed conflict between Iran on one side and the USA and Israel on the other which saw airstrikes, missiles strikes and drones strikes. I bet that plenty in the Middle East might say that there was a war, especially after seeing their home blown up.
And second, none of the goals the USA set were ever fulfilled: the Islamic Republic is still ruling Iran, the HEU is still in Iran, the ballistic program is still intact (with help from Russia and China); indeed, one of the goals, regarding Hormuz, is about returning to the status quo ante bellum . Not only that but the JCPOA the GOP so decried will look like the Treaty of Trianon.
Additionally, there’s plenty Gulf petroemirates who must be telling themselves that getting US military bases was a bad investment and the only insurance policy which makes you more likely to get bad events.

The US never declared war on Vietnam, but I think most people consider that to be a war. I mean, two of my uncles served in Vietnam, one was drafted and one enlisted I believe, and I’m pretty sure if I asked them, they would both say they were in a war. To modify a popular saying, if it looks like a war, swims like a war, and quacks like a war, then it probably is a war!
Confused?
