I don't even know where to start. Let's just say this. Nobody really disrespects any other religion besides Christianity. For example, look at the opening of the Paris Olympics. What was the point of that? Why do people always feel the need to disrespect Christians all the time? Then those same people, like people in the lgbtq community, will turn around and say that Christians are the ones that discriminate against them. However, it's the other way around. People are actually OBSESSED with Christians and our lifestyle and it is becoming exhausting. I get called homophobic or transphobic by simply stating that I don't support the lgbtq community. I don't hate it, I just don't support it. However, I've heard a girl say that she was afraid of straight people and Christians, but nobody gives a shit about that, do they? A girl once called my sister depressing because she identified as she/her and was straight. Yall really be hating on us, but then lie to yourselves and say we hate you. Like I DO NOT GIVE A FUCCKK IF YOU HAVE AN ORGY WITH PEOPLE OF THE SAME SEX, WITH A FUCKING PENTAGRAM IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. AS LONG AS I AM NOT A PART OF IT, I DONT GIVE A SINGULAR FUCK. AND YES I AM A CHRISTIAN WHO CUSSES, BECAUSE I AM A FUCKING HUMAN AND WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES. JUST MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS, AND STOP MAKING THE WHOLE "I hate Christianity " THING YOUR ENTIRE PERSONALITY. I DONT GIVE A MINUSCULE FUCK IF YOU HAVE TRAUMA FROM IT. Well, speaking as a straight Atheist whose best friend is a long -time Church of England Christian: and I’ve been a member of a site which has plenty of those you hate since 2008, let me ask you a simple question OP:

My best friend says this about LGBTQ people: ‘They have every right in the world to be who they really are’.

You’re not afraid to leave your home. The people you’re “sick of hating you” not only are afraid of leaving their homes because of you they’re afraid IN their homes. When they die “good Christian folk” smile and proclaim the “filth” will trouble them no longer because they were beaten to death while stepping in to stop somebody else being bullied. Because they were driven to suicide by relentless slander and the presumption of every evil imaginable with no right to defence or privacy. Because they were thrown out of their homes and died from deprivation. Because they in their audacity were in a place they had a right to be going about their business and a “righteous” person took enough issue with that to visit upon them violence and the “good Christian folk” decided that their unity meant more than the law and allowed it to slide. Do you know how afraid your children are of you? To see those their own age dead on the streets spat on by you? To hear you say it’s not good enough to drive them from sight, that parents should send their children to “conversion” therapy that is simply legalized abuse ranging from emotional to straight up physical torture and abduction explicitly purposed to compel speech and break them down and have their entire identity remade however their captor pleases on pain of going through this process again? Do you know how afraid they are of you that they know if it suits you to do so for your pious image they are dead to you in varying degrees of the literal for any perceived defiance or “deviation” from expectation and learn to fake behaviour just to please you? That they don’t actually know right from wrong just what placates the threats in their lives until they are the ones making those threats because it’s all they know? Until you know that kind of fear kindly shut the fuck up because YOU are the greatest threat to anyone in the world right now and everybody else is so sick of upholding the rules of civilization your cult seeks to usurp and rebrand as your own even as you drench it all in blood.
You’re not being bullied, you’re outraged you don’t have more control. You don’t hate anything actually concrete about anyone you otherize, you hate that their existence puts a ruffle in the message that there’s only one correct way to live life and it is the only one you pay lip service to. You don’t just hate them on sight, you hate the idea they’re anywhere around. That they theoretically exist as any normal person living a normal life rather than the ridiculous caricatures you construct for them but you’re damned grateful it gives you an excuse to enforce the roles and behaviours you think are the only proper ones to entrench your control: the stone-clad way to live you impart on your frightened children so you don’t simply accuse them of being what you’d leave dead in the streets soaking in your spit. And the result of that? People like Andrew Tate, like Pete Hegseth, people like fucking Jeffrey Epstein because that’s what masculinity is to them. Predation, bluster, thuggery, and control. And they preach that masculinity to the next generation, making them insecure predators ripe for manipulation. Femininity boiled down to self-inflicted infantalization to the horrific extreme of trying to legitimize child brides as ideal, forced dependency, the absolute loss of agency, and the reduction of the self as flesh to be bartered. It results in men and women who see all affection as transactions to be exploited, incels and femcels who would burn the world because they don’t understand relationships, don’t actually want relationships, but have been driven to fit a societal model at any cost and their antipathy becomes their defining trait. Women who do not care for children as anything but their standing in a household and would be more than pleased to leave children from a man’s previous marriage out to dry. You know, the flipside of shaming single moms. Fathers get to move on women are tainted forever but that’s another fucking rant you’re too much of a shit human being to care about. So again: shut the fuck up because you really don’t want to see a world where you’re actually telling the truth, where people DO put up more than a token resistance to letting you PLAY GOD deciding who deserves to live and whose existence is a political controversy not to be brought up ever except as a method to instill fear while you lie like you follow Him.

Wow, that’s a pretty bold statement. How about, for example, how some (not all) Christians disrespect other religions, as can be often seen on this very site? Christians often disrespect Islam, Judaism, and for that matter, Protestants disrespect Catholics and vice versa. Which is kinda funny to me, as an atheist, because, those are all really different versions of the same thing.

If you’ve never heard about the Hindu caste system, you might live in a bubble. If you’ve never heard anyone complain about Islamic terrorism, you definitely live in a bubble.
These are the three most popular religions in the world. Theoretically, even if all religions were the same, you’d expect to hear more people complaining about the popular religions because they cause more actual harm. In practice, I live in a bubble, so it took me far too long to hear about Agnipravesham .
Anyway, just because you’ve never noticed it doesn’t mean it never happens.
