people are left to frame their lives through means that are not defined by the biblical narrative
That's actually ideal for society, considering all the deceptors who twist scripture to falsely pretend that their bigotry and demands on society somehow have "divine support", when they obviously don't. And who use religion to justify evil and abuse, to divide with identity politics, etc. Your ideal of "Western culture" is a straw man anyway, so that you can redefine it.
there is a free-for-all system where every person defines their own laws, ethics and values
Projection, because bible thumpers do just that, read the above. If you actually study the real context of the scriptures they appeal to, they have nothing to do with the modern world or Western culture anyway.
As traditional narratives continue to be deconstructed, this has also resulted in a loss of the collective metanarrative for understanding the world. This leads to uncertainty, nihilism and a feeling-based morality that determines public policy in which one’s identity trumps psychology above biology.
There was no collective narrative to understand the world. You're apparently ignorant of the conflicting history of the West. On the other hand, the closest there can be to an actual knowledge consensus has been achieved by developing and using the scientific method. It is not identity politics or moralism, but a universal, successful system, to learn about the world. It also doesn't dictate doctrines or ethics, but is well placed to inform them. The uncertainty and nihilist propaganda I see have nothing to do with that. I see plenty of uncertainty propaganda and distrust disinformation propaganda. That's not science and knowledge, it's campaigns attempting to replace reality with ideological narratives, like for business and manipulation. Your appeal to biology appears to be misplaced, considering the number of creationists in the US who reject much of it.
However, with a rapid acceleration in individualism, autonomous secular humans are left with a reductionist mindset that has further collapsed their existential perspective to mere individual expression.
So you want a bee hive? And you've exposed your hypocritical use of biology above, by using "secular". There is no religious biology, it's simply a collection of observations and a model to explain them. The scientific method is not to dictate ideology or affirm religion, it must adapt to discoveries and detect and deal with human fallacies, including false a-priori preconceptions and confirmation bias when they only try to see what they want to see and remain blind to reality.
od made both male and female in His image to represent Him and to subdue the earth (Gen.1:27-28).
So the whole effort was only to affirm your ideological opinion by quote mining from the creation myth of an ancient human tradition that had no access to knowledge about the natural world. That was not biology, it was mythology. It was not science and never intended to be, it was the compilation of some traditional origin myths of a specific culture, influenced by those of their ancestors, some of which we also have access to outside of the canon.
Consequently, it took both a man and a woman to express God’s image to exert dominion over creation; one man or woman could not fully express God’s image and likeness, nor could two men or two women. It takes both masculinity and femininity in covenant marriage to fully transmit God’s image to the next generation to continually perpetuate God’s kingdom influence.
Just like you're doing and just like previously mentioned, people make up their own "god" at the image of their own impressions and ideology. It was the same back then. There was no actual "god image" to derive the human from, it evolved from earlier forms and eventually developed symbolic language powerful enough to begin to express and vehiculate tradition. So humans created their gods at their own image, not the inverse. The reason there were many deities, even before yours, many human traditions, various great religions and endless splinter groups. So here you're claiming that patriarchy, women subjugation and polluting the earth are fine and somehow would have a divine purpose. It's just false. You're pointing at an ancient pre-Western statement to claim that our own culture should follow your adaptation of that pattern. There's no valid reason to and there are many valid reasons to question that. Not accepting what you would like to dictate is not rebellion, chaos or nihilism, it's an understanding.
Hence, before any further development of civilization existed, marriage between one man and one woman was the foundation of maintaining order and subduing the chaos in the created order.
Connected to this equilibrium that maintained order is that God originally framed humanity with two genders based on a biological framework, not a psychological one.
Your assertion that any cultural development was only because of specific outdated ideological premises is questionable. I keep seeing dominionists claim that if Christianity was successful, it must have been because it was superior, or somehow had more divine support, but it was only an incidence. Look outside of your little bubble. So your whole sermon is to deny that some people know that they were wrongly assigned at birth and that somehow, the humans who did the assignment did it based on some holy principle. Evidence shows that the principle is not infaillible, just like the traditions you are appealing to are not inerrant, probably not even of divine origin. And your "biology" was a straw man, not about biology. It's also an unnecessary argument as far as biology is concerned, because minorities have never prevented people who want children to have them, or heterosexuals to unite and have sex. Slippery slope arguments to promote panic about natural human diversity is only that. LGBTQ+ friendly environments have confirmed that there is normal variation in human expression but that heterosexuality remains prevalent. Historians know that it was always the case. Acceptance is not conversion. And demonizing minorities who are different by appealing to old scripture, is still bigotry.
A bigotry sermon, on a website claiming to be news is best described as deception. Ironically, who's the father of lies, according to the same tradition you were quote mining from?
