Despite being a scare tactic, surgery for gender reassignment isn't a thing that happens to minors.
And it's always "Men going into girls' bathrooms." Because women going into boys' rooms isn't as scary sounding for your base? Because that sort of thing has never existed before now, and adults who wish to actually prey on children can ONLY do so in public bathrooms. Teachers, clergy, family friends, family itself, can't be monsters elsewhere, right?

There is no freedom of yelling “GET ’EM!” at an otherized person, there is no freedom to invent all sorts of utter bullshits about them to maybe catch an ignorant person or three on your hate-bait, those are all criminal activities or at the very least should bloody well be in any sane country. If all you can conjure against a person or a minority are your own delusional accusation with no basis in any sort of observable nor confirmable reality, you deserve to be shut the fuck up and stay silent.

So I have to accept whatever people call me? I’m a cis woman, my preferred pronouns are she/her/hers. Does this mean I can’t tell people they’re wrong and just let them call me he or it?
ETA: I’m not trying to make this about me, I realized that might’ve been unclear. I’m using myself as a cis person to show how totally ridiculous their logic is. Even though we don’t have to think about it, cis people have our preferred pronouns too.

Right, and it’s always “men” going into the “girl’s” bathroom. They never say boys, always “men”. I’m not sure if it’s purposely to make it sound more predatory or if it’s the same logic they use with children of color (black boys are referred to as men like as soon as they turn like 4). Or both! Or something else! It all sucks, regardless.
