Skateboarding seems more an artistic performance than something purely physics, so gender and age differences wouldn’t play any major role.

Why were adults and teens competing against each other in the first place? That seems like it would be an obvious division to make.

I can't find any articles about it that weren't outraged about it. There's apparently other transwomen, one of whom took thousands of dollars? This whole thing seems disambigious.

Why are adults competing with kids? This isn't even a male or female thing.

Six women took place in the event.
Four were under 17.
The youngest was 10.

The contest is open to all ages, all skill levels.

Yeah the only info I can find about it is on extremely untrustworthy sites. I really doubt it happened the way they are saying it did.

ETA: I did some further digging and it looks like it was an all ages event. A 16-year-old won 3rd place, 28-year-old won 4th place, a 10-year-old won 5th, and a 12-year-old won 6th.
