Here is the difference between conservatives and liberals. I am a conservative and if this is true that he was punched and racially harassed, I condemn that totally. I do not like him, but he should not have that happen. Now, let's see lefties condemn the assassination attempt on Trump and the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Oh, wait, we've already seen that most of them don't condemn it.

Oh, you mean the one where Trump was completely unharmed(*) while an innocent man in the bleachers took a bullet for him an died over it, yet “righties” keep spouting the narrative that Trump somehow caught the bullet for his “loyal” audience and the actual victim is not worth remembering apparently? I, a “leftie”, have more empathy for the actual victim than you righties do.
(*)Which I still find suspicious, as Trump’s fat ass is not an easy target to miss…

Afaik, nobody on the left condones that. But we DO point out the cosmic irony of Kirk being killed in a shooting when he was known for defending shootings…
Also, both times the perpetrator was a known Republican voter, ya dumbass.

I cynically believe that Trump’s “assassination attempt” was merely a paintball show, but Charlie Kirk’s assassination was of course real. I disapproved of shooting someone, just because you disagree with him, but it happens. It seems that based on his quote, Kirk himself did not disagree… or more likely never thought it would be him.

Even when they’re no longer in office, there are Secret Servicemen assigned to protect former presidents.
There was one group who recently no longer needed to protect Jimmy Carter, as he died. But when he was alive, in recent years it wouldn’t have surprised me if some of them joined in when Carter was building affordable housing: until he was too old to do so.
And even in helping that home-constructing president, I bet their presidential protection job was the easiest of them all.
Why was this, and why is it that even those protecting Bush II & Obama won’t be as stressed out as much as those assigned to an orange… thing ?
