Nobody believes women when they give their age…or body count…or say they weren’t flirting with another guy…or how much they spent on your card at Saks…or when they say they want you to choose the restaurant…so why on EARTH would we believe them when they claim to be raped???

Buggargate. Buggargate II: Electric Buggarloo: the exposing of Ashley Madison's database by hackers, and one certain name in such. Buggargate III: Revenge of the Sin : having rough sex with a porn star whilst poor wifey was pregnant with their fourth child. Ultimately, Buggargate IV: Destruction.
And not only of Josh.
Harvey Shitstain getting another 16 years. No flies on yours truly, a man who is a feminist: and I'm not the only one. We who are free. Those who are punished due to their actions based on wrong think. Josh Buggar doing a 12-stretch in the can. Since last week, it looks as if the only way Harvey Shitstain - due to '#MeToo' - will be leaving prison is in a box . Were they 'Belie ved'?
First, they came for the Misogynists: I did not speak out, because I'm all for Equal Rights.
...and then they did not come for me: because I'm not an asshole.
Sleep well, OP...!
“…so why on EARTH would we believe them when they claim to be raped???”
Because the rest of us are not misogynists who hope to one day commit rape and escape consequences.
Your apology, here, just makes it harder to believe the next guy who uses sexist terms while claiming it was consensual.
This reminds me of some patriarchal religious doctrines describing women as particularly prone to sin and lust by nature. Not because they are more prone to lust than men, but to make men feel superior, justify patriarchy and promote women subjugation. Victim blaming was also part of it, with ownership, adultery and jealousy more a concern than someone being abused, even at home... Well, we also know how child abuse was also often hidden by institutions. I wonder if Jon wants to make the same argument when children report it...
Edit/Adding: It also sounds strange to me to see an argument about not revealing one's age (which is usually about strangers) for rape apology. Personally I don't dare touching strangers, I must feel welcome, comfortable and a connection with the person. You also can't compare not immediately opening to strangers with not being able to trust and intimately share with someone closer.
Not automatically believed, no, but their accusations should be taken seriously and thoroughly investigated. Though if there’s hard evidence to back up their claims, then I’d say I’m inclined to believe them.
In any case, the reaction to someone claiming to have been raped shouldn’t be a reflexive “I don’t believe you” unless you have firm evidence that their story isn’t true.
And you know men can get raped too, right?
People like the OP think all women are like First Princess Malty S. Melromarc from The Rising of the Shield Hero. , who falsely accused the protagonist of raping her.
The fact that one of her punishments was being married off to and raped by the king of a bigger neighboring country as a peace offering by her own mother , I think these assholes might want to punish women like this if they try to speak out.
Confused?
