Minimum wage should be $0.0, prove your worth, if you aren't getting paid enough, then find a job that pays more it's actually that simple. This isn't a boomer saying save money and buy a $50k house, I'm a millennial who graduated college in '07 I became an adult at the worst possible time

except obviously that’s not the case and if you just up and get rid of the minimium wage, companies WILL just pay you basically nothing to survive at all, the minimium is there for a good damn reason, especially since we don’t have strong enough labor unions to force companies to pay people a good wage.
Also I very much doubt you are a millennial making this claim unless you are a person who came from a rich family that gave you such a opportunity in the first place which clearly not everyone does but you, no doubt just think everyone else has the same goddamn opportunity you had when no they don’t.
And if the effective wait list for the job you are “worth” is decades long, what then?

To be anything fair min wage in US should be slightly over 20/h, this shit simply NEEDS to be tied to rent rates.

If minimum wage was 0.0, all these companies would just pay that. They’re not in it because they’re nice and want to take care of people, they are in it to make a profit. That is the bottom line of any corporation. And then they’d create laws that you have to work for at least one of them or go to jail. That’s what they have done throughout the entire history of labor struggles.
