Does the notion of a man caring for a child make you seethe o Ovashits? Just ask Sir Elton John and David Furnish about their two sons.

This is already a reality in some countries, and 13 US states - maternity leave has been replaced by family leave, and it’s expected that both parents will take time off to deal with early child care. AFAIK there has never been a situation of “fathers want to spend time off to deal with babies too? Okay, let’s get rid of maternity leave then” anywhere. Trans people also had nothing to do with it. What reality are these people living in?

…Oh yeah, the reality where it’s assumed that penis-havers don’t care about their kids other than as sex trophies. That’s a rather atrocious attitude which is far from universal and really needs to die.

The transphobe’s favorite hobby is making up shit that didn’t happen. It’s right up there with harassing people for disagreeing with them.

In sane places dads can take time off the same time as moms.

You'd think that most women would be able to distinguish between care and a sex fetish. Or that they'd finally be happy when they don't have the full burden. Apparently not for those who aren't interested in having children and who constantly demonize penises and those who have/had one? Even if you have no life, just let people who want one alone? It sounds like incellism.

Apparently maternal leave is another women's space that men are invading, just like bathrooms and women's sports. I would have thought that feminists would welcome the idea of fathers contributing to childcare and taking some of the burden from mothers, but I guess TERFs see men as malicious intruders even when it comes to their own children.

Fathers should have the same time off as a mother when the baby is born.
