Why do you care about the institution of marriage collapsing among a segment of the population. If you think it’s a sacrament, then wouldn’t you just be sad that others won’t be able to enjoy this gift from God? Why get involved to force people to stay together when they hate each other?
The tie between sex and procreation isn’t completely severed for women. Abortions would be reduced if people have proper sex ed and access to contraception.
You don’t give a shit about parental responsibility when your first thought to reduce divorces is give fathers custody in order to make women rethink getting a divorce. In the past, it made sense since men were the primary breadwinners and women would be free to remarry. There seems to be too many men who can’t even be bothered to take care of themselves much less take care of a child.
