Can you give me one contradiction in scripture? God is perfect but He has never created someone with homosexual desires. Homosexuals are not born gay just like murderers or not born killers. They commit the sin themselves just like homosexuals.
Even if the lgbt community wants to say they were born gay, it still doesn't give them the right to sin just like it doesn't give the murderer the right to kill.

Really? I believe murder takes away someone's rights pretty hideously, even their life. Fking someone who is a consenting adult is hardly in the same ballpark.
Got a few desires, hey? You're starting to sound about as uplifting as Ted Haggard's shirt.
What sort of contradiction? Like between the Bible and observable reality (The Creation Myth), more logical contradictions that aren't explicit (Cain finding a wife when it should have just been him, Adam and Eve), God changing his mind about rules and laws (going from an eye for an eye to turning the other cheek), or more blatant ones (no man has seen God... ignoring all who have).
It's less about being able to find the contradictions than selecting the category the issue falls under.
“Even if the lgbt community wants to say they were born gay, it still doesn't give them the right to sin”
We aren’t born knowing how to speak, either. We learn to speak.
We can learn to speak blasphemy with that ability.
This is a sin in the Bible.
But it’s a protected right in our Constitution. So right there, we do have a right to sin. Rights protected by (and from) our government are completely apart from whether or not they are sins.
So, God’s opinion on homosexuality is meaningless in terms of establishing LGBT+ rights. Born gay or positive choice, they have a right to live their truths.
You have a right to speak your truth. it just doesn’t have any more power than any other opinion.
If God deliberatly created sin, then god isn’t perfectly good. If god accidentally created sin, then god isn’t perfect to begin with. If god cannot erase sin, then god isn’t omnipotent.
You simply cannot have a perfect & benevolent omnipotent god and sin & evil in the same verse. It just doesn’t work. And you certainly cannot blame humans for being unwillingly infected by a disease created by god (sin). A disease god refuses to cure. Not that LGBT+ is a sin to begin with…
God is perfect but He has never created someone with homosexual desires
…so the absolute perfection of your ‘God' is decided entirely on what you ‘claim’: Well, I know for an absolute fact that you've never actually read your Bible, and I can prove it with just three words:
David and Jonathan.
It's not only your entire ‘argument' that has been destroyed, OP.
…oh, and that bible you've clearly never read had better not be the KJV if you know what's good for you…!

Exactly - if god created everything, and god is good, then why is there evil? If it is omnipotent and omniscient, as they claim, then it knew Satan would fall, so why create that angel in the first place?
God is perfect but He has never created someone with homosexual desires.
Hmm, really? Ever read Romans 1:18-32? It’s basically saying God let people be homosexual (“gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves”) because they didn’t believe in him (“worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator”). If God created all of us, then “the lusts of (our) own hearts” were created by him too, right?
I have a biblical contradiction right here, asshole...
Did Judas hang himself or fall down in a field and have his guts burst out of his body?

Except, through the lens of the religious fundamentalist, murder isn't wrong because it results in the needless loss of a human life - humans are meaningless chaff to be discarded for the Glory of the Throne. To these assholes, murder is only wrong because God said to not do it. That is the only metric they use to judge whether something is good or evil - does it give God a frowny face, or a happy face? That's why genocide is perfectly a-okay with frummers.
Can you give me one contradiction in scripture?
Yes.

I think that’s also the reason these nutjobs despise suicide despite there being no moral objections to it (and despite them acting like a suicide cult). God gave you life, and only god is allowed to take it. Ergo if you commit suicide, you rob god of the chance to kill you himself.
Confused?
