Women working isn’t anything new incels. Women have worked on farms and in factories.
Those who get a 9 to 5 job (or are stuck in the gig economy), do so because they don’t have to rely solely on someone else’s income. And if the husband dies, becomes too sick to work or loses his job, there’s still an income to put food on the table.
And these days you often need two incomes just to make ends meet (and even that’s not enough in some cases).
