Pat Robertson #fundie rightwingwatch.org

While responding to a question from a woman who wondered if it was wrong for the church not to inform her that a man she was driving to worship services is “dying of AIDS,” Robertson admitted that he “used to think it was transmitted by saliva and other things, now they say it may be sexual contact.”

“What to say if you’re driving an elderly man whose got AIDS? Don’t have sex with them,” Robertson said, “unless there’s a cut or some bodily fluid transmission, I think you’re not going to catch it.”

But Robertson didn’t stop there.

“There are laws now, I think the homosexual community has put these draconian laws on the books that prohibit people from discussing this particular affliction, you can tell somebody you had a heart attack, you can tell them they’ve got high blood pressure, but you can’t tell anybody you’ve got AIDS,” he continued.

Despite Meeuwsen’s best attempts to steer the conversation away from Robertson’s anti-gay paranoia, Robertson insisted that gay people use special rings to transmit the virus.

“You know what they do in San Francisco, some in the gay community there they want to get people so if they got the stuff they’ll have a ring, you shake hands, and the ring’s got a little thing where you cut your finger,” Robertson said. “Really. It’s that kind of vicious stuff, which would be the equivalent of murder.”

"Dr. Chaps" said that former FCC chairman Julius Genachowski failed to adequately enforce the decency standards during his time in office and that was because there was a "demonic spirit of tyranny or immorality inside of him."

And even though Genachowski outwardly appears very polished and successful, "the demonic spirit influences him to abuse and, dare I say, molest and visually rape your children"

Glenn Beck #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Outraged that employees in his organization had begun placing recycling bins throughout The Blaze's headquarters and studio and replaced individual water bottles with a water cooler, Glenn Beck brought the Vice President of Studio Operations onto his radio program today to explain why these changes were taking place.

When she claimed that doing so was saving the company money, Beck not only didn't buy it but also didn't really care and instead issued a new company-wide policy that any employee who buys a compact fluorescent light bulb when non-CFL options are available will be fired.

"Global warming is a pile of crap," Beck declared, adding that he would be issuing a memo informing everyone that "if anyone does anything in this company because of global warming, they're fired."

Matt Barber #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Barber declared that it has become obvious that gay marriage and religious liberty cannot coexist and so "in much the same fashion as did the civil rights activists of old - Martin Luther King and others - Christians are going to have a decision to make; it may be a time for civil disobedience."

"Christians have been persecuted for 2000 years by radical leftists," he said, adding that just as King spent time in jail, anti-gay Christians today might have to suffer the same fate, knowing that they will be rewarded by God for upholding his law and refusing to "pretend that somehow a man can marry a man, a woman can marry a woman."

"You guys can put on two tuxedos or two wedding dresses and play house and get pretend married 'til your heart's content," Barber said, "but marriage is what God says it is. We can no more change the laws of gravity than can we change the laws of marriage."

Linda Harvey #fundie rightwingwatch.org

“Those who have left homosexuality,” Harvey said, talk about how “they’ve once felt empty” and as a result want “to absorb the personality and identity of another person, even someone of the same sex because the vacant feeling inside is so great.” “When others seem to have meaning and purpose, the feelings of self-pity can be overwhelming,” she continued.

Dr. Jerry Mungadze #fundie rightwingwatch.org

We first heard about Dr. Jerry Mungadze when he appeared on a program with televangelist Joni Lamb of Daystar dedicated to the wonders of ex-gay therapy, where he maintained that he has seen the physical “healing” of gay people’s brains as they transition from “showing the homosexuality” to “show[ing] heterosexuality.”

It later turned out that Mungadze, who is not a scientist but a “scholar” with degrees in biblical studies and counselor education, wasn’t referring to actual brain scans but to crayon drawings of brains. Mungadze claims that based on the colored pencil or crayon a person chooses to color in a picture of a brain, he can tell if they are gay or straight.

He took his “science” to televangelist Benny Hinn’s show This Is Your Day earlier this week, where he also revealed that he can tell if someone is possessed by demons if they choose darker colors on their brain map.

“Everything that I talk about is based on numbers, is based on studies, which is what you do is when you’re a scientist,” he told Hinn, adding that “you can actually see demonization in people’s brains.”

“There’s a certain color that I won’t mention that tells me if someone is demonized,” Mungadze continued, until he ultimately revealed that dark colors such as black, brown and gray are proof of demonic possession.

“I can be in a room with people who are into the occult who are steeped in demonology, I may not know it just by sitting next to them but I let them do that and I can tell what spirit they have,” Mungadze said. “People that come from the occult, people coming from witchcraft usually [choose] blacks and browns and grays.”

Gary Bauer #fundie rightwingwatch.org

But while Corkins thankfully failed in his attack on FRC, five liberal justices on our Supreme Court committed an act of judicial terrorism that struck at the very foundation of our constitutional republic. The court's liberal majority accepted a radical redefinition of marriage and imposed its morality on the rest of society.

In doing so, five unelected judges rejected thousands of years of Judeo-Christian understanding, as well as congressional statutes, and set the stage for invalidating the will of the people in more than two-dozen states that have voted to maintain the traditional definition of marriage. Does the consent of the governed matter at all anymore?

It seems as though America is on the verge of criminalizing the Book of Genesis. And with Obamacare's assault on conscience, the danger to religious liberty cannot be overstated.

David Barton #fundie rightwingwatch.org

You challenge what they believe about evolution and they get angry. And you ask them questions they can't answer about their own belief, they get angry. And I was thinking too, you know, they do that in so many areas, including faith areas.

I mean, here I am, I don't believe in UFOs but, you know, there are some UFO societies out there - in December, I drove through Roswell, New Mexico and all the UFO societies - but I'm not suing to close them down. I'm not mad at them. I'm not angry with them. I just don't believe in them.

In the same way, you know, the series that was on TV last year about in search of Bigfoot. Hey, I don't believe in the Loch Ness Monster or Bigfoot or Sasquatch, but I'm not suing to shut these people down because they don't believe like I believe.

I've had people tell me, hey, we never landed on the moon; that was a big government conspiracy and it never happened. I'm not looking to shut them down. I'm not mad about them believing that. I just think they're wrong.

Why is it that atheists get mad? If they don't believe in God, then why do they care if we do. And yet they go out there, working so hard and they're so angry to shut down every expression. There's groups that I don't agree with and I don't believe with, but I'm not angry at them and I'm not looking to shut down their existence.

And [Comfort] is right: atheists get angry because they do know that God exists. That's what makes them mad.

[On the abortion bill in Texas]

On June 25, the final day of the FIRST special session, pro-life leaders watched and waited in the Senate gallery surrounded by orange clad pro-abortion supporters. We’d already tolerated Sen. Wendy Davis’ 11-hour filibuster followed by more delaying tactics by several other Democrat Senators. Then near midnight, Sen. Leticia Van de Putte’s hostile comment about women not being recognized on the Senate floor, triggered a response from the pro-aborts. They stood, applauded and yelled at the top of their lungs. Their excruciatingly piercing screams could only be compared to what evil must sound like emanating from the pit of hell.

Gordon Klingenschmitt #fundie #homophobia rightwingwatch.org

Here are 7 ways the homosexualization of "marriage" has de-valued the traditional marriages of all Christian families, including my own:

1. It has made our traditional marriage less valuable in the eyes of the state.

2. It has forced Christian couples to pay more taxes to make up for the homosexual "bonus pay" now issued by as tax-benefits given to gay "married" couples.

3. It has de-valued by inflation our dollars in our family's bank accounts by increasing the national debt to pay for more government benefits for gay "married" couples, for which the Fed must print new dollars to pay such debt.

4. It has taken away the rights of Christian couples and Catholic charities to foster or adopt children in states like Massachusetts, as my friend Amy Contrada proves here.

5. It has hurt our national security and therefore our family's safety by de-funding benefits given to straight couples or weapon systems and re-distributing those Pentagon dollars to gay "married" couples.

6. It has hurt our ability to worship Almighty God in a Christian chapel building whose altar has been desecrated by homosexual "weddings" depriving us of a sacred worship space.

7. It has threatened our family's religious freedom in countless ways, as I explain here.

Dr. Gordon Klingenschmitt #fundie rightwingwatch.org

On his most recent "Pray In Jesus Name" program, "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt seized upon the story of a member of the Utah Air National Guard who was supposedly reprimanded for writing an email objecting to a gay wedding that had taken place at the chapel at West Point.

...

Klingenschmitt then went on a issue an imprecatory prayer based on the Book of Psalms in which he declared that "we oppose the enemies of the Constitution who hate religious liberty" while calling upon God to strike them on the jaw and break their teeth.

These demons weren't hiding behind bushes, they were out in the street; they were in the streets possessing the people who were demanding the right to murder babies.

I hope this is sinking in to our audience of the severity of the Satanic attack that the church is under right now. Make now mistake about what is happening; this is raw Satanic sewage coming up out of Hell. The sewer pipes of Hell have broken open and this is raw hate against Jesus Christ, against God, against the Bible, against righteous men and women, against life, against anything that is good and decent.

This is the face of the Obamanista revolution and this is only the beginning. This is only the beginning of what these people have planned.

If the restraints are ever taken off these people, they're going to kill us. There is going to be mass slaughter of Christians; that's what these people desire.

Erik Rush #fundie rightwingwatch.org

I know it’s typical for those on the political left to demand peer-reviewed studies, videotape and signed affidavits proving the assertions some of us make concerning the machinations of the Obama administration and socialist encroachment at large, but we all are aware by now that this is a diversion. It’s also a good indicator that we’re correct in said assertions. Like the left’s tendency for projection, wherein they accuse the opposition of that in which they are themselves engaged, it’s a fairly transparent ruse.

For example: On June 11, Lord Monckton reported in WND that a U.S. congressman told him the birth certificate for the president released by the White House was “unquestionably a forgery,” and “We all know that.” The congressman went on to cite fear of political retribution as the rationale for most cases of Obama’s political opponents eschewing the subject.

Rather risk-averse when compared to those who founded this nation, and cowardly considering the stakes, but we’ll move on.

There are things that go beyond the pale even of political intrigue and scandal, and there is ample evidence the president has been involved in some of these also. Once again, you’re not going to get peer-reviewed studies, videotape, or signed affidavits here. But the coincidences or confluence of events tend to dispel the idea that these are wild accusations.

In fact, they’re not accusations at all; they’re theories.

There is an entire true crime novel in the case of the Trinity United Church murders, two gay men known to Obama who were killed execution-style in 2007 at a time when charges of homosexuality and drug use were being leveled at the candidate. Years later, as reported in WND, an entire network of closeted professional gay black men at the Chicago church was exposed.

Ancillary to the question of Obama’s eligibility, there was the case of Leiutenant Quarles Harris Jr. (not a military officer; he just had a weird name), a hustler who was also killed execution-style on April 18, 2008, during an investigation into the theft of the passport records of candidate Obama, Sen. John McCain and Sen. Hillary Clinton. John Brennan, who became Obama’s counterterrorism adviser and later CIA chief, was also implicated in this case (of the passport records, not the murder).

On Aug. 6, 2012, Jennifer Gallagher, a 46-year-old nurse, drowned mysteriously while vacationing with her family in Iowa. Gallagher had been on the team that attended to victims of the July 20 Aurora, Colo., theater shooting. She was also among staffers who met with President Obama during his highly publicized visit of the shooting victims. Several inconsistencies came to light in the theater shooting accounts and aspects of the subsequent investigation; one can’t help but wonder if Gallagher came by information on the night of the shooting that wound up being detrimental to her health.

Then, of course, we have the off-the-chart suspicious death of journalist Michael Hastings on June 18 in a car wreck worthy of any action film. The circumstances surrounding the incident are right out of a political thriller and have all the hallmarks of a staged accident. Hastings was the individual whose reporting brought down the career of Gen. Stanley McChrystal; reportedly under government surveillance, he was also said to be working on a story involving domestic government spying at the time of his death.

So there we have it. There are more than a few other suspicious deaths that some attribute to Obama, from his dog trainer to Andrew Breitbart. I have asserted that the attack on the Libyan mission on Sept. 11, 2012, had its genesis in Obama’s need to “erase” either the administration’s illegal operations in Libya or Ambassador Christopher Stevens himself.

Whether or not the president had a hand in any or all of these may never be known for certain, even if his treason someday becomes common knowledge. What chills the blood in this time of domestic spying, drones, data mining centers and FEMA camps is the possibility that there are those working among us who might actually be willing to kill for this treacherous mobster.

DL Foster #fundie #homophobia rightwingwatch.org

The clear common motivator in all oppressive movements [slavery, anti-suffrage, Jim Crow racism] was financial gain, not biblical dishonesty which facilitated systemic power over another group. The bible’s words became a convenient tool in the hands of these people. Not only the Bible, but the US Constitution was misused as well.

But there exists no such financial benefit for people who correctly interpret scripture in reference to homosexual practices. No one who believes, teaches and upholds the sexual standards of the bible stands to benefit financially from doing so. In an ever increasing age of intolerant tolerance, such people and organizations actually are penalized for not falling in line with homosexual inclusion ideology. Logically, for the church to be compared to the aforementioned oppressive movements, it would have to allow homosexual inclusion.

Therefore its the religious progays who are financially benefiting from the misinterpretation of scripture just like slaveowners, the anti-suffrage sexists and the jim crow racists.

If the progay clerics and organizations and had any intellectual honesty, they would inform their followers that they are part of a longstanding tradition of lying for financial gain. American slaveowners did it, the anti-suffragists did it, the jim crow racists did it and the pro homosexual apostate church is doing it.

Beck has really played that same game of finding - and I'm just going to be blunt - what I call modern day Judases who are willing to sell out the faith for money to basically stand next to Beck and give his lie that he's a Christian credibility.

Just so your audience understands, I don't care what Glenn Beck wants; If he thinks he's going to die and become the man in the moon, that's great, just like I don't care what Tom Cruise believes, obviously. But the difference is Tom Cruise doesn't want to run around paying high-profile evangelicals to give credence to a lie that he's a Christian like Beck does.

And that's my whole issue with Beck and my bigger issue with guys like Barton, John Hagee, James Robison to name a few, Ralph Reed again. People that have come alongside Beck, have utilized his media empire - that's been their lure - and in return, they never confront Beck on his false beliefs, they never speak out against this cult that is leading souls to Hell. And so, I believe that God's really going to hold these people accountable for literally selling out the Gospel for thirty pieces of silver.

Pat Robertson #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Today on the 700 Club, televangelist Pat Robertson reflected on a recent reading of the Old Testament and warned gays and lesbians that the land will “vomit you out.” Robertson said that Leviticus lists homosexuality as an “abomination” on par with incest and bestiality, “and those who do that in the Old Testament were stoned to death.”

He feared that the US is not heeding the Bible’s teaching that “the nations who were doing these things were vomited out of the land and the land vomited them out.”

“For some reason now the Supreme Court has said homosexuality is now a constitutional right and this decision that was handed down recently by the majority glorifies this activity and talks about the civil rights and all this, well the Bible didn’t talk about civil rights it talked about this was an offense against God and it was an offense against the land and the land would vomit you out.” Robertson continued. “Which is going to take precedence, the Supreme Court of the United States or the holy word of God?”

Greg Quinlan #homophobia #wingnut #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Greg Quinlan, an “ex-gay” activist who is slated to speak at the Family Research Council’s “Ex-Gay Pride Month” event later this July, told his personal story yesterday to Bradlee Dean and Jake McMillan of Sons of Liberty Radio.

Quinlan told the radio hosts that he once was a supporter of the Human Rights Campaign — “As I put it, what the Devil turned me to do I can now use for the Lord” — and it was during his time volunteering for HRC that he learned that Justices Anthony Kennedy and Elena Kagan are secretly gay. Kagan and Kennedy, Quinlan insisted, are “black-robed Nazis” who seek to “accommodate their own personal predilections, including their own sexuality.”

“Mr. Kennedy has a predilection on the down low,” Quinlan said, channeling Pat Robertson.

He added that President Obama is also “a down low president.”

Quinlan later asserted that gay rights advocates seek to bring about “the end of the church,” “destroy” the US Constitution—and rise to power just as they did in Nazi Germany.

After maintaining that the Nazis were led by “the butch, masculine types that still participate in homosexuality,” McMillan asked if Rachel Maddow, whom Dean unsuccessfully sued for $50 million, “would be considered a butch or a femme.” Quinlan answered that Maddow is both a butch (because she’s a Nazi) and a femme (because she wears lipstick): “She would definitely be a butch but she is a butch who has to be a femme, meaning she has to put on lipstick.” Quinlan and McMillan then warned that gays and lesbians are coming after children. “We speak to it from protecting the next generation. My gosh, the crimes are horrendous and we know what the end of it is, they are always going for the schools, they want little boys,” McMillan charged. Quinlan, agreed, saying that gays and lesbians want “little boys and little girls.”

Rep. Louie Gohmert #fundie rightwingwatch.org

After making a bizarre argument about the incompatibility of marriage equality and evolution, Gohmert claimed that Obama is merely a “proclaimed Christian” and contended that the president has “gone to war with Christianity.”

“The gloves have come off, there really is a war by this administration against not just the Catholic Church but the Christian Church,” he said. Gohmert charged that under Obama “you can’t practice what you believe about birth control, about abortion, this administration will tell you what religious practices you can participate in and what you can’t.”

He also suggested the government may begin collecting personal information such as medical and phone records and emails of Christians to use against them[.]

Rick Wiles #fundie rightwingwatch.org

“Life in America changed today to life in Mystery Babylon,” Wiles lamented, arguing that the DOMA ruling is part of a larger “war on the laws of God and the Christian heritage of the United States of America” that is leading America into a “moral sinkhole.”

"Why do I have this gnawing feeling in my gut that the real reason to militarize the border is not to keep the Mexicans out but to keep the Americans in? Janet Mefferd #fundie rightwingwatch.org

On Wednesday, Religious Right broadcaster Janet Mefferd didn’t hold back in expressing her outrage over the Supreme Court’s decision to vacate the appeal of the Prop 8 case over standing, calling the court’s ruling “completely insane.”

“If you think this is just an attack on marriage, it isn’t; it’s an attack on your liberty, an attack on the rule of law and it’s an attack on every person in California who went to the polls and legally voted to change the constitution of the state of California,” Mefferd said, “and the Supreme Court basically spat on them today.” Mefferd had a dim view of California: “Look who you have running your state, all these people have done in the California legislature is it’s gay law here and gay law there and gay role models and ban gay reparative therapy for minors—it’s totalitarian.”

Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner #fundie #sexist #homophobia rightwingwatch.org

(Women and hats and gay marriage caused God to burn down Colorado)

Buehner: Colorado is asking for judgment and God is delivering it in little pieces. He is very gracious that He hasn’t destroyed the whole state yet; I think that’s an act of grace. But then the question is: of all of Colorado, why Colorado Springs? I mean, Colorado Springs is the Christian mecca. Why not wipe out Boulder or Denver? I mean those people are in more radical rebellion.

Swanson: Oh yeah, they’re Democrats up there.

Buehner: And the answer is: judgment begins in the House of God.

Swanson: Coming back from Australia, I’m stuck in fourteen hours of these visual presentations, sitcoms and stuff, on seventeen screens in front of me and I’ve never seen so many breasts in all of my life. The immodesty going on in our society is far worse than it was back when Cheers, Family Ties and The Cosby Show was playing. I mean every form of aberrant sexuality and women’s breasts are shown in front of me almost nonstop for fourteen hours. It’s just such an oppressive, horrible, horrible world and so many of our young girls in our Christian churches are running down to Wal-Mart and buying the same clothes. These are the sorts of things that I’m bringing out in front of God’s people, I’m saying: how are we going to repent of the sexual sin that is paraded in front of us in the wider culture? Why do we have to submit to theses sexual sins again and again?

I brought up androgyny and how many young boys are running out and doing the metrosexual thing with the skinny pants and the little fairy shoes. They’re working on the gender blender for themselves and they don’t want to look like a man and God is just so upset, He hates it when man are not manly in their approach. 1 Corinthians 6 speaks about homosexuality and feminine behavior and feminine dress for men. God does not want men to be androgynous and feminine like in their approach; He gave them facial hair for a reason.

These are the sorts of things that I preached yesterday because I said, you could just say, ‘well all of the unisex, homosexual, metrosexual stuff that’s out in the world is so bad but we’re not going to repent of anything, we’re not going to look any different, we’re not going to bear any fruits of repentance in the way that we dress and the way that we interact.’ Then I brought out the whole thing on feminism and how feminism has corrupted our women today. I brought out this quote from Forbes magazine, July 27, 2012:

It’s hard to deny the key role that fashion has played in the women’s movement—Ms. Magazine points to New York City women garment workers in the early 20th century who wore hats to signify that they were earning their own money, and thus financially independent. Women in the 1980s adopted a male style of dress—ties, tailored skirt suits, shoulder pads—in order to gain a foothold in the male dominated world of business. And Carol Moseley Braun, the first African American woman elected to the U.S. Senate, wore a pantsuit on the Senate floor in 1993, ending the Senate’s ban on women wearing slacks there.

My question was: Do you resist feminist trends? Do you argue with it? Do you find ways to oppose it? Or do you just succumb to it and just kowtow to feminism? Dave, I’m afraid this stuff is all over the place in our nice little evangelical, reformed, conservative, fundamentalist churches.

Buehner: Kevin my main text this last Lord’s Day: God is a consuming fire.

Dan Patrick #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Texas Republican state senator Dan Patrick is not impressed by Wendy Davis. Despite Davis’ all day filibuster of an anti-choice bill, Patrick thinks he is the one that deserves the praise. Patrick, the sponsor of the bill, told Mike Huckabee today that he urged his fellow Republicans to break Senate tradition and stop the filibuster.

He compared his action to Jesus’ criticism of the Pharisees for placing too much importance on “laws and rules.” Patrick went on to encourage other senators to similarly cast off the law, asking, “Are we going to become the modern day Pharisees as Republicans of the Senate?”

Patrick also criticized the crowd that turned out to support Davis, calling it an “organized mob” carrying out an attack on the government. He blamed their behavior on the fact that they were Democrats, because “a tea party would never do this.”

Pennsylvania Rep. Gary Sims, an openly gay legislator, was blocked from speaking on the floor of the state House on Wednesday by a colleague who believed Sims’ plans to speak about the U.S. Supreme Court’s marriage decision would be in "open rebellion against God’s law.”

According to WHYY, Rep. Daryl Metcalfe raised a procedural objection to stop Sims from speaking during a part of the House session in which legislators often give wide-ranging remarks.

"I did not believe that as a member of that body that I should allow someone to make comments such as he was preparing to make that ultimately were just open rebellion against what the word of God has said, what God has said, and just open rebellion against God's law," said Metcalfe, R-Butler.

I discovered that MSNBC's socialist news commentator Rachel Maddow played a soundbite of me on her program last night. Thank you, Rachel. I appreciate the publicity even though there aren't that many people watching MSNBC, but I'll take all the publicity I can get.

The people who do watch it, however, have a visceral hate for Jesus Christ and Christians. In fifteen years of full-time ministry, I have never read or heard such ugly, hateful, threatening, vulgar, obscene, blasphemous messages in my life. Ever. I won't even repeat them because some of the things that they said about our lord and savior Jesus Christ is so vulgar, so blasphemous, that it only could be uttered by people who are demon-possessed.

The spirit of Antichrist is loose in America. A man of lawlessness is in the White House. His followers hate Christianity. And most of the American Christian church has yet to realize the scope and depth of this hellish hate that is boiling in the Obamanistas towards anybody who dares to profess biblical Christianity and morality.

It is the same spirit that rose up in the Nazis in Germany towards the Jews. This time it will be the Christians in America who are locked up or put to death.

Walid & Theodore Shoebat #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Walid Shoebat: Glenn Beck isn't really calling for Christianity. He lies when he says 'I'm a Christian, I believe in salvation through Jesus Christ' because he, number one, denies the Trinity; number two, he's a deist. In other words, he believes Muslims and Mormons and all the cults together, Buddhists, believe in God and everybody should conform to this deistic view in belief in God. Why? Because we have a more important thing to deal with and that is the salvation of the country as a nation.

Theodore Shoebat: Why is Glenn Beck so fascinated with universalism? Why does he keep pushing universalism? Because it is part of his religion. People need to understand this about Mormonism. Mormonism is an extreme version of Chrislam. Joseph Smith observed the most extreme form of Islam you could ever imagine. In 1855, the earliest leaders of Mormonism, of the Latter-Day Saints, got together specifically to exalt the Prophet Muhammad. Joseph Smith stated that Muhammad was a prophet of god and that Muhammad suffered just as I have suffered; he paralleled himself to Muhammad. And in a very famous speech he made, the speech called 'Al-Koran or The Sword,' Joseph Smith stated 'in this generation, I will be the second Muhammad. Where it was in his generation the Koran or the sword, it will be in this generation Joseph Smith or the sword.'

Walid Shoebat: The Latter-Day Saints church has sought to respect Islamic laws, that is sharia - that's the thing that Glenn Beck claims to be fighting - and traditions that prohibit conversions of Muslims to other faiths by adopting a policy of non-proselytizing in Islamic countries in the Middle East. In other words, Mormons are not allowed to proselytize to Muslims in the Middle East. Why? Because basically they have the same faith.

Linda Harvey #fundie rightwingwatch.org

As Harvey explained it, if gay marriage ever becomes accepted at part of the culture norm, it will fundamentally warp the worldview of children who will grow up thinking that it is okay to marry someone of the same sex. And if that ever happens, "it will revolutionize the psychology and spiritual development" of children by removing the fundamental "security level" that all previous generations understood. "It's going to mess with their hearts, their minds, their spirits, and their bodies," Harvey warned. "I think that we are looking toward; I don't know that this is, maybe it's too strong a word, but raising barbarians."

Linda Harvey #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Mission America’s Linda Harvey yesterday attacked the College Republican National Committee for acknowledging that the GOP’s anti-gay stances were alienating young voters, who overwhelmingly support gay rights, and asking the party to “welcome healthy debate on the policy topic at hand.” She compared such a move to a science teacher instructing a class that there is a “healthy debate” as to whether the sun revolves around the earth because some “low-information students” think that’s how the solar system works. While that is actually a great argument against teaching intelligent design and creationism in schools, Harvey said the situation would be like the GOP adjusting its rhetoric around abortion rights and gay equality in order to attract young voters. Harvey even drew a parallel between same-sex marriage and racism: “Would a responsible party welcome a healthy debate on racism? Of course not.” “Makes perfect sense until you remember that these young voters don’t know what they’re talking about,” Harvey continued. “Rather than pledge to educate the uninformed, the segment of these younger voters who are showing the effectiveness of propaganda but little wisdom; no, these researchers recommend the GOP back off of the truth.” She accused the young Republicans of “ignoring all the evidence” about the supposed harms of homosexuality, which she said is “being packaged and sold to vulnerable children,” and catering to the “militant gay lobby.” Harvey even called for a third party based on Tea Party and religious values if the GOP turns into “the meaningless party.”

The Marxist revolutionary in the White House, Barack Obama, and his regime has empowered the IRS to implement and enforce compliance to Obamacare. The agency admitted earlier this week that the cheapest Obamacare health care policy for uninsured families will be a whopping $20,000 per year. And if you don’t pay your Obamacare extortion money, the IRS will come after you. Is it any wonder the IRS has been harassing conservative, patriotic and Christian organizations that oppose the passage of Obamacare and other parts of the Obama Marxist revolution? Should we be surprised that the NSA is secretly gathering the telephone records of tens of millions of Americans? This isn’t about fighting terrorism in Afghanistan, this is about population control in the USA. When we posted an article on TruNews.com today about the NSA gathering our private telephone records to be stored in their massive big data surveillance complex in Utah, I posted with the article a photo of Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich military officers. What is quickly rising in the USA is the Fourth Reich of the Nazi Empire; this is the Fourth Beast as foretold by Daniel in the Holy Bible. I blame America’s preachers for this mess, this modern day Nazi regime did not appear overnight in America. [Emphasis added]

During the program, host Jim Schneider read Michael Swift’s obviously satirical “Gay Manifesto,” the 1987 essay which facetiously talks about gay “private armies” that will “conquer the world” and defeat the “hetero swine,” as if it was a serious political treatise, lamenting that “we are seeing item by item virtually everything that he has laid out here to be fulfilled today.”

LaBarbera: It’s shocking. It’s shockingly evil, just the demonic [pride behind] that essay is just stunning. Absolutely. This may have been a satirical essay but it’s shocking, it’s amazing how so much of that came true. I think about the characters on TV, how many people these days tell you every time you turn on the TV set there’s a favorable depiction of an openly homosexual character, it’s like the good guys are the homosexuals and the bad guys are heterosexuals. We see this again and again. Basically, homosexual power has grown exponentially in our culture and a lot of the things that essay talked about are actually happening. [Emphasis added]

Pat Robertson #fundie rightwingwatch.org

[re: Boy Scouts removing ban on gay youths]

“Two percent deciding what the rest of us does,” Robertson warned, “and they are willing to destroy it. Hollywood and the so-called liberal media has jumped on board that this is the new civil rights, well I don’t think so.”

He went on to say that it “breaks your heart” to see the Boy Scouts “torn up in order to accommodate a few kids who want to do sex with each other. It just boggles the mind.”

Jerome Corsi #fundie rightwingwatch.org

In a speech recently posted online, prolific conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi claims that the gay rights movement will ultimately lead to the legalization of pedophilia, bestiality and “snuff films” in which you “kill a few people because it’s sexually exciting.” “If sex becomes disassociated from a biblical purpose, than all the abuses we saw in paganism are about to return,” Corsi warns, adding that if the country “proceeds down this path—there will no longer be any basis for freedom in the United States.”

Kevin Swanson & Dave Beuhner #fundie rightwingwatch.org

[re: Stark Trek: Into Darkness]

Swanson: Do I really want to take my kids to watch a movie that implicates the good guy in the film as mating with the wrong species- but not just one, but two.

Beuhner: Well you know I could understand that Christians would get upset if it was a male of a different species. No actually, I’m not sure that the bestiality and the homosexuality are really all that different. [Emphasis added]

Swanson: So uh Dave I said to myself we’re not gonna go see that movie. So, you know, you gotta draw the line somewhere don’t ya? I mean, ay yay yay. And how many Christians asked that question? I actually did a survey, I mean I went on to Google and kind of goggled, you know, Christian sites, I mean I try not to put the wrong kind of wording into the Google search, cause if you do that, you can be in a heap of trouble. So I did a little search, turns out there was a Catholic site, had a little forum discussion on the issue. And nobody brought up Leviticus 18 Dave, and of course the whole premise of this is that within an evolutionary construct there is no real problem with speciation and cross-species mating, there’s no problem with that at all, in fact that’s how you evolve, that’s how you get evolution, and so the end result of course is that evolution has no basic problem with bestiality or cross-species mating. Okay? Now some of you are saying that I can’t believe these guys are saying this on this radio program. I can’t believe I’m saying this either. They are going places where no man has gone before. Or should.

Kevin Swanson #fundie rightwingwatch.org

[Among millennials] 78% of moms are working outside of the home. 17% dad is the primary breadwinner. 61% the mom is the primary breadwinner. 29% are single moms. Okay, there it is. That’s it. 17% of dads, 61% of moms. Friends, it’s over. It’s over, it’s done. That’s it. That’s the end of it. It’s the end of manhood, it’s the end of men, it’s the end of fatherhood, it’s done, we’ve gone over the cliff. 61% of moms are primary breadwinners, 17% of dads among the millenialls, and 78% of moms are working outside of the home. It’s over. There will be no more mothers and of course there are no more fathers. It’s over. And that’s the way that the average Christian, Christian homeschooler, Christian public schooler, that’s the way they’re raising their kids. They’re raising their kids such that 61% of their daughters will be the primary breadwinners and 17% of their sons will be primary breadwinners. Those are the numbers and that’s the numbers that came out from the Pew Research last week. And this is not going to last another generation friends. This is the last generation. You all understand, this is the last. Our society, our social systems are not going to last for another generation. This is the end of it. When there are no more dads, no more fathers, it’s over.

Kevin Swanson #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Because there are so many women in the work force, the women’s hearts are not home. There are far more men who say it would be better if moms could stay home because apparently the dads still care about the kids. The moms, it’s a lower percentage Dave, 45% say it’d be better if moms were home, 67% of men say it would be better if moms were home, meaning there are far far more women- or far far more men- who say that it’d be better if moms were home because women care less about their children and about the influence they could have on their children because Dave I think they’re already in the work force and they certainly don’t want to say it’d be better if I were home. That’s the issue.
...
They’ve been the recipient of a culture, a Margaret Sanger culture, Dave, that has told them ‘You do not love your children, you kill your children. You do not love your children, you kill your children. You do not love your children.’ The Betty Friedans have said, ‘You do not love your children. You get out of that house, you do not raise your children. You do not love your children.’ They have been under that nonstop for the last 50 to 60 to 70 to 80 years. The feminist zeitgeist has been incredibly powerful in working in the hearts and minds of so many tens of millions if not hundreds of millions of women in the Western world. Friends, women do not love their children as they used to.

The scamnesty plan is a plan to bring in a gazillion Democrat voters. The people who have not been given immigration status because they are a doctor or an engineer or some other skill that would be beneficial in the United States economy, but instead the people that would be given amnesty ultimately by this procedure that Rubio and company have been unleashing are those that don’t have even high school educations, are barely literate in their own Spanish language. I’m fluent in Spanish and I’ve spoken with some of these people and it’s amazing that they can’t even spell in Spanish when you have almost a completely phonetic language. I’ve taught people to read in Spanish if they could competently speak the language, I’ve taught them to read it’s that phonetic. Yet the people that would be coming in illiterate in Spanish, they’re going to be Democrats, they’re going to be dependents, they’re not going to be working at a nuclear reactor or a car factory, they’re going to be probably just sitting around drawing welfare and voting Democrat.

If at the point where they have embraced some of the absolute worst abominations found in the word of God, friends I would think people would wake up and say, ‘you know what I just don’t want my children growing up with the idea that we accept this kind of behavior as righteous behavior.’ Friends, this is the disintegration of society and morality as we know it, this is where it happens, right here. Unless parents wake up and get their kids out of the Boy Scouts and out of the Girl Scouts, I personally think you’re going to lose your kids, you’re going to lose your kids to these worldly ideas, you’re going to lose your kids to these civilization-destroying things like homosexuality. My encouragement right now is all good people, any parent who loves his kid should get their kids out of the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts because they are endorsing some of this unrighteous behavior. This is the kind of stuff that is destroying our nation and our civilizations.

[He's an ex-gay therapist]

The good news is, at least with the people that I’ve seen, not a lot of people, when the healing takes place those areas of the brain that were showing the homosexuality show heterosexuality. I have had several people who when I looked at them I couldn’t tell the difference between a heterosexual who never was homosexual and them, which means the brain is able to go back and fire the way it is supposed to be, which is an argument against the whole idea of someone was born that way.

Matt Trewhella #fundie #homophobia rightwingwatch.org

After quoting from a column by Brian Camenker from MassResistance on the supposedly detrimental effects of marriage equality in Massachusetts, Trewhella said gay marriage “totally changes the entire culture” but that most Americans “don’t care anyway.”

“Your children would be getting perverted in their minds by these filthy people,” Trewhella claimed, before turning his venom to straight people who don’t condemn gays and lesbians: “I have no respect for people who are parents, who actually have children, and have no problem with homosexuality or homosexual marriage. They are the most base people on the planet to have totally abandoned every God-given vestige to protect your child from the filth of homosexuality, to blatantly go along with it is disgusting.”

Michelle Bachmann #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Bachmann: It’s no secret that our nation may very well be experiencing the hand of judgment. It’s no secret that we all are concerned that our nation may be in a time of decline. If that is in fact so, what is the answer? The answer is what we are doing here today: humbling ourselves before an almighty God, crying out to an almighty God, saying not of ourselves but you, would you save us oh God? We repent of our sins, we turn away from them, we seek you, we seek your ways. That’s something that we’re doing today, that we did on the National Day of Prayer, it’s something that we have chosen to do as well on another landmark day later this year on September 11. Our nation has seen judgment not once but twice on September 11. That’s why we’re going to have ‘9/11 Pray’ on that day. Is there anything better that we can do on that day rather than to humble ourselves and to pray to an almighty God?

Rick Joyne #fundie rightwingwatch.org

Rick Joyner is under the impression that far-right domestic terrorist Timothy McVeigh was actually a “left-wing extremist” and that “the terrorist attacks that have taken place in this country if they have come from extremists they have come from the left-wing,” which proves that Joyner either knows absolutely nothing about McVeigh and domestic terrorism or is simply lying.

Joyner, who was speaking to televangelist Jim Bakker, continued by laughably claiming, “I am in the center, I am a moderate.”

Either promoting dominionism, blaming Hurricane Katrina on gay people, alleging that a secret cabal caused the 2008 economic crash to help Obama win the election and encouraging a “second American revolution” makes someone a moderate or Joyner’s perceptions on centrism are a tad skewed.

He later reiterated the claim of his fellow “prophet” Bob Jones that “the number one most powerful terrorist organization in the world is not Al Qaeda, it is our media.”

E. W. Jackson #fundie rightwingwatch.org

E. W. Jackson, the Republican candidate for lieutenant governor of Virginia, said he opposes emergency federal aid in the case of natural disasters during his unsuccessful bid for U.S. Senate last year.

In response to a question regarding the role of government “in helping folks following predictable natural disasters,” Jackson replied: “I don’t think that the federal government has much of a role at all constitutionally, at all.”

“I think as a constitutional matter the federal government doesn’t have a whole lot to do with that,” he continued, lamenting that “we’ve turned the federal government into a kind of God and you turn to the federal government for everything.”

“We don’t need the heavy hand of federal government stepping in every time something goes wrong,” Jackson said. “I don’t think there is any constitutional authority to do it.”

Linda Harvey #homophobia rightwingwatch.org

Shouldn’t an employer have the right to uphold high moral standards in his or her company? Or shouldn’t schools have the right to not have open homosexuals or cross-dresses modeling that lifestyle to kids? This does not deprive anyone of a job by the way, except those who insist on displaying these lifestyles to everyone and forcing their acceptance. Such behavior shows a disrespect for two things: everyone else around them and for hardcore facts. The fact is that no one needs to be involved in homosexuality and all of the good qualities a person may have that might make that person otherwise an excellent employee don’t require a homosexual lifestyle. Now the activists won’t like this and I may get another slew of hateful emails and such from the tolerance crowd but really where is the actual concern for the rights and beliefs of others?

David Barton #fundie rightwingwatch.org

I've gone on record before, and I'll say it again: I think Romans 1:27 is one of the reasons that we'll never find a complete cure for AIDS; and if we do there will be another disease pop up like this bacterial meningitis because the Bible says this, Romans 1:27 says 'men committed shameful acts with other men, sexual acts, and received in themselves the due penalty for the error.'

There is going to be a consequence for this type of sexual behavior, so even if we find a cure for AIDS, something like bacterial meningitis is going to pop up; if we cure that, something else is going to pop up because God says there is a penalty in your own body when you do this kind of sexual acts - the Bible calls them shameful sexual acts - and so we as Christians have to have that same position, regardless of what the culture says.

How about Hillary Clinton? That frickin' assbag has not only been involved in drug trafficking out of Mena, Arkansas, okay? Not only that; and all these people try to have this plausible deniability thing, yeah sure, they're removed, they're just a bunch of politicians. Well, guess where they got all of the money to acquire the power that they have?

This 'C U Next Tuesday,' Hillary Clinton, has been involved in the killings of American troops. Namely, the mysterious suicide of the emotionally unstable Navy SEAL commander who just so happened to be involved in all of her dealings in the Middle East, okay. And he just mysteriously got suicided along with everyone else associated with the Clinton family. Miss Hillary Clinton needs to be convicted, she needs to be tried, convicted and shot in the vagina. I wanna pull the trigger. That 'C U Next Tuesday' has killed human beings that are in our ranks of our service.
I want to remind you that in Benghazi, Miss Hillary 'the fricken' biggest vagina on the face of the planet' told troops to stand down and to not go in and interfere with the operation that they set up because they're moving arms; Barack Obama is moving drugs through the CIA out of Afghanistan and Barack Obama needs to be tried, convicted, and shot for crimes against the United States of America. And if anybody has a problem with that, then you are an enemy of our state.

..
I want to shoot [Clinton] right in the vagina and I don't want her to die right away; I want her to feel the pain and I want to look her in the eyes and I want to say 'on behalf of all Americans that you've killed, on behalf of the Navy SEALS,' ... the families of Navy SEAL Team Six who were involved in the fake hunt down of this Obama bin Laden thing, that whole fake scenario - because these Navy SEALS know the truth, they killed them all - on behalf of all of those people, I'm supporting our troops by saying we need to try, convict, and shoot Hillary Clinton in the vagina.

Of course, the Big Brother biometric scanning mandate would be arriving in time to coincide with the completion today of the One World Trade Center in New York City.

Workers cheered and whistled as they completed the spire on the skyscraper that replaces the World Trade Center tower destroyed by the Illuminati on September 11, 2001.

The new One World Tower is one thousand, seven hundred and seventy six feet high. Supposedly the height is in celebration of the American Revolution. My guess is it's in recognition of the Free Mason/Illuminati New World Order started in 1776 that they hope to complete in 2013.

How dare anybody say Jesus Christ can’t heal homosexuals and help them overcome. Jesus forgives murderers; he restores the most vile criminals, rapists, alcoholics, drunks; yet we are going to say that Jesus can’t change homosexuals, people trapped in homosexuality? That is an insult to God himself.

Bryan Fischer #fundie rightwingwatch.org

[John Maynard Keynes] was a narcissist, he was a hedonist and he was a homosexual...his view of history is very shortsighted, short-circuited, he cared about himself and his generation exclusively; so homosexuality in the end is going to be responsible for the collapse of the Western economy.

Rep. Steve Palazzo #fundie rightwingwatch.org

The congressman said he would do anything he could “to protect the Boy Scouts from this popular culture, this liberal agenda that is being crammed down their throat,” arguing that “the Boy Scouts are actually being bullied worse than any group or organization that has ever been bullied before.”

“They are being harassed and at the end of the day they are also being ridiculed by some in the liberal media,” he added. Palazzo asked if America cannot tell the Boy Scouts to “stand strong” and preserve its ban on gay members, “then what do we stand for as a country?”
