I just came across this subreddit, and it made me remember a tale from my younger days as a boy of just 16 years old.
Just for context, my younger sister is around 8 years younger than me, and she was (not anymore though) a VERY spoiled child. What I thought was most interesting about that article was that he didn't mention "TERFs" or "feminists" at all. Which is not what he usually does, he's usually going on and on about how much he hates them. I took that as an indication that he didn't want to spread the idea of "TERF"yness or gender criticism any further when commenting in a mainstream outlet since he realizes peak trans is coming and doesn't want any more members of the public to catch on to GC ideas.
Also, there has been at least a few raging threads on the UK subs of late about this, and possibly more (I haven't been keeping up with them lately). This is the most recent one that comes to mind. The mods were deleting many of the gender critical comments, but not all. Some were of course being heavily downvoted, but not all. Most of the recent threads have played out that way, from what I have seen.
I think that the Gender Recognition Act is going to force a public conversation on what transgenderism actually is and that that public conversation is going to (hopefully) push peak trans. Or rather: I hope that this will be the case.
What do you think? Is mass peak trans actually happening in the UK or am I being Pollyannish and grasping at straws? Do you know of other indicators of mass peak trans possibly brewing in the UK?
I believe that peak trans is inevitable for just about everyone with any critical thinking abilities. For better or worse, the shit has just begun to hit the fan in the wider public sphere, and the harmful repercussions of trans demands are going to become ever more apparent. It's actually a great thing that the more obviously immature/mentally ill trans activists are being emboldened (e.g. Lily Madigan).
I am absolutely certain that he will help bring about peak trans by saying or doing something that even his most fervent handmaidens will not be able to defend. Can't wait! Also, males competing against females in international sports is going to wake some people up but good. The funny thing is that the things that trans activists think of as victories are what will ultimately bring them down (e.g., censoring the CBC documentary, which makes them look way worse than if it had aired). Dna test showing at >95% white means automatic entry. Individuals below 95% but greater than or equal to 75% can go before a panel of individuals who will judge whether or not the person is white. For example, a 3 person panel where all 3 must say a person is white for entry. Maybe lower it to 2/3 for females.
I see all these arguments about peaceful parenting and how parents have all these obligations to children. Yet I never see any mention about the obligations children have towards their parents.
What incentive is there for parents to have children if there is nothing to be gained from it? The way all these discussions are framed is that everything flows to the children and the children get treated like kings. If you create a system disincentives something, then you can expect to get less of it. Is that the goal, to eliminate children from the world?
The only consistent position I have ever seen is that children are property of their parent. The parents created them from nothing, which is the basis of the homesteading principle. Every other example of property acquisition is lesser than creating something yourself, so if children aren't owned by their parents, then all property ownership is brought into question. Allowing a community to dictate what a parent can or can not do is the entire basis of communism.
Once you accept that children are property, then you can better understand peoples behavior towards them. An owner doesn't damage his own property, since he's only hurting himself. There is a disincentive for people to crash their cars or burn down their own houses, since they are depriving themselves of their own property.

By a child free-loading in the parent's house, the child is forcing the parents to work. Kicking someone out of the house and into nature is the default position, where we're all alone and nobody affects anyone else. When the person gets tired of sitting in the dirt and in the cold, then they will have to work to improve their situation.
Justice is giving every man what is his due. You can't take from one person to give to another without causing an injustice to the person you're taking something from. Society therefore has an expectation that we all provide for our own minimal care. If someone can't provide for themselves, then they have to rely on charity. Forcing people to do anything else would be an injustice.

In my experience (psychology studies, published research, own experiences and layman observation) one important aspect is that a 15-year old person has not at all the same means to use a against his/hers 15-year old victim as a 25 year old. 18 isn't a magic number and the age of consent isn't same in all countries. 25 wouldn't be a bad idea. Or a maturity test. However, I suppose 18 is seen as good enough approximation.
I say we go with a maturity test since age really isn't the issue is it? Most people here are bringing up maturity, experience and reason... why not simply just test for those things? That'd make a lot more sense for other things as well (e.g., driver's license, ability to drink).

I agree, but I think the "ugly direction" of which you speak is still outside what we're talking about. Even the OP basically admitted to physical intimidation to make her point, but that's something that is ALWAYS punishable no matter what age you are... it's kind of a cheap way to make her point.
I think the line should definitely be AFTER puberty starts to kick in and past the age of when we teach sex ed, but after that, I don't think it makes sense to punish people when their partner is seeking sex. When I was 13 (actually younger than that TBH), I was ready to go and it'd be a shame to think the women I was fantasizing over would be seen as manipulative for giving me what I wanted at the time.
Again, I think this has to do with society's views of sex. When a guy gets laid, it's awesome. When a girl gets laid, it's a strike and after she's had X amount of those, she's a slut. Why is it that men rarely go through this when they have sex at an early age? Because they're not shamed like women are.
The job of police is enforcing oppression. We won’t end racism, though, if we fail to acknowledge its more “decent” formulations. Otherwise decent people who shy away from this label lose out on its insights and its demands. White people will have to get in line and follow the march for racial equality, because the question isn’t answered, the solution isn’t here yet.
Even the most altruistic white advocate for racial justice or any cause stops advocating somewhere. There’s no easy answer for how much of ourselves to give to our causes, but for white people this is a cause that they give to, while for minorities it is a life that they experience. White people go home, eat, sleep, look after their own well being in ways no one could fault them, yet even so that is a (very reasonable) decision to prioritize their needs, in this case, over the needs of people of color. That’s not wrong. It’s also not a choice anyone else can make. Black skin can’t be shrugged off while more mundane needs are attended. White racism is not over until people no longer have to make a daily decision to put racial justice down and prioritize something else, promising to come back to it later.
In light of the above, a summary of our community standards might be:
Do not debate or undermine the existence or urgency of white racism. Debate as appropriate what solutions should look like. But no self-pity about how white racism is a challenge for otherwise decent white folk.

I'm Jewish, and when it comes to demographics I think it's more complicated than you make it. Just take a look around society, right now the White population is around 62%, and you can already see a massive anti-White zeitgeist. The amount of acceptable racism targeted at Whites is, frankly, utterly disgusting. Just look at the Alabama election and the #Blackwomen trend that began trending on Twitter afterward; White women were demonized for voting for Roy Moore with such vituperative anger that it made me feel nauseated. One White woman on Jezebel was irate about how her (completely innocent) daughter was crying from guilt after reading the hatred directed to her (because she was a White woman), and the widely upvoted response was that her daughter should learn her place and realize she's an enabler of White supremacy.
The grievance mongering is totally out of hand, and as Whites become a minority it will eventually lead to (at best) Whites being utterly despised and (at worst) potentially even an actual genocide (not in the way these clowns define it) in the future. As expelling minorities is cruel and immoral, so is allowing this absurd anti-White zeitgeist to continue. For the sake of their children, Whites are under no obligation to let the demographic decline continue apace.
