Has anyone seen the commercials for this new movie? It [a remake of the Exorcist] looks very disturbing and I feel like it might harm people who see it. It paints a terrible picture and everyone inside the theater will be immersed in that for 2 hours.

Ive found that Logic changes every few decades as new things and ideas are devloped. Logic some times is Illogical. For example...LOL...take Spock from Star Trek who constantlly acted illogical or found things that "should not be" according to Logic. 1000 years ago the thought of Space flight was Illogical.
The theory of evolution requires billions of years of constant violations of the 2nd Law. Evolution from chaos to organization is like an explosion in a print shop which somehow produces a dictionary or a blender transforming itself into the Starship Enterprise.
There are generational curses. Homosexuality is one. These people are born with a genetic disposition for the same-sex lifestyle, just as a drug addict or alcoholic are born with. God is not mocked. We are to reverance and homor our Lord. Making fun of God is outright blaspheme and disrespectful to Him and He doesn't just sit back and laugh with it like I see many christians doing. As far as aliens, well, they are stored somewhere else. I happen to know someone who worked for a place here in western NY that said they used to have one in "cold storage" in one of the lower levels of their government contract building. What is very exciting about radioactive decay is that G-d has been doing things for billions of years now. The exciting thing for us to see is that millions of years ago G-d created a totally alien planet on which huge reptiles existed and no modern day man could have lived with them. Then G-d created huge mamals and prehistoric men who eventually departed.
Now He has, once again, created a unique, intelectually inspired, universe in which we can experience His awe anew. Can one person observe "evolution"?
I can make assumptions about Nature and how it works, But i cant live long enough to observe "evolution" So....What Darwins Saw was Some animals that were like other animals but adapted to their enviroment....Is that evolution....nah I dont think so...I think thats God being smart enough to make life adaptible. Darwin NEVER saw a Dinosaur turn into a Swallow....nor any other lifefoem change into a new species....
Look how we as a species can adapt to almost any enviroment in just a few generations...Thats not evolution....the American Indians didnt become a new type of human....They just adapted.....Adaptation I beleave in....Evolution is as real as Trolls, Hobbits and Elves....
The problem that most have with dinosaurs and cavemen is that we are told that they didn't coexist. Theres absolutely no proof of this. Before the flood the Bible says that things lived longer. For instance Methuselah was 969 years old. Reptiles grow continuously until they die. Try to imagine one 1000 years old. It would be pretty stinking big. Yes there were probably species that existed then that do not now. But the same could be said about alot of animals, even humans.
The simple fact that there is intelligence on earth now means there had to have been intelligent design.
Even the simplest life forms on the planet have "intelligence". They consume energy in one form or another. They do things to surive, to maintain homeostasis. Why would they do that? How do they know how to do that? Why would they ever do it to begin with? To survive? How do they know what survival is? Why would these organisms even care if they survived? Why would they make an effort to survive?
Even macro evolution in and of itself would be strong evidence of intelligent design. Why would an organism get stronger? How does human skin know that a callus will protect it from abrasion injuries? How would life know to create antibodies to fight disease?
In the last 200 years, racial discrimination by Christians has largely stemmed from an acceptance of evolution in the Church which has also been used by Hitler, Stalin and others to justify the superiority of certain 'races' of people (ie. some are more evolved than others) over others. Of course, bearing the brunt of this satanic tirade has been the Jews and dark-skinned peoples such as Afro-Americans and Australian Aborigines (the original European settlers of Australia believed the Aborigines were one of the 'missing links' in the human evolutionary chain).
Darwin's "On the Origin of Species" is subtitled "By means of natural selection or the preservation of favoured races in the struggle for life". The mapping of the human genome has shown (at least on the biological level) that there is no difference between the so called 'races', and so once more we see the reliability of the Biblical account verified and the folly of evolutionary thinking exposed.
This just confirms a suspicion i told my husband about a few days ago, that i felt even the animals were becoming more and more aggressive, and viscious straying from the norm.
And i feel it all started with the fall of man.... i'm sure the animals have witnessed enough of what we have done. Wither it is leanred through what they observed, or wither it is neurological cause of all the pollution, we are to blame.

My techniques and skill of running the US would be second to none for starter's if i was president, i would place a early date to remove all troops in iraq and have less US interest's of interfaring around the world and i would build the strenght and encomy of the US in to a powerhouse.
Build greater relation's to other country's with the world iam a loveable person with a ability of greater depths's than other's of looking after inportant people with great repore.
I would stop same sex marrage from ever happening in the US and try to prevent tv promoteing it in there programs etc and i would do much more.
I’m a little surprised that none of you have mentioned “Intelligent Design”. Science has proven that a single cell is irreversible complex, being that it is impossible to have evolved. Both Christian and Non-Christian scientists now agree on this fact. World Mag said the church should refuse to take it, as "Jesus doesn't build His church on the backs of the poor".

What you refuse to do is to acknowledge intelligent design when it comes to all of creation. You look around you and see these things and can't help but admit to the intelligence of their design. Ok, maybe you can, but not honestly I don't beleive. Evidence of evolution is just too scanty. And specifically evidence that humans evolved from any other form. Yes there have been many various forms of bipedal creatures that resemble humans but not one shred of hard evidence that there was ever a transition from one form to another except for manufactured evidence by people who were desperately trying to find substantiation to a pre existing theory. Case in point is Lucy, manufactured from a couple fragments that were not even found on the same site but actually miles apart.
Intersting to note is that anthripological evidence of the present species of humans cannot be found that is much older than what Biblical origens would dictate. Now I realize this is arguable at some level and I am just a casual scholar of such things, but as far as I know Kenniwick man is the oldest know human found in our country and if I remember right he was dated back some 6000 years.
As far as saying our faith affects so much in everyone's life style...I don't know about your country except what you have said, but here, our country WAS founded on the Christian faith so it is deeply ingrained in everything....and anyone living here should just expect that...though I have to say that our faith isn't nearly affecting things like it did even a 100 years ago. Our influence is schools is almost nile now since prayer have been removed, the Ten Commandments removed...a kid can get into trouble for saying God or Jesus outloud....but wiccan and other reglion ARE catered too now...
I think its important for Christians to be aware of these myths [Mithraism and the early mystery religions] so they aren't taken off guard when its presented to them....so it doesn't shake their faith. One of the things athesit do is laugh at us when we aren't aware of these things saying, how do you know YOUR reglion is the right one if you haven't investagated these others? Part of that is to lurer you to learn about other reglions (and they hope you decide one of them is better then your own). But they try to claim these other reglions are proven just as much as ours....like for instance Budda was a real man and did live...though as far as some of the so called mircle he did, that is much harder to prove. With Jesus and His mircle there were many witnesses and man of the places and people in the bible are proven historically outside of the bible.

Anyway I think the Bible is very very old, perhaps as old as 120 million years. Maybe people lived much longer in ancient times and could travel along the planets. Jfr. Ezekiel's describsion of space crafts.

My theories combine quantum, and relativity into a single theory. It is called the theory of Triangularity. All of creation is manifested in a triangulated symmetrical 9 dimensional matrix. The system includes all of the large, Universal level and small subatomic level manifestations of matter and energy, time, and space, Gravity and, fundamental forces of the universe. Each is interconnected through a single source. All things are triangulated in their manifestation, duel in their nature, and one in purpose. Each triangle connects to every other triangle in a 9-D formation. This explains the Unified field theory, and the theory of everything. One problem academia has with finding the theory of everything is that they fail to take into account everything. By leaving the possibility of a Creator out of the picture they are missing half of the universal manifestations, which brings it all together. Once the duality of the physical/Spiritual is understood then the electron entanglement, spooky action, temporal relativity, and the possibility of eternity/infinity come into play thus forming a complete picture of all physical, spiritual, and multiversal /multitemporal manifestations become a singularity allowing for all the phenomena that we observe from our 3 ½ dimensional perspective. Some aspects of relativity seem to bear out, but relativity is not a fact. Black holes are not generally accepted as a fact. Recent observations bring the existence of black holes into question. The things you see on the Discovery channel are quite obsolete, as well as the theories put forth by academia. I wish I could tell you more but I don’t want to go to jail.
I also understand that the man who 'discovered' carbon dating, the crux of evolutionism, stated that the regular decay of the carbon atom was only 'reliable' up to about 10,000 years, and even that was iffy. So where does that put the age of the universe?
