Okay, so what if they make this mandatory, and us Christians have not been raptured yet? I was always under the impression that the mark of the beast would be in conjunction with worshipping the AC. That you would not get the mark of the beast unless you were willing to worship him. If he changes the policy, we are probably going to see about 25% of the military leave as soon as they can. Many of them will be officers and NCOs. My husband is retired from the army, but if he were not, he would be submitting his retirement papers asap. We will certainly discourage our son from following his dad into the military.
I won't go into detail here but when my husband was a commander he had to deal with several problems caused by gay soldiers. One of them involved the attempted homosexual assault of another male soldier.

So, let me get this straight. He's against all forms of torture, yet he has no problem with brutalizing abortions- including infanticide? I visited Haiti in 1984, and when I was there a missionary told us you couldn't understand the Haitian mindset without understanding voodoo. There are, according to the Constitution, classes of individuals that, because of thier inclusion in a group, are protected by our laws from discrimination....those include...Race....Sex....National Origin...Religion...and so on.

In my experience, arguing against Islam usually turns into a game of ping-pong and you find you've wasted much time and energy arguing against Islam, with little real progress gained with sharing Christ.
Muslims already know that something in their lives is missing, whether they share that with you or not.
Focus on Jesus and the basic gospel message more than arguing against Islam. Muslims don't want to even try to understand your arguments against Islam and they'll defend Islam to the end when there's just no reasonable defense left, simply because that's all the hope they know in this world.

I just don't understand it...... it just sickens me to the core. These little babies do feel pain. Did you know that their tiny heart begins beating at 5 weeks? I just keep telling myself that this world is going to be getting what it wants....tolerance to the point of destruction and then when the rapture happens and everything that is going on during the tribulation it is what they wanted. A blind eye was turned to evil, we forsook the Constitution that was to protect this once great Christian country.We forsook the God of our country. During the tribulation people will have to starve and get their head chopped off to stand for Christ or continue with their tolerance and spend eternity in hell. Wow! With the RCC it's all about deceiving, entrapping it's followers into beleiving that they NEED the RC traditions (sacraments, mass, indulgences, prayer cards, relics, false Jesus said to be in the Eucharist, false Mary) to get them to heaven otherwise they'll go to hell or to an imaginery place called Purgatory, with no chance of getting out and be declared an "anathema". This works out quite well for the POPE, cardinals, bishops and priests so the whole system can live on in Rome in all its finery, where the pompous Pope sits on a throne made literally of GOLD. And that is NO understatement. It's a money making self serving religious system in every sense. Jesus and his disciples were very HUMBLE and even Jesus himself did not place himself on a throne in his time here on earth and he was 100% more deserving of that than any appointed Pope.
Its a common thing now for young people to use abortion as birth control, I heard of a young african woman that had 4 - 5 abortions in a span of a couple of years (disgusting)..... I once heard the testimony of a woman who used to work for one of the abortion providers, and they would go into public schools and encourage young kids as young as elementary school to explore each others bodies (they would do this knowing they would be sexually active as young teens), and when they would talk to young teens they would hand out birth control pills to young girls (but the birth control pills were diluted so that they would get pregnant), and they could perform abortions on them, and make money, they even had a quoto to acheive so they could make a million dollars a year or something like that.... There has to be a special place in hell for baby killers who do wicked things like that.

This somehow reduces the demand for abortions. Not sure how. In my thinking, you would remove government funding, not fund the world's abortion, inform parents of their child's pregnancy, report it to rape task force, reduce, if available at all, (too sad!) to first trimester, don't mandate all healthcare providers must partake in the infantacide. Remove child indoctrination of free sex in the school system and get parents to parent!

If you are able to read and understand what the Bible says then it should be fairly obvious that the end times are near. Most people today are unable to read or understand simple concepts, they just accept whatever they are told over and over again. When something is repeated enough it becomes the truth.

5. Although is has been attempted, the primary truths within any version of the Bible have not changed.
6. More and more historical accounts in the Bible have been proven to be correct.
7. Christianity is the only religion where the ONLY requirement is to accept what God has already done.
8. Because acceptance is the ONLY requirement, no one has any greater access than anyone else.

So much false teaching, so few calling it out!
We had a few threads here of late that seek to dismiss the soft sell gospel types. One particular poster fixated on one passage of the Bible with tunnel vision. No amount of passages that would help clarify the truth would help. If a church just mentions Jesus and is busy with social gospel things, they are OK and anyone calling them into question is just divisive and mean.
This mentality is similar to a group of people known as "Red Letter Christians". They too fixate on the red letter portions of the social, non confrontational parts of Jesus' words. The danger in this is obvious. One comes to the Word with a presupposition and then finds passages to agree with those suppositions.
By taking a pick and choose method of Biblical understanding entire portions of the Bible will by necessity be ignored. By not having a serious view of the entirety of Scripture no objective standard is needed, only what makes someone happy and comfortable is needed.
This is why so many people wind up watching joel osteen, rick warren, the whole TBN crowd or the preacher du jour we see on Sunday morning television They never seem to discern the folly and perversion of the Gospel these people peddle. This comes as no small surprise given that in many churches discernment is a dirty word.
The disease of the Red Letter Christian is something with which Bible Believing Christians need to become familiar.

Long story short.
Yesterday at the YMCA I had a conversation with a woman about the need for Jesus Christ.
I even went so far as to warn her about hell and i told her about what the bible says in many area's.
She became very uncomfortable.(her words) with me talking about these things.
This morning i get a call from another woman at the Y.
One who is has been put in charge.
She told me if i ever have any conversations about these things with anyone again (member or employee) i will have my membership revoked.
Should I try to fight this and go and have a meeting with her and possibly try to shear the gospel with her at the risk of my membership?
or should i just be quiet?
It is her domain down their after all.

If she kicks you out, I'd recommend calling the American Center for Law and Justice. They'd have a field day with that. If the woman told you that she was offended, then you have a right to stop talking to her. You can, however, hold witness encounters over the phone while you work out. Have a friend call you and play a willing participant in a witness encounter. You can talk about it ahead of time, and everyone in the area will get a chance to hear the Gospel. You don't have to worry about offending anyone in particular and if they complain, just say that you're on the phone with a dear friend.
