Just curious, and I may be a bit uneducated about this but If one were to start a religion based completely on Science and the most famous groups of scientists such as Einstein give him status as the highest being and then assign "Saint" status to all lesser scientists would that keep Science from being taught in schools? Actually went through all of the paperwork to obtain 501C3 status etc...etc..

I know... I'm so excited. We'll be going home soon. We'll get to be with Jesus. The signs are so... intense. One thing that has grabbed my attention tonight, I've been watching this storm develop in the Atlantic for 2 days, it's now Tropical Depression 'Alpha.' Now hurricanes have been a topic of discussion in my days with pondering Revelation, I've pondeered quite a bit and some say too much, but the thunder heads, their shape, the fatc they rise out of the sea, have 1 eye, just seemingly "silly" coicnidences that I've even chuckled about.

But, for me, the hurricane Alpha actuality now approaching has me really "troubled" if that's even the word. There's another one out there also. Funny, ya know, they last wn in 1917 and wouldnt you know, the Bolsheviks and the Russian revolution was in 1917 and USSR was born.

I rememberr 2 times I felt Demons in my life. Once I was driving to school and I felt the demon of hatred attack me. I shoute d out IN THE NAME OF JESUS LEAVE and the domons were gone. The 2nd time it was night and I was asleep. I felt the sudden urging to hate Hispances . It was very intense and I couldn't sleep. I remember somthing that a former friend told me about and I opened THE BIBLE and left in open all night and the demons went away.
I would advise any Christian to open THE BIBLE at night espically with young children and leave THE BIBLE open all night they will sleep better and not be distrubed.

Everyone believes in something, everyone is a slave to something. The only question is which master each will serve. There certainly won't be any empty places, there will be occultic idols set up in the place of Christian symbols. Atheists don't have an empty spot. They have their gods, wiccan, pagan, and occultic. So, I'd have to say no to this idea. Our God is a jealous God because He knows where evil leads and Whom is in charge. People who swing open the door to all the beliefs with the notion of equality being the fair thing which will protect all religions, just swing the door open to pure evil. While I was working a gal at work must have been bothered by a story she saw on the Internet relating to the gay issue and wanted my opinion. Here’s a how the conversation went.

She: I don’t see anything wrong with the gay lifestyle.
Me: Then why do so many gays die if their is nothing wrong with it.
She: It’s not just gays. It’s all of us.
Me: Agreed. We are all sinners. A man and woman that only have had sex with each other will not get aids.
She: Well then that includes you too.
Me:Yes it does. We are all sinners. God loves sinners but hates the sin.
She: I don’t have a problem with gays as long as they are happy.
Me: They are not happy. I have debated feminists on the Internet and they are not happy.
She: How do you know they are not happy. Their lifestyle does not bother me.
Me: Even if they die or help ruin society.
She: There is still nothing wrong with it.
Me: I don’t agree with that at all with how many people that are dying from aids. What website do you get your information from and I will give my information.

and what is a byproduct of that lifestyle is the overwhelming sympathy gays have been given from the left to the point that it has become so bad that straight men are not supposed to show any forms of strong emotion or else if they do, they are looked upon as very tempermental or out of kilter. emotion is one thing, rage is another. That basketball coach that always flips his lid is a complete fool and an idiot in need of help. It has carried over to other area's of life. They want to feminize men and boys today.

It's funny,.... the closer you are to death (your own) on a daily basis, the closer you get to God. I have seen grown men (usually the new ones to the circuit) who do not profess to be Christians by ANY stretch, fall to their knees in a packed arena and pray, after their first REAL close encounter with a 2,000 pound animal that just nearly took their life. By the next show, they are wearing crosses and praying before they strap themselves in.
Maybe we as Christians could use the rodeo circuit as a converting tool?

About 6 months ago I gave a jewish coworker a gospel tract.
He laughed it off and tossed it in the garbage (i fished it out later and gave it to someone else.)
Now he is in a rock group in Austin, lots of fame, fun, and money.
I was wondering if he was rewarded for tossing the tract?
I wouldn't give up eternity in heaven for 15 minutes of fame on earth.

Ok, the other day I purchased a batman action figure toy with blue tint wings and the cool shoot em up things that go with. My 6 year old son was having a great time playing and came over to me to show off the toy. A couple of times I was looking at it and thought to myself how for some reason the toy reminded me of a demon, especially with the wings, and started to kind of wonder about these super hero toys being sold. I didn't say anything but a few minutes lator my son (who accepted Christ when he was 41/2) came up to me and said, "Mom, doesn't this toy look like a demon? It's just wrong, I don't want to have this toy because it's actually a demon. It's just wrong."!

One year at an apartment complex a gal (this was a family to the best of my knowledge that was not involved in witchcraft or anything of the sort) had a witch's hat hanging on her door and it had fallen off and was torn. Well to be a good neigbor I took it inside my home to sew up a section so that it could hang back up on her door. My son and I were both looking at it to see where it needed to be mended when all of the sudden we dinstinctly heard a wailing sound in our house moving from us out towards our back yard and finally stopped. I stood there frozen looking at my son and he said with wide eyes, "Mom, did you hear that?"

My conclusion? I can't help but to think that there was spiritual entity involved with that witches hat, and it couldn't stand being around someone with the Holy Spirit.

I definitely have. I have actually called my daughter to make sure she was still here as she is the most righteous person I know. The thought of missing the rapture because of unrepentent sin or because I have let my relationship with Jesus slide terrifies me.

New Orleans is suppossedly one of the most "haunted" cities in the nation, if not the world. IMHO, it's not ghosts they contend with down there. It's the little snivelling minions of Satan! Many atrocities have been committed in NO from the prostitution on the balconies to the killings by voodoo practioners. NO is a very culturally diverse city. The ancient city of Babylon was called the Gateway of the Gods because of all the other-worldly activity that occurred there. We know, as Christians, that Satan's throne was in Babylon for a time. I'm not saying that Satan's throne is in NO, LA, but there is so much demonic activity in that city.

Where Did the Technology Come From?

However, Adam and Eve's descendants were very intelligent people. Jubal made musical instruments such as the harp and organ (Genesis 4:21), and Tubal-Cain worked with brass and iron (Genesis 4:22).

Because of intense evolutionary indoctrination, many people today think that our generation is the most intelligent that has ever lived on this planet. But just because we have jet airplanes and computers, it does not mean that we are the most intelligent. Modern technology results from the accumulation of knowledge. We stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before us.

Our brains have suffered from 6,000 years of the Curse (since Adam). We are greatly degenerated compared with people many generations ago. We may now be nowhere near as intelligent or inventive as Adam and Eve's children. Scripture gives us a glimpse of what appears to be great inventiveness from the beginning.

With all this talk about the Mayan pyramids I think it is appropriate to point out that the pyramid structure is clearly a display of Lucifer at the top wanting to be worshipped. Look at the back of our dollar bill, that all seeing eye is not the God of Israel or our Savior's. It is the eye of a false god. The father of all mystery religions. The father of Mystery Babylon. Every false religion leads back to him.

When the AC comes on the scene I can picture the copycat bringing along his angels, fallen ones and their offspring, the Nephilim that are spoken of in Genesis during the time of Noah are back. And this generation has been raised in a culture of tv shows and movies to accept them. Aliens are nothing more than demons and their offspring. Interesting how the UFO phenomenon exploded the same time Israel became a nation. This should show us that it is demonic in nature.

Time really is speeding up, too. I can't explain the physics of it very clearly (where's Slightly Miffed when you need him?), but I have read about this phenomenon before. The context in which I read about it was that Christian scientists were explaining how the young-earth and old-earth theories can both be correct. See, if time is speeding up, then that means that time used to be waaaaaaaaaaay slower. Now, young-earth theorists say that the universe is 4,000 to 6,000 years old, so I will go with 5,000 for the sake of simplicity.

Old-earth theorists believe that the universe is about 16,000,000,000 (16 billion) years old.

So say x is the creation of the universe and y is now.

If you consider that time used to be A LOT slower and therefore seconds, minutes, days, years, etc. were MUCH longer, then from X to Y is about 5,000 years.

If you assume that time was always the same as it is now, and you divide up X to Y into years that last as long as a year currently lasts, then from X to Y is about 16 million years.

Now, I don't actually know how that affects us (), but I find it pretty darned interesting.

I'm of the personal opinion that global warming is real, but that it's not man-made OR cyclical. I think it's simply the very early beginning of the birth pangs. I believe that the earth's warming will be the catalyst which triggers many of the disasters during the Tribulation, such as the famines, draughts, earthquakes, hurricanes, tidal waves, and "men being scorched with great heat".

There must be a something that we have overlooked that scream's he is coming back. I know the time is near, I can feel it. I get a wittness daily almost hourly that his return is near. Yet there is not one single scrip are event that supports what I am feeling and I know many thousands more are. Its time we put our heads together. In prayer in fasting are whatever. I feel souls hang in the balance. My family just signs when I remind them he's coming. I know the lord gave us the season in his word. Not the day nor hour but the general time frame and I know its there in his word. For 30 years I've been saying he's coming back in my lifetime. The exorcism failed, so the demons must have been stronger than Christ's authority. Supposedly this poor girl was highly religious, so where was the Holy Spirit indwelling her? Is God weaker than demons? With the 'faith' of so many, including the girl herself, how could these demons POSSIBLY have taken over this girl, ruled her life for YEARS, even WITH exorcism, and brought her to her death? Makes no sense to me...

My precious, innocent, beautiful 6 year old daughter. What do i tell her if i expect the tribulation to enter my home in the coming years. Right now she has the mind of a child and knows little of the sufferings of the world.
What would Jesus have me do? How do i prepare her? I will pray about this tonight and in the meantime i'm curious as to what others thoughts are on this.

Yes!!!! I am very tired of these demonic commercials!!!! It doesn't matter what we are watching on tv the commercials are getting more and more evil. Almost each commercial break we have to change the channel to avoid either demons, demonic video games or half naked ladies prancing around in underwear. It is really hard to raise kids when this is common practice. In our house, you will hear these phrases while we watch even the History Channel: "close your eyes!" or "hurry, turn the channel!"

Demons are real, btw, so that kinda thing is scary. It's not something to fool around with.
