(Submitter’s note: Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis, the parents of a boy killed in the Sandy Hook massacre, have successfully sued Jones for defamation after Jones accused them of faking the death of their son in order to attack gun rights.)
I followed the Sandy Hook news and there were plenty of strange things about it that might lead one to think it was a hoax. In fact, I hoped Jones would maintain it was a hoax in order to lead to a discovery phase of the trial. [Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis] would have a lot of explaining to do.

So ridiculous, so disrespectful to real victims. It may be or not, but it sounds like sociopathy and reflection: using human lives for political statements and corruption is fine to me, therefore they must be doing it. Then Garrison should long have known that Jones was only about lies and scams. More evidence of it is never enough, it seems...

What are you talking about? The trial was conducted, Jones didn’t settle out of court before discovery. So that happened. It had to happen, before the trial, and nothing turned up to support Jones’ nutburger fanfiction chapter, or it would have been brought up in the trial. Which he lost. Lost bigly.
The ‘discovery phase’ is when you get things like the contents of Alex’ phone and the child porn on it transmitted to the other side’s lawyers.
What explaining would they have to do, Garrison? Actually, since they owe you nothing, why would they say a word to anyone like you? You're scum they rub off their heels.
What strange things would these be, cum boy? Can you present them? Because from what I see, you’re only hoping it’s a hoax because you know what it would mean if it wasn’t a hoax: namely, that those “gun-grabbers” might have a point, and we shouldn’t just be letting Crazy Cousin Jeb have an uzi because we’re afrain of oppression by a government that can bomb you off the map, gun or no gun.

Okay. If you're so sure that you're right, say so to the faces of Messrs Heslin & Lewis: with their lawyers and the world's press present. The only one stopping you from proving you right and they wrong: is you , Benny-boy.
You know what you'll be more than admitting every second you can't, won't: or daren't …!
Oh really, and they didn't go through enough burying their kid! What explaining should they have to do, to vultures like you and Alex Jones? Just glad that shock jock was well and truly hoisted on his own petard.
At least Walter Mikac didn't have to go through this.
There are indeed strange things about it that might lead you to think it was a hoax. Strange things like Alex Jones & co., and their even stranger stories. Strange websites with strange layouts talking about the faking of Sandy Hoax, the Moon staging, how Kennedy shot first and the twin towers never existed in the first place and were retroactively invented and placed into our brain by the lizardpeople.
Fortunately, a sound, rational and critical mind is immune to these strange things.
Confused?
