What about the reports from those unfortunate surviving victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Or those in the area around Chernobyl? How do you "explain away" them?

What kind of narrative is this? Antiscience for sure, but also demonizing. Do you mean that you hope that nuclear weapons be used soon? Then what do you mean about stereotyped radiation? There are specific effects that are known scientifically and anyone can read on it, isotopes are not an ideology, etc. If you mean movies, sure, there exists stereotypes, including that it creates giant monsters. That's fiction, neither science nor Satanism.

Anti-science morons like this are probably that way because they cannot tell the difference between RL radiation (invisible and dangerous) and comic-book radiation (glowy and superpower-giving). Makes sense, though. They also can’t tell the difference between RL and their holy book(s).
