Well, it’s “address popular accusations” time!
for example eli elrick is a violent serial rapist who confessed to it
No, she didn’t. She was accused of it, she admitted some wrongdoing, but denied the rape allegations.
Like, whether you believe her is up to you, but that she didn’t confess to being a rapist — and, in fact, outright denied it — isn’t a matter of interpretation. Unless something major changed since I last checked, that’s just a fact.
(btw TRAs bullied the victim into suicide allegedy)
But of course that you’d just parrot that allegation without verifying, even though it originated from an ass-pull! And I don’t say that as someone who has any reason or desire to defend Eli Erlick — I have no horse in that race.
So yeah, your “allegedy” is indeed right. How nice of you to at least add that disclaimer…
Anyway, I bet that most people here never even heard of Erlick or the accusations against her, and could use some background. For those so inclined, have a really in-depth video that looks into the matter. Just be warned, the situation is a mess to say the least.
They glofify the work of nazi genital transplant surgeons (which also catastrophically failed) who then went on to torture masses of jews to death in ww2.
A few of them became Nazis or Nazi sympathizers, yup. And?
Hun, this was Nazi Germany. A society so permeated by totalitarianism that it was difficult to find ethnic German people who did not at least somewhat sympathize the Nazis, let alone participate in some way.
But of course, others were persecuted and even killed by the Nazis; the institute that was behind trans research and surgeries was shut down and its research destroyed by the Nazis. Also, the institute’s director, Magnus Hirschfeld, had himself survived multiple physical assaults by the German and Austrian far right even before the Nazis came to power, and finally had to flee once they did.
Let’s quote Wikipedia for some of the basic info on these things. It should be sufficient to address this drivel:
In March 1933 Kurt Hiller, a lawyer affiliated with the institute, was sent to a concentration camp, where he was tortured, though he later fled Germany and survived the war.
[…]
A newspaper headline soon after the raids declared the "un-German Spirit" (or undeutschen Geist) of the institute. It was forced to shut down. The Nazis took control of the buildings for their own purposes.
[…]
Many tens of thousands of arrestees found themselves, ultimately, in slave-labour or death camps. That included some of the institute's staff, such as August Bessunger. Karl Giese committed suicide in 1938 when the Germans invaded Czechoslovakia; his heir, lawyer Karl Fein, was murdered in 1942 during deportation. Arthur Kronfeld and Felix Abraham also committed suicide. Many survived by fleeing Germany. Among them were Berndt Götz, Ludwig Levy-Lenz, Bernard Schapiro, and Max Hodann.
A handful of staff for the institute stayed behind during Nazi rule, such as Hans Graaz. Friedrich Hauptstein, Arthur Röser, and Ewald Lausch even became Nazi collaborators. It is suspected that these may have been spies. Helene Helling, a tenant and receptionist, became a Nazi sympathizer following the raid and occupied the building for some time after it. However, the institute's buildings were a bombed-out ruin by 1944, and were demolished sometime in the mid-1950s.
As for why the sex change / gender confirmation surgeries ‘failed catastrophically’ as you mentioned… well, for one, not all of them did. But those that did were at the time truly new and experimental (unlike the ones today, which you still disingenuously claim are somehow experimental). A lot of the things we take for granted today in medicine weren’t known back then, and those people were pioneering a new field of medicine and surgery, so serious risk was to be expected.
And it’s cute that you imply that all of the surgeons were Nazis, thus leading readers to associate the gender confirmation surgeries they did with the monstrous actions of those like the infamous Dr Mengele.
Except, the patients in this case were very grateful to undertake those surgeries, even though they were aware of the danger. It had no similarity at all to the human experiments Mengele and those like him later conducted on concentration camp inmates.
The founder of the gender identity sociology theory is someone who no consensually experimented on a male infant practiced on him infant cosmetic genital surgery and forced him to simulate sex acts on his also underage brother to make him a 'bottom'. Produced child porn of them under the gauze of 'genital inspections' and they both killed themselves compounded by these actions. You can watch the interview here where the victim asked whether he had to commit suicide for the experiments to be regarded as unsuccessful
And I have not heard a single trans person mention John Money (the sexologist you’re referring to) without immediately acknowledging that he was a monster, and condemning fully and unequivocally the things he did to the Reimer brothers.
Oh, and here’s the kicker, asshole: Money did not invent the term ‘gender identity’! That was another guy, Robert Stoller. But guess which term Money did invent? ’Sexual orientation!’
So, if you’re one of those womyn who proudly state that their ‘sexual orientation’ is lesbian, maybe it’s time to give up that term, because a male monster invented it. Or will you just somehow ignore that, suddenly deciding it’s somehow “not relevant” and that it actually doesn’t matter who made the term? Will you be consistent, hmmm?
In any case, the simple fact is that horrible people can come up with good and useful ideas. And ‘gender identity’ is a useful term regardless of who created it, just like ‘sexual orientation’ is.
it's not a bug its a feature even famous ones try to get child rapist + murderers leniency because they're the same religion.
Yeah, if anyone here wants to go ahead and report what that link is about… you do that. Personally, I’m not inclined to dig further into this muck.
