How is this case still going on? A woman with medical training knows that men can’t transform into women and she thinks it’s fucking sick to house a male rapist in a women’s prison. Is thinking not allowed in Canada or what? Okay James Cantor (I can’t stand him) isn’t the best at providing evidence for ROGD. Can anyone provide evidence of a man becoming a woman? Changing DNA? Giving birth? Menstruating? Ovulating? Any female bodily process at all? The burden of proof is on the person making the claim, isn’t it?

Oh this is taking place in Tranada? Her odds are not good. Very high percentage of TRAs there, even to the point that they put gender woo into their laws. Any Canadian man gets to claim trans privilege status over any woman, anytime he wants and legally he’s covered. That’s how they ended up with the perverted z-size prosthetic breast shop teacher pushing his fetish on school kids and the school couldn’t do a thing about it.

Maybe because “rapid-onset gender dysphoria” is a bullshit concept that was put forth without actual evidence to support it in the first place? You know, just a thought.

Can anyone provide evidence of a man becoming a woman? Changing DNA? Giving birth? Menstruating? Ovulating? Any female bodily process at all? The burden of proof is on the person making the claim, isn’t it?

Well, FSTDT remembers — we have several submissions from Ovarit that were about that. They contained some of the most revolting things I have ever read on this site — and as a long-time FSTDT member, I’ve seen some shit.

So, when you were faced with the very thing you’re disingenuously asking for here, you collectively lost your shit. And wanted to see that woman prosecuted for child abuse and endangerment, complete with the usual speculations about her “obviously pedophilic” motivations.

But that’s not all. We also noticed your reactions to the news that medical professionals are working on making womb transplants possible for trans women. And, surprise surprise — none of you said “Oh okay, I guess ‘TIMs’ might become real women after all.” Noooo, you threw around yet more toxic bile from your mouths.

Even should trans women become (more) able to have female bodily processes, you’ll just move the goalposts, as you always do. Because it has never really been about biology. Your fear and loathing and hatred and disgust of us has nothing to do with big or small gametes, or with chromosomes, or even with the presence or the lack of a penis — those are just the excuses (which doesn’t mean you don’t on some level believe in them as self-justifications).

The truth is that, whatever our physical form may be, we scare the shit out of you, and offend you to your very core. Our mere existence is an insult to your sensibilities and everything you stand for, and you’ll never feel entirely safe until we’re not just morally, but legally mandated out of existence.

And let’s be honest, not even that is enough. Because we’ll still exist, and since we’re the greatest threat you see to yourselves, you still won’t feel safe. Maybe you currently feel that legal bans will suffice, but that will change once you realize that we’ll still stubbornly refuse to disappear and stay within our four assigned walls.

At that point, there’s only one answer that ensures that your “safety” will never be violated. Only one solution that is final and that makes it absolutely certain that we can never threaten you, ever again.

When you think far enough ahead, your ‘gender critical’ ideology has only one logical conclusion.

I don’t see where the article mentions rapists. But i guess it’s like homophobes linking all homosexuals that exist to feces. Each and every time.

I’ve said it before; even if medicine advances so much that we’ll be able to fully (anatomically, geneticaly, psychologically, etc.) convert a person’s sex with no issues (hell, I’d say even if we somehow discovered actual magic to do it instead), to the point that not even the foremost medical experts could tell the difference between a ciswoman and a transwoman, the TERFs would STILL be screaching “NOT A ‘REAL’ WOMAN!!!!!!!”

Seriously, the only thing they’ll be satisfied with if your sex has been predetermined from before your father’s ballsack was even developed… Only then might you be a “real woman”.

…Look, I’m a cisman. I’m comfortable with my assigned-at-birth sex and don’t intend to change it if I can. Just making this clear. But for the life of me, I just don’t get why bigots are so obsessed with making absolute black & white boundaries to sexes. I mean, even in the animal kingdom, we have naturally-born asexual and hermaphroditic creatures. I’m pretty sure there are even amphibians and invertebrates that can actually change their sex at will if the need arises. So even Nature itself most blatantly disagrees with these assholes. Why can’t they just get the hint already!?

…You know, here’s a little thought experiment. If you could be miserable and ugly as your current sex, or be happy and gorgeous as the opposite sex, what would pick? I’ll almost guarantee you that even (non-transphobic) cisgendered people would actually contemplate said change at the minimum.

I don’t think it’s about that. Most of them seem very secure in their sex and identities; the latter of what you said is true, but not because of insecurity in themselves. It’s a different sort of “security” issue: namely, that they think we’re transitioning to hurt them, or at the very least that we’re inconsiderate of the damage it will do to them.

“Switching sides” is unacceptable to them because they see it as either:

a) an infiltration attempt with the aim to prey on vulnerable women and children
b) trans women’s mocking imitation of womanhood which reinforces the stereotypes of womanhood that oppress “real” women
c) a dangerous precedent that will allow male rapists (whether cis or “TIM”) to abuse rights given to trans people
d) a power play by narcissists and abusers to force everyone else to play along with their sick “games” and do what they want
e) a public health danger, because trans medicine is dangerous and “mutilates” people, and because they see trans affirmation as affirming mental illness, rather than treating it
f) (for trans men) a futile and harmful attempt at running away from sexism against women and the pain of being a girl/woman in this world.

To these people, transition is never the answer, and always harmful in one way or the other. If not to the person transitioning, then to women and children in general (and perhaps to general society as well).

It’s not just transgender people, though; these wackos are afraid of MEN IN GENERAL. Transwomen are scary because they’re “men who fool people into thinking they’re women”, and transmen are scary because they’re “traitors”, but ultimately, the fear is of men and anything to do with men. Which is why almost all TERF ranting will eventually get to the point where it’s PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS.

A lot of them think men are inherently violent and a second away from raping the first women they see, and they desperately need to cling to patriarchal gender norms so they can tell at a glance if someone is a EVIL MAN. The irony is, this is the same general reason that fundamentalist Christians also insist on patriarchal gender norms, except that they want to treat women with less respect…

I have never given birth, and at this point in my life I neither menstruate nor ovulate. Really the only female bodily process I face is osteoporosis or possibly breast cancer, but men can get those, too.

Am I a woman?

Trying to define womanhood by purely biological terms is futile in this day and age, which you would know if you had learned something about human physiology after you left high school.

So give it a fucking rest!
